- For any survivors out there, this is the first of hopefully two transmissions (if I survive long enough) that will provide notable locations to avoid or visit in the U.S. from Alabama to Mississippi which have been color coded as follows:
Green: Safe Areas (Trading Posts, Communities, Quarantine Zones)
Red: Areas to Avoid (Ground Zero sites of most major cities)
Black: Hostile Entities (Human or otherwise)
This data has been collected over the past several months. However, because life during these times is in a constant state of flux, some of the information herein may no longer be accurate. Therefore, it is recommended to exercise extreme caution when visiting any of these locations and treat them just as you would any other unexplored point of interest.

What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. It's a non-scientific word that an everyday person came up with to describe the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering, personal attention or watching someone perform a task. It's like goosebumps but much more pleasant and without the uncomfortable chills.
ASMR videos are meant to intentionally induce this sensation in the viewer, often referred to as "tingles", but the videos also serve to provide a relaxing, calming and soothing experience for the viewer. Many people who do not experience ASMR still enjoy the videos for their calming and sleepy effect.

To ER,
I received your transmission notifying anyone who was listening of safe and dangerous zones. I figured that I would write in and let you know that in the next transmission include that rural St. James, Missouri is a definite safe zone. We are on the old Interstate 44 but we've managed to secure the area from hostile hands.
Right after the world ended, families swarmed to the veteran's hall here in St. James. Most being from military families to come help out their veteran family members. While all were there, an agreement was made that we would stick together and help each other get through these times. We set to work fortifying the town but building a wall around the perimeter of the downtown area. It wasn't a nice wall being made of broken wood and metal sheets, but it provided shelter from the outside world.
We have a decent arsenal and weapon shop as were able to intercept some weapons from a military shipment. A few local farmers run a market for food. And we have a clean source of water thanks to Meramac Springs being right next to us. We've fire up our old iron works there too an have been making bullets, armor, and anything else we need. We've even been able to improve our wall to be almost completely iron.
Refugees from Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla fled to our little community from the group that had set its self up there. They had formed from the remains of the college, a group without any moral convictions, a organization called the Miners. They set up shop in the mines hence their name. The Miners typically stick to Rolla, but sometimes we do get a small attack or two.
We're doing good for ourselves in this wasteland. We still have school, but we teach combat skills as well. It's sad we have to do it, but it's necessary. Feel free to let people know we exist as we welcome any settlers!

SO CLOSE to ER casually mentioning where I grew up but also....the Nuclear power plant is on the eastern shore of the state. But good idea x-ing out Bridgeport and Hartford. Apocalypse or not, stay where you feel safe.

Several students from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign have survived the attacks. We have quarantined the central quad as a safe zone with absolutely zero entry or exit. We will hold out until against any hostile forces until we are able to find a cure, we are eliminated, or until we receive a hazmat and relief unit. Godspeed.
I loved this when I first watched it then I forgot about it and I think I love it even more the second time.
This is real neat and will probably try listening to it again during the day, but put it on to relax before bed and pretty soon was anxious running through zombie scenarios, ha ha oh well

for anyone wondering about all parts undiscussed in Massachusetts a disaster wether it be accident or intentional caused a calamity to befall the areas that news and travel there were halted almost entirely due to the fact that the survival rate is too low there though some "survivors" claim a certain sanatarium still resides there and all disappearances and the calamity itself was merely its existence though this claim is questionable at best

Iowa should be avoided. The vast amounts of corn are perfect hiding places for hostile entities. On the flip side, once all the corn is dead, the incredible flatness of the state will allow you to see hostiles from miles away. It’s either the best place or the worst place.
UPDATE ON KANSAS: Lawrence, Kansas has been established as a safe-haven, and like Medford, Oregon, has been walled off from the Interstate and guarded with high security. No militia or scavengers are granted access and are incarcerated or neutralized once spotted.
I didn't think The Walking Dead finale would be this action-packed.

One thing I would like to let you know is that at 27:10, down near the southeast border of Idaho and Utah, by a lake called Bear Lake has a few towns around it, the biggest being Montpelier, and the surrounding area has an airport, and lots of farms, and game to hunt. Good place to live out the apocalypse.
Good to know Alabama (my home state) doesn't change much after the apocalypse.
