For me it was similar, after reverting I got married (nikkah) within 6 months to born Muslim, and now reaching 3 years of marriage alhamdulillah. As a muslim I realised the importance and benefits of marriage and family compared to before islam

@red_diamonds don't worry. Your jodoh will come soon after you have been ready. I remember, I met my husband and got married in a couple of months after I generalize my criteria. Dont ask Allah to marry you with a specific man, but ask Allah give you best jodoh. Keep fighting.

Mabrouk!! So happy for you guys🥰 I met my husband on Facebook in July, flew to UAE to meet him in October and then went back in December to do our nikah! And yes my non Muslim family were a bit shocked, as were my friends but Allah is the best of planners subhanallah🤲🏻🤍

We started speak just about Islam in general and just clicked :) alhamdulillah I’ve met him and been to Dubai to spend time with him twice and met his family etc, so he is defo not a catfish😂 but yes, I wouldn’t recommend trying to find a spouse on social media haha

Your husband is Libyan! You are soo lucky. He is going to make you all these delicious Libya dishes. I had a Libyan boyfriend in Turkey. He used to cook this Libyan pasta with the meat dish. I don't know what spices he used to add but it was one of the most delicious foods I have ever tasted. I tried to replicate his cooking but failed badly. I think I need to visit Libya (which is not an ideal condition at the present)

That's so interesting. We had a Nikah with both sides of the family where his family lived (We both lived here)...Moved in together...then a year later did the civil wedding with both sides of the family where I am from.
