      Something interesting I've noticed about filler is that it seems to change the shape as well as the size. It erases the natural diversity in lip shapes. Increasing the size (outside of extremely subtle amounts) will make the inside parts of your lips that wouldn't naturally show, show.
      I know there's different "styles" of doing lips to create different shapes, but it seems to me that over time as the filler settles and migrates, you lose that shape and it starts resembling all other filler lips

      That wasn’t filler. The procedure is called Mesotherapy. They inject biostimulators made of hyaluronic acid (but not the thick kind like filler), peptides, vitamins, exozomes, &/or polynucleotide that dissolve within hours or a couple days depending on the product and your skin. It’s extremely safe as long as it’s a legit product & you’re not allergic. It’s ingredients we use on our skin in topicals, just purer & sterile so safe to inject into the skin to moisturize, build collagen, etc.

    • @VegasTiff
      @VegasTiff 4 місяці тому +5

      I should clarify, the ingredients I listed above are safe. There are some Mesotherapy products that do have a light filler (cross-linked HA) in them or other ingredients called PCL, PLA, PLLA or PDLLA that can cause vascular occlusion if they are injected into a vein but they are safe also as long as the injector aspirates & is educated. Not sure if the ones with cross-linked HA hang around forever like regular HA filler can. They aren’t meant to hold shape the way filler does though. As far as I know they actually do fully dissolve after a bit.

    • @alicjaalvena1120
      @alicjaalvena1120 4 місяці тому +21

      @@VegasTiff cross-linked HA IS FILLER and doesnt matter what other ingredients are, it still behaves like a filler. also, fillers are different. some fillers are more viscoelastic and some are more fuild. ofc those more fluid and less dense are easier for body to dissolve. each filler serves different purposes. the harder ones are to volumize for example cheeks and stay in place, retaining their original shape, and soft ones fill for example under eyes. if a mesotherapy vial contains for example 12mg/ml filler, and normal fillers contain typically 24, it still behaves the same. u just need twice as much for the same filling effect. id avoid skin boosters with fillers tho, cause u cant be sure what kind of filler you're getting there, producers dont specify that.

      It was also deeply reassuring to see ugly and boring people on TV back then too. I don't want to be constantly looking at people who make me feel bad about myself, and I think it's fascinating that this kind of self harm is so addictive. We know full well that looking at perfect people does damage to our self esteem, but we won't watch movies without them.
      Seeing more and more people call normal teeth "disgusting" for not being perfectly white, people laughing at anyone who wasn't model beautiful... it's quite hard to blame the media, we had so much choice and we chose this. It's nice to see it be rejected a little, but I don't think it's more than just another current changing in beauty standards, like tans, like butt size, we just get a little bored and flock to the next pretty standout and declare that this time, this is the true beauty. I don't think we've learned a thing.

If its blocking lymphatic system, its keeping all the fluid that should otherwise been drained in the skin and you'll literally be swollen. As a surgical tech that assisted in plastic and burn surgeries and personally had 11 surgeries (non-cosmetic), I cannot stress enough how important it is to avoid ALL surgeries unless truly medically necessary! Our bodies were absolutely NOT designed to have anything added to it or removed. Every time you penetrate your skin - the body's first line of defense - it triggers a healing process that effects the ENTIRE BODY!
    I'm not kidding yall. My entire education is based on surgical technology and the body's healing process. Please take this a professional advice from an expert in their field.
    I specialized in complex neurosurgery. When i became disabled and informed i need a pain pump and nerve stimulator, i immediately said h3ll no. I have performed those EXACT surgeries on others and implanted these same devices. If a neurosurgical tech is refusing the same procedures neurosurgeons prescribe to patients, that is a major sign.
    If a scrub nurse that has performed hundreds of plastic surgeries from reconstruction of botched cases to initial implants and "mommy makeovers" is refusing to have plastic surgery - TAKE THAT AS A SIGN!!

      Same and I'm so glad she did. She kept saying I was beautiful and enough. And she reminded me that beautiful comes in all shapes and sizes, how confidence is pretty too and how being proud of your accomplishments makes you shine. How following your passion is something people will admire. And being a kind and welcoming person will be inviting to more kind souls.
      And even though as a teenager with raging hormones I really didn't believe her at the time, her comments stuck with me forever. I didn't believe it then, but I remembered it.
      And when I got older and topics like fillers and plastic surgery became a topic I rejected them immediately because of what she told me. I knew I was enough. I'm eternally grateful.

      There simply aren't enough conclusive studies yet - we don't fully know the effects of filler decades later. There have been really interesting studies lately, but no conclusive results yet. It seems pretty well established that the product dissolves some collagen along with the filler, and that's a big deal as you age (the number one thing people do to look youthful is treatments to boost collagen production), which is why a lot of people end up looking much older once they get them dissolved.

    I was told I should get surgery to fix my face and body so people would think I looked good and was worth flirting with and/or dating. I was told to get a boob job too. I never ever considered doing it because my body and face may not be “perfect” but it’s mine. And I’m proud of it (IDC if it’s lame. It’s my life and my body and I’m good with how it looks!)

    I just turned 31 this September and I have to say, I am SO HAPPY I didn’t fall down the filler rabbit hole in my early 20s like a lot of my friends did. I look at least five years younger than the rest of them. While they Sit around talking about what procedure they want next because they are never fully satisfied, I am happier than I’ve ever been with my appearance and have never been complimented more. Confidence in yourself and knowing who you are radiates. And if you do feel the need to get fillers, go to a reputable plastic surgeon. NOT a med spa. For the love of god.

    I'm 32 and filler is one of my biggest regrets. I look much older than I would have otherwise. My jowl lines are way more pronounced and it makes my face droop quite a bit. My face essentially always looks swollen and fat. It isn't cute. Please don't get fillers. I honestly would have been better off just getting a face lift. It's funny, I wanted to avoid surgery and now I essentially NEED a face lift just to get my face somewhat back where it should be, and dissolving the mess in my face is going to take a lot of money and time on top of that. Plus, my lower lip has an ass crack now. :/

    • @luchshayavagena
      @luchshayavagena 2 місяці тому +2

      Girl, don't rush it pls. Face lifts don't last long and it's recommended(i don't think you should ever do that, but even the surgeons tell that) not earlier than 45-50yrs. Its not for long, risky, painfull and you get deeper in that cycle of plastic procedures. That's the problem, we all gonna die, and getting old and wrinkly is a fuckin present of life, so i think it's dumb to try to reverse the irreversible. I hope you learn to love yourself as is

      It makes sense cause one of old French super model had a surgery like that and her skin dissolved like this. She sued the hospital back then but I’m not sure it’s the same thing.
      It should be cause that lady mentioned about can’t get rid of some piled up fat on some parts so she wanted that process on her entire body. Now she’s not even able to go outside bc of her loose skin😨 terrifying

  • @misswy1u

    Locating where your filler is to get it dissolved is also a problem. If your filler has migrated, it is not easy (even for skilled plastic surgeons) to locate where the filler is and wandering around under your face. Dissolving injections are quite expensive. And you could be paying that money to get nothing dissolved, but just getting injection in wrong area. You cannot get rid of filler perfectly once you get it.

    • @yeahdallas
      @yeahdallas 3 місяці тому +2

      You can find a Dr that uses a ultrasound to look at where the filler is located, but it is still hard for them to inject the exact right spot and get it all the first time. It takes many rounds. It is painful and expensive.

Since I've been following your work for years, I trust you, and I feel compelled to share your videos whenever I sense that someone in my circle of friends is about to fall into the trap.
