The naval academy in the coastal village of Castine was reclaimed by local military segments, creating an organized settlement with ample supplies and shelter. As a result, several hundred civilians in the surrounding area have flocked to the port and set up a small boomtown on the peninsula. To the east there are reports of a disused gravel pit and mine in the former town of Brooksville. Once a dump for toxic waste, there is reputed to be some unusual activity there, the likes of which have not been seen anywhere else on the eastern seaboard... The military settlement has boats which can ferry people and supplies up the river, but the west side of the Penobscot is full of wild animals and mutants. If you can get past the heavily irradiated and hostile city of Bangor, a similar settlement has been created at the old college campus in Orono. The head of the Castine safe zone suggests relocating to Castine or Orono for maximum security and chance of survival. I think it would be awesome if you did a LetsPlay (asmr style of course) of it, it's simple to pick up but hard to master! Plus, I think it would really appeal to you. And I'd love to see it!
Should try out that new game they are billions. Hard core zombie game RTS with a twist, you can pause and do your stuff but also have limited time before a lot of zombies hored your settlement and kill you (unless you managed to get a good army to kill most of them)

Ah. A C:DDA player. It's been a long time since I was making mods for that game. Of course, since then we've got tilesets and Z levels, but those are some pretty great things for the game!
What it CDDA, and how do you survive the first couple of weeks? (skip ahead for the tldr) first day, make a crowbar as soon as possible (smash benches in spawn). Pick up as many rocks as possible and spend a few days levelling throwing. Avoid all but the complete outskirts of town otherwise you'll get mobbed or attacked by dogs. Each chips and cry in the dark. If you can do all that for a week you may just have a real chance at surviving long enough to be mauled by a moose with a murderous gleam in its eye. If you cant fight it ranged theres no use fighting enemies at all, just run. tl;dr "rock throwing simulator with suicide-by-moose, 2018 edition." you're gonna love it.
Quick update on world safezones: due to the nuclear winter brought on by the apocalypse, australia has become largely habitable and self sufficient. If you can find a working plane or boat with enough fuel and supplies, and make it to australia, the government has set to rebuilding the infrastructure of the world. They have refugee camps set up, and much of the pre-war lifestyle is intact.
Please make another/4th of these? Perhaps pre-mark a map for certain imaginative indicators. Perhaps find a sewer system map and describe escape routes? I simple MUST hear more directions and map marker from you!!! PLEASE! :D
