In high school I was uncomfortable and embarrassed to be viewed as a muslim and strayed away a little away astagfirullah, may God forgive me. Sunnyllaneous peace ✌🏻 Rather than a midlife crisis i would say it was an awakening of the soul or fitrah as they say in Arabic. I had a similar thing happen to me at 23 years old and i left the Jehovah’s witness faith to become a Muslim. Islam answered all of my questions and concerns i had with the Christian faith/s and actually encouraged these questions. The Quran says that we should reflect and ponder and seek for knowledge.

I am not religious personally but I found this video so interesting and empowering in a way to see you becoming who you truly want to be. Especially the process of researching, learning and growing that you went through. Living in London and working in the very diverse transport industry I was around a lot of Muslims for the first time in life. For example many of my colleagues fasted. I had very good female Islamic friends who did not wear Hijab but were practising and all those showed me that the image in the West of Islam being anti-feminist simply wasn't accurate (for example one of Muhammad's wives Aisha). The problems that exist are much more political and cultural than religious. Not quite sure where I am going with this, I don't share your beliefs but I respect them and I look forward to following your journey.

I did not expect to see so many reverts from different countries and it fills my heart with so much joy and love. I am a Chilean, born and raised in Canada. I have been in the process of converting to Islam for a few months. I just finished my university Islamic course, have been reading through my own Quran, and researching online. The scholars have written that the wife of Abū Hudhaifah Radhiyallāhu Anhu poured her milk into a utensil from which Sālim Radhiyallāhu Anhu drank the milk. He did not drink directly from the breast of Abu Hudhaifah Radhiyallāhu Anhu’s wife. You can try your best to find faults, but you will not find faults in Islam. The reason is because this religion is from God. You on the other hand, trying your best to lie and create mistrust. You are the one who is following the footpath of the Satan. If you are truthful, then you will apologise, repent and ask God to guide you to His path.

I love this story; English people are some of the most amazing people in the world, hearing about you accept Islaam, fills my heart with happiness. Alhamdulillah, I've said this for years, Islaam was never meant to be a faith tradition and way of life only for people of colour; but rather its a universal message for the whole of humankind. Salam. I actually found your channel just few days ago when I stumbled upon your vlog in Madinah. By the time, I just thought "this woman tries to be respectful, I like her". It was obvious then that you've done some research on Islam but I didn't think much of it, the respect you've shown was more than enough to lit my day. Never did I thought that you would convert and if I'm honest, I'd rather you not since I feared you might just be one of those people who convert without much thinking or with ulterior motives. Your story is so touching and amazing. As someone born Muslim it's stories like these that really makes me see a different view and journey to Islam. Another thing that you're doing right is to take it easy. I have kids who are not yet of age to pray, but it's important to start with a few prayers and start doing small things before you get into it, as the religion was not intended to be difficult. I’m a revert too I did my shahada on the 18th of august and I’ve got to say I feel more at peace reading and lisening to the Quran or taking to my in laws about it. In general I’ve been so calm since ❤️
It’s like Allah wanted you to get your attention on Islam and give you a lot of time alone (pandemic) so that you could learn about Islam on your own comfort and actually reflect upon what Islam really is. I remember watching your vlog in Medina. And I was shocked as to how on earth did you manage to reach there. First emotion was definitely anger. And then I realised that the anger stemmed from jealousy. Jealous because there are millions of muslims including me who would die to visit there and they are unable to. Thats when I realized, only the chosen ones would reach there. A person can do whatever they want, but unless they are invited, they will never reach there. Once that sunk in, I was wondering what would happen next - Will u see the signs and make a decision. Or would you see the signs and still ignore ? Here we are.... You made the choice and am thinking to myself - This Girl should be really blessed to be chosen by Allah. Remember - even Prophet Muhammads uncle was not lucky enough to embrace Islam. But you did. Which means God Chose you. Which means you are special. To make a decision is difficult. But even more difficult is to ensure that you be consistent in the straight path. Well....he guided you so far. And I am optimistic that he would guide you further. Last but not the least - you did mention about the PEACE you attain in Medina. Thats something only someone who visits Medina can relate to. There is no place on earth where the same feeling can be achieved. Boy do I miss that feeling everyday. Congrats and All the best

I had a similar thing happen to me at 23 years old and i left the Jehovah’s witness faith to become a Muslim.
Islam answered all of my questions and concerns i had with the Christian faith/s and actually encouraged these questions. The Quran says that we should reflect and ponder and seek for knowledge.

I am not religious personally but I found this video so interesting and empowering in a way to see you becoming who you truly want to be. Especially the process of researching, learning and growing that you went through.
Living in London and working in the very diverse transport industry I was around a lot of Muslims for the first time in life. For example many of my colleagues fasted. I had very good female Islamic friends who did not wear Hijab but were practising and all those showed me that the image in the West of Islam being anti-feminist simply wasn't accurate (for example one of Muhammad's wives Aisha). The problems that exist are much more political and cultural than religious.
Not quite sure where I am going with this, I don't share your beliefs but I respect them and I look forward to following your journey.

If a baby urinates - Prophet Muhammad explained how to purify the area. Why are you mentioning this non stop?
If there were dry sperms present on the garments, the narrations explains how they were cleaned.
Our prophet told his followers how to even cut one's nails.
As regards to your misunderstanding about suckling milk.
The scholars have written that the wife of Abū Hudhaifah Radhiyallāhu Anhu poured her milk into a utensil from which Sālim Radhiyallāhu Anhu drank the milk. He did not drink directly from the breast of Abu Hudhaifah Radhiyallāhu Anhu’s wife.
You can try your best to find faults, but you will not find faults in Islam. The reason is because this religion is from God. You on the other hand, trying your best to lie and create mistrust. You are the one who is following the footpath of the Satan.
If you are truthful, then you will apologise, repent and ask God to guide you to His path.

Salam. I actually found your channel just few days ago when I stumbled upon your vlog in Madinah. By the time, I just thought "this woman tries to be respectful, I like her". It was obvious then that you've done some research on Islam but I didn't think much of it, the respect you've shown was more than enough to lit my day. I remember watching your vlog in Medina. And I was shocked as to how on earth did you manage to reach there.
First emotion was definitely anger. And then I realised that the anger stemmed from jealousy. Jealous because there are millions of muslims including me who would die to visit there and they are unable to.
Thats when I realized, only the chosen ones would reach there. A person can do whatever they want, but unless they are invited, they will never reach there.
Once that sunk in, I was wondering what would happen next - Will u see the signs and make a decision. Or would you see the signs and still ignore ?
Here we are.... You made the choice and am thinking to myself - This Girl should be really blessed to be chosen by Allah. Remember - even Prophet Muhammads uncle was not lucky enough to embrace Islam. But you did. Which means God Chose you.
Which means you are special.
To make a decision is difficult. But even more difficult is to ensure that you be consistent in the straight path.
Well....he guided you so far. And I am optimistic that he would guide you further.
Last but not the least - you did mention about the PEACE you attain in Medina. Thats something only someone who visits Medina can relate to. There is no place on earth where the same feeling can be achieved. Boy do I miss that feeling everyday.

Maybe because it's the truth and you don't like it. Anyway, if you have issue with Qur'an or why it's written like this or that so I would suggest you to read the Quran with full context. Don't just read one verse and come up saying it's wrong in that case you won't understand anything. If you disbelief read please, and then if you have any questions ask any local sheikh and he will answer your questions. @Cherry Blossom there is no tongue mentioned in Quran. It's a wrong word they used in English for translation. Research more and that's why reading Quran in Arabic is absolutely better and right way than reading translation.
