I am no longer in Saudi Arabia, my movies were filmed before things really started to get drastic. Luckily I was able to see this wonderful country. After KSA, I went to Pakistan but had to cut the trip short due to the current situation. I am self-isolating now in my home in Germany. This is so cool. I’ve been to Medina and Mecca loads of times but always for Umrah, so Ive always stayed very close to the holy mosque. Have never explored as a tourist.
5:57 Stopping randomly on the highway is a clear traffic violations that could cause accidents. These is just ridiculous phenomena that attracted many visitors from different nationalities mainly Asia. I can't blame the police for being so strict.

In Medinah you are allowed to go the Nabawi Mosque whether you are Muslim or not as long as you stay respectful. Mecca Grand Mosque is a different story.

I wish you had visited and photographed mosques and historical artifacts of Quba Mosque, Al Ghumamah Mosque, Al Saqiyyah Mosque and other historical places that are not of interest to the government together. Unfortunately, most of them are demolished, glass buildings and ugly contemporary shapes built.
Some time police officers prevent problems or try to save u from thieves, or dangerous situations bcs hospitals very far, so safety is important more than take risk
There is no restriction on Non Muslims not to enter the Holy Mosque in Medinah. You should've asked the either the guys at the entrance of the mosque or saudi Matawaa (kind of scholars??) about it and they would've given you a tour of the mosque. The ordinary police are usually not literate enough to know this. The mutawaa will give you a tour of the mosque, however will only show you the Grave of the Prophet from the outside of the mosque. THere is a library and a museum as well.
@@yogurtrass2288 Hi, Yes non muslims can visit the mosque. Preferably out of prayers hours. There are separate entrances for men and women. It's also advised not to carry any bags (other than a bag for your shoes), as then they'll stop you at entrance and search it.. YOu can speak with Mutawaa and they can even arrange a tour for you.

Actually you are wrong. During the Prophet(SAW) time there were jews and idol worshippers who lived in Madinah and it isn't prohibited except Masjid-an-Nabawi. Makkah is a different story
The green dome is one of the rooms of the prophets wives and her name is Aisha, its also the resting place of the prophet and two of his companions, one each side of him. Although Aisha watned to be put to rest beside him, they died before her and wished to be layed beside him. Madina is the city where the prophet and the musliams seek refuge from the the tribes of Makkah, the people of Madina sang this song for the prophet when they saw him " The moon has come to appear to us from the farewell folds , Thanks is a must on us, God didnt have to do this for us, oh messanger sent among us, you came with the massage we obay, you came to honoring the Madina, God didn't have to do this"

im from Australia and one of the best times of my life was visiting the city of Madina for 2 weeks.

It is not forbidden in Islam for none Muslim to go to Medina. It is just not allowed in Saudi Arabia. Prophet Mohammed received none Muslim in Medina.

In Medinah you are allowed to go the Nabawi Mosque whether you are Muslim or not as long as you stay respectful. Mecca Grand Mosque is a different story.

I wish you had visited and photographed mosques and historical artifacts of Quba Mosque, Al Ghumamah Mosque, Al Saqiyyah Mosque and other historical places that are not of interest to the government together. Unfortunately, most of them are demolished, glass buildings and ugly contemporary shapes built.

There is no restriction on Non Muslims not to enter the Holy Mosque in Medinah. You should've asked the either the guys at the entrance of the mosque or saudi Matawaa (kind of scholars??) about it and they would've given you a tour of the mosque. The ordinary police are usually not literate enough to know this. The mutawaa will give you a tour of the mosque, however will only show you the Grave of the Prophet from the outside of the mosque. THere is a library and a museum as well.
Can non Muslim enter the mosque inside? Or until the mosque square? I hope to know where can go or can't go
@@yogurtrass2288 Hi, Yes non muslims can visit the mosque. Preferably out of prayers hours. There are separate entrances for men and women. It's also advised not to carry any bags (other than a bag for your shoes), as then they'll stop you at entrance and search it.. YOu can speak with Mutawaa and they can even arrange a tour for you.

You ARE allowed to walk in the Haram but not allowed to enter into the proper mosque (indoors where there are carpets) Masjid e Nabwi indoors that's the limit.

Actually you are wrong. During the Prophet(SAW) time there were jews and idol worshippers who lived in Madinah and it isn't prohibited except Masjid-an-Nabawi. Makkah is a different story
