Definitely with you there! It's so good I want to keep reading but the sixth volume isn't coming out until February 7, 2023 according to Amazon. I'll probably have to re-read the volumes before then😅Really been hoping for a continuation of 7th Garden too since it's been on hiatus!

The Witch and The Beast is probably one of the most underrated manga of all time. It kinda is like Ancinet Magus Bride, but if you want it to be more edgy. Literally brother and sister. I got all 9 volumes and I can say that I couldn't be happier for this manga to get an anime adaptation. Fingers crossed for 2023 since it got announced recently. Go check it out 👌🏼
If you havent already checked out Hakaijuu or Apocalypse No Toride you should give them a try. Both are horror manga that progress from beginning of the apocalypse very much like highschool of the dead but more of a less humorous and more grounded feeling.
Absolutely love both of these series. Fort of Apocalypse is probably my favorite zombie manga to ever release and the art in Hakaijuu is insane. Thank you for mentioning and recommending them!!! You were right that I'd enjoy them!
I own Kurosagi in the singles. I know Dark Horse is releasing new chapters in the omnibus versions but I also wish we were getting the new content in the singles too >< Also thanks for posting the list of restocks thats coming! I'm excited for Nana, Gangsta, Yu Yu Hakusho, Bungo Stray Dogs, Kamisama Kiss, and Spirit Circle. So many good series coming back into print!

Some really good recommendations. Ragna Crimson is a hidden gem. I need to check out Magus of the Library and Bakemonogatari. Also the author of Kurosagi has a next series that's really good called MPD Psycho.

Hi Christin, If you want something interesting, but only scanlated. Try Saru Lock. It’s a seinen about a highschool boy who is a locksmith at his fathers business. He gets in trouble with gangsters, yakuza, porn business, and wacky antics. It’s funny and a pretty good read overall.
Magnus of the Library looks absolutely captivating. I'm usually into more action-oriented stuff (or sci-fi) but I can check out more laid-back stuff if it seems this good. I hope for the day Ogure Ito illustrates a manga I actually care about; I swear I've been wanting to own something illustrated by him for years but I usually don't care for his stories or Bakemonogatari in this case. Hopefully some day he'll do a short mecha manga or something. Kurasagi has a fascinating concept, I'm surprised no production company turned it into a drama series. Finally, I agree Ragna Crimson's art has a lot of "soul" and some cool designs.
Man, a mecha manga by Oh! Great would be amazing with the level of detail he puts into his artwork. Would love to see some mecha designs by him and the type of world he would create. I really hope you are able to get into Oh! Great's work someday. Have you tried Tenjo Tenge or Air Gear yet? Both are more action-based if you haven't looked into them already. I'm the same way. Love action-packed series and sci-fi, but love some slower-paced, fantasy, or slice of life series also. And it really does! Ragna Crimson has such a unique and cool art style. You'll have to let me know what you think of Magus of the Library if you check it out!

Wow I was really surprised to see Ender Geister here, glad to see it was shouted out though as it’s a very fun series to read through. One manga I read recently that I recommend to everyone is Blank Canvas by Akiko Higashimura. It’s an autobiography about the author’s journey of becoming a manga artist and navigating through art, school, and life. It’s an incredible series that impacted my perspective on life so much and the fact that this kind of story could only be done through the manga medium is really fitting. It’s currently available in the form of 5 paperbacks by Seven Seas collecting the whole series and only takes about a day to read through.
After reading Ender Geister, I couldn't stop talking about it haha. It really is such a fun read as you said. Happy to hear that you enjoy it as well! Blank Canvas sounds really interesting. I'm going to have to check it out. I've been meaning to get into more josei, including Princess Jellyfish, so I'd love to delve into this memoir as well. After hearing what you said it sounds like an impactful read, so I'm looking forward to it! Love the quality of Seven Seas manga too, so that's another plus. I see that these are really amazing manga recommendations but 'The flowers of evil' by shuzo oshimi is definitely my favourite and most recommended manga to anyone out there as it just gives you a feeling nothing else seems to give , it's really great and my top manga for sure!
