If you have problem with wrong password, it's not always problem with pass but also with login. In mac on sharing window right click on user, click information, look at the "where" section, there is how you should write your user as login in windows.

Sadly didn’t work for me when it came to the Map Network Drive part. Both computers connected on a LAN as well. Just hung up when searching.. You’d think it would be easy in 2024 🤦🏻‍♂️

Thanks, this was super helpful. Other tutorials say you just have to turn on file sharing and then the Mac should appear in the PC's network locations. They all leave out the step mapping the network drive.

I don't understand what i'm doing wrong, I keep typing in the login of my mac on my PC but it doesn't work and then i tried using my login details on MAC and that doesn't work either

Thank you! I've used both Mac and PC for a long time now, but the way we do this connection changes often. The mapping feature was exactly what I needed. It wasn't there the last time I used Windows. Excellent video!
