different outcome for sure if his team wasn't able to hold it down for those 20+ mins he was farming so big ups to them too.
His team was to hold it because the enemy is Herald... of course when you don't see a luna or AM for 10min you go look for them in jungle.
There was a video that showed if you're a better carry and more farmed you win like 70% of matches. Besides lanning stage and not showing up to a couple of fights he did well. Also the problem was the other team, no deep wards to kill him and no fast push
But this plan will fail usually, you don't wanna farm this much. He kinda got carried before carrying the end cause most of the time your team isn't winning 4v5
@@darken2899 If the team is smart and plays with good vision they can delay the game. Team spirit did that a lot in TI and gave Yatoro space to farm and he carried. Also this applies only if the other carry wants to fight but a lot of carries don't understand their hero so they go farm too much with weaver type heroes
@@sabincioflec8413 yeah I meant in 3k elo games like the one in the example, in high elo they know how to play adjusting with their carry, but in 3k-4k this guys play style won't work if the enemy team takes fights
@@darken2899 Sure but that's a big IF. Also a lot of fights are taken very badly, like no vision or just bad positioning. Not to mention the dreaded high ground push that usually sucks.
@@sabincioflec8413 then again you said 4v5 can't be won unless it's in good vision, in poor vision state they can ever hardly catch someone alone, ending in losing a 4v5. I know this elo very well trust me what you're saying might be right but as you said winning a 4v5 needs good vision which isn't really there in this elo

I'm trying to figure out how to help weaker carries win/break even as a pos 5 player. Specter, Faceless Void, I find it hard sometimes to not get run over as a pos 5 lich against something like a centaur, windranger lane. What should I do when my carry loses in a 1v1? I know this sounds bad, but sometimes I feel like I have better luck giving my offlane a good game by jumping through the portal and letting my specter fend for themself. Thoughts?
Honestly, idk what mmr are u, but if u know 100% sure u cant help em. I think its better to leave, there are also some cores that lose hard on the 2v2 setting, but if you leave, put pressure on the 3v2 offlane and have wind tp. Maybe spec or void can do better on the 1v1. Problem is if they later get ganked, theyll always cry
Try not to be aggressive and keep the equilibrium as back as possible via pulls and blocking their pulls, if you can, beat the other support away from the wave so the offlaner doesn't run you down, and if he does your carry gets like two free waves, then you either just leave cause at some point there is nothing to do anyways, or your carry goes to jungle and you push waves, you just kinda delay your carry being kicked, if they overcommit and you actually win the lane it's a big advantage so keeping things as tight as possible also sets up for that
I would say it starts from minute 0. The worst thing in this situation is sitting behind the core, afk under tower and let him take damage.The best thing is to split the opponents, so they dont have the option to run at core as 2, but they need to keep changing the focus - i.e. pulling, blocking, trading... I know this is not the question, so moving to what to do after it.
If your carry is hopelessely behind anyway and they keep killing you/running at you (or him or both) under tower and your carry cant really jungle, you cant deal with it yourself really, you need help:
1) Tell in advance to your team they will be diving and you will be pinging like crazy for TPs and they will get kills, so they have TPs prepared.
2) Tell carry you are going to gank other lane, gank it and smoke+gate both offlaner and support into your lane afterwards. After the gank send your carry into offlane (if enemy tower is down) through portal, will be safer for him most likely.
3) Pair with other support and rotate between lanes to get kills (if you can get that).
4) Organize switch between cores - As offlaner, Most annoying for me is if I crush carry and when I can finally start chainkilling him under tower (or take tower), he switches places with beefy offlaner (vanguard hero I cant easily kill) and I dont have the advantage I built (or not as big).
5) If you can figure out, that carry x carry matchup in lane would be better for everybody, organize switch from the start, even in the drafting phase - you see, that you have Slardar+spectre, they have void+cent, send your slardar against Cent and you have most likely winning lane.
Im 7k carry. Starting at the very first creepwave you should start right clicking the offlaner till low health. Naturally you too will lose health when exchanging right clicks cuz the enemy pos 4 will also be hitting you and some creeps will hit you a bit too, so many tangoes or a salve is needed. The goal is for your carry to comfortably secure the first few wave creeps while the enemy offlane has to deal with you. Most games are decided by how well the first three waves go. I lose lane everytime my pos 5 just hides behind me doing nothing.
Also you should focus on denying creeps or interrupting the enemy pos 3 whenever their about to last hit. REGEN is important. You should be buying regen way more than you think. Back then when mangoes were unlimited I would buy 8 just to spam CM's first skill. That's how I got from 2k to 4k.
Every 3 mins healing lotus spawns. So 30 secs before it spawns, you have to remind your carry to push/clear/shove the wave immediately all the way the the enemy tower. The offlaner will choose to go farm creeps instead of letting it go to waste, so you're free to take the healing lotus. The enemy pos 4 will try to take the lotus too so you and your carry should anticipate that and it would be an easy kill, since the pos 3 is too busy securing creeps by their tower.
If the lane is 100% lost or if your carry is now strong enough to be left alone, you should start going to the other lane to attract their pos 4 and your carry will comfortably farm.
Once your carry decides he wants to afk farm you should create chaos away from him. Once it gets to minute 25 and your carry is still in the jungle thats the part where you cuss him out. If your carry is the type to join you in early fights, let him get the kill as much as possible so his participation is paid off. During a team fight, make sure you position yourself aggressively so the enemy will throw their spells, most likely stuns, disables, etc. at YOU so while cd your carry can go for the kill.
@@roarrrist can not agree more with you as a carry player, a lot of 5 players just afk singlepulling, i had a lot of 5 players that will not use their spells for the first 3 mins, while i get zoned by enemy duo they just standing under tower low hp with boots bought with first gold and 0 regen
I think i am that guy who would farm when ult is on cd and fight whenever ult is up, and for most right click carries i would hunt like a bounty hunter (which i main him in the agility section)
These tips solved many of my questions except two. If you help with this, it will help me (& maybe others) immensely.
I solo que in unranked games 90% of the times & have ~3000 MMR. I am safe lane carry.
Questions -
1. Consider that I am playing a carry like drow or antimage & I am safe lane. Now there is offlane necrophos + veno or windranger + CM or jakiro + slardar or CK + ogre in front of me. They beat the shit out of me even by tower diving (most of them). I die 2 or 3 times early game. And my item timing messes up badly like power treads in 8 to 9 minutes, darn :(
If you leave lane early, you cant farm NC on these heroes because even the small camp brings down the hero HP to half. We can't afford to spend 1 healing slave for 1 small or medium camp.
No rotations from supports or ganks by mid hero can be expected in unranked pub games. If I ask to switch lanes, I am mostly denied.
How to look at this situation & farm safely & faster in such case? Is my hero drafting wrong? I still manage 500 gpm in a games I lose or 700+ gpm in games won (& around 350+ last hits on average).
2. I see the carries like PA, LC, CK or troll getting picked mostly. The CK & LC literally tower dives at lvl 6 & my team mates lose the lane to them several times in row as I mentioned. The enemy carry gets fat fast & we lose the game. The games that I play (even ranked) are always almost a stomp, either by me or enemy stomps my team. Rarely I see a game with both sides fighting hard. Can I say that this is just my badluck? How to deal with noobs in team? I know these are just bad games. But 13-14 times in row? How? KDA speaks how a player played. If you are dying & achieving nothing (several times), it's just feeding the enemy. Many players don't understand when to take fights, going for objectives or when to be where on the map, lane equilibrium, single pulling, crowd control matchups etc. Tired of games with 0/10 BS having 9k networh after 30 mins in team.
Should I ignore these games & call it a badluck?

