I have an excel spreadsheet for keeping track of runner in-times and out-times on computer 1 as they come into an aid station for an ultra marathon. I'd like to be able to have another computer 2 at the entry point into the aid station ( they will collect the in-times for the runners) and have those entries update the runner files on my computer 1.
any ideas on how to do that? mine will be via wifi!
Thanks

I have 2 desktops and want this feature to share files between them. I have a wifi 4G wireless router too. My PC1 has a wifi dongle in it and accesses internet from the router. So if i put one more dongle into the PC2 can i share files between my computers but i dont want PC2 to ever touch internet, i only want to use it for this file sharing business. Is this possible.
Thanks Dear. It's working.
You're welcome!

Thank you so muuuuuuuch
This doesnt work in Win 11 does it? I followed the whole procedure. Found every settings too.
But while accessing from other computer, it will ask for network credentials. Even when I did turn password protection off.
Make sure you added permissions to everyone category
Is it possible with password protect? Because same Wifi is using different company?
Worked.... thanks 🎉🎉🎉

This doesnt work. Finally in network it only shows the shared folder.....the other system is not able to see this system. Same process done on that system also, but this system cant see that shared folder.
thanks!
No problem!
Can asked if this only work in the same network?
I think so, you only need 1 network for sharing
It works , for real , try it ❤
Enjoy
Bro... i have question.
If I edit word on the second pc, will all the changes made automatically saved in the original file on the first pc?
Yes
But same time you should not edit before saving from one pc
Why does the share button not work?
share button @2:15 is greyed out
Totally does not work. No other computers on my network can see this shared folder :(
How to share ALL the files? Do you have to do this on the "other" computer, in my case, a laptop? I want to share the entire computers.
He only likes people who praise him and thank him.......he replies with your welcome etc. He doesnt answer questions.
@@simplysurfing becoz this is just copy paste video ,they don't know about technical
@@TERMINATOR_4.0 -Correct. Zero knowledge.
can I share the whole drive like this?
Sure
Kisi or desktop se share kese kare
This is driving me nuts. I followed the steps, and I can see the shared folder in my other pc's Network tab in File Explorer, but when I try to open it, it says I don't have permissions, even though I selected to turn off password protection as shown in the video. The only thing I've been successful with, is sharing the Users/Public folder as described in another video. But I'm trying to set up a file server for video editing... captures from vcr on one machine, then edits on another. I even tried creating a shortcut of the folder I want to share and stuck it in the Users/Public directory, but then it complains saying I don't have permissions to access it either. I've set up a shared drive before in the early days of Win10... this shouldn't be so darn difficult.
Select permission as everyone can edit and read
@@Easyclassestech I did that. I followed along step by step with your video.
@@Easyclassestech Fixed it... I had to right-click the folder and physically add "Everyone" to the Security tab. Nobody mentioned that one. 😋
Didn't work
why can't i do this on windows 11 ?
You can do
