I personally have never had a chest binder that's been difficult to breath in uncomfortable. I've binded for 7 years I think trying a size up would be a good idea for most people especially for companies with a more divers sizing rage can help some people without sacrificing the quality of binding.
I have two of their compression tops and wear them more than my gc2b binder, because I have a sternum deformity, and binding even for a few hours leaves me in pain for days. The compression tops have the flexibility my sterum needs and give me better compression than a sports bra but not quite as good as my binder. All of that to say, there is no perfect option for everyone. We all have to find what works for us.

My dads friend gave me a compression top because I didn’t have the money for a real binder 🥺🥺🥺It was very sweet and I wear it a lot