i may not be a high rank player but i can share my experience, i played a pos5 tiny with drow pos1, what i did was try to harass them early with avalanche, drow also helped a lot by ignoring creep for a while and hitting those heroes too. The end result is that both of the opponent offlane heroes are dying, im also dying but the drow is healthy so i actually managed to make a safe scenario for the drow to hit creep, the enemy wont dare to dive because they're low.
I once learned that your HP is also your commodity(?), the more HP you have than the enemy the better because that way they wont dive you

Same, when a non farming hero gets kicked of the lane, ita really hard to jungle. The only logical option is to lane at top or the offlane lane and take waves and large camps. Its not as fast but better than nothing. Occasionally take the defensive neuts as well
4k player here, what got me from 3k-4k was realistically understanding draft. You want a hero that has sustain, one that can live if they tower dive. When going drow or am, you're setting yourself up for that. In instances like that if I'm safelane id do the same thing. Why not tower dive a drow with her low health pool? Go heroes that can survive, something like aba safe? or jugg that has regen, and escape. Think of what can be done, as for dealing with noobs that just happens. You cant do much unless you can completely carry your team which is rare. Id leave those games to bad luck and continue.

A lot of my games have ruined because a player chose to farm first. Often got pushed back to our T3 towers and the player never left farming neutrals and keep the enemy push in check. Now the whole team is restricted to the high ground early in the game. The team can't farm, cant take risk as we have no more towers to fall back on. And often these players who went farming come back weaker than us. I have no idea why people think its a good idea to farm when they cant even farm efficiently. I don't know what I am missing, but i think they searched online for how to level up faster. They saw farming but chose to not see farming + keeping lanes in check.
I am not against farming, but leaving the team 4v5 with lanes having 3 enemy at times against 1 and sacrificing towers. Ruins the game for the team and we never got a fighting chance. I have had games which I lost in 19 minutes due to this. I know I am not good (out of all 250 matches I have played, I have never won a match in which I started mid).
I mean what are you even farming for, Where the enemy has easily reached our high ground.

I'm flabbergasted. I was in a match with this guy. He did the exact same thing and he was such a bad carry. I was offlane and overtook him so quickly.
Unfortunately people are following some guides, "Tortdelini" guides Immortalfaith guides and sometimes they are extremely bad guides and other times thei just slap those guides not even playing those particular heroes.
When new players come to the game they have no idea what they are playing they just slap the guide and do whatever the guide says.
Then you see your faceless void guy 15 min into the game with midas and the next item is maelstorm.
Honestly smurfing and selling accounts for 5-10$ has become such a profitable bussiness...

Wish i had his team mates , most of my matches i get people who destroy your lh in lane and push them out all the time , impossible to farm and win the laning stage , so frustrsiting , even when going offlane to try make fast lvl 6 to go out and gank they ruin that also. Hate the game now

genuine question: why do i miss even when enemies dont have evasion items or skill that provide evasion?
If you are on low ground and enemy on high ground , there is a chance for missing attacks, or maybe you must be missing out the jungle items

Not gonna lie the only reason this worked is cuz his team was able to buy time with 4v5 fight. Most games your team can't do that and all ur towers just go down and u lose while u try to farm... Why so many people still go afk farm is beyond me.

Yeah, weird game to review. His team managed to hold all T2s, they were never "crazy behind", even playing as 4 they managed not to massfeed kills, so levels were similar.

Fake game cause matchmaking. Gaben wants people to play much time: so the better ones must suck with the noobs in the team and lose more than they deserve. And the scum ones intead to lose and lose in order to delete and get the fuck out of the game, play in the same team of the good ones and so they occasionally win just like the good ones! And thats what Valve and Gaben do
