Before you get mad at me that almost all of the "where are they now" bits are fake, please remember; I do not care. There are a lot of jokes in this video. Some of them will make you laugh. Some of them will elicit absolutely no response. And that's okay. I tried my best.
This video is about 36 minutes longer than it needed to be. I spent a lot of time making this because I saw it as a tribute to vine, and so I wanted to make it as good as I could. I talk about vine, the cool things they allowed me to do, and the most important person I met because of it. And of course, I examine where some of Vine's brightest stars have ended up after its demise. Again, these are all jokes. To me it was more fun to write a bunch of fake scenarios than to actually make a video about how the deez nuts guy is like a substitute teacher now or whatever. Do you really care about that? I don't.
Some of you won't like this video, and that's okay. I made this for me, and I'm very happy with what I made. Here's what I'm anticipating will be the most common responses:

All fair criticisms, especially in regards to the length. I totally get that most people won't want to watch a 48 minute video. Don't worry, I will be back very soon with more digestible content. I've probably said that before and then not done it, but just trust me this time. New video next week.

I had a kind of similar experience to Drew&Amanda, where I met my first partner through UA-cam. I was 14 in 2008 and I was super into Red vs Blue, and she made RvB parody videos. actually sobbing from the amanda story-hopefully this gets buried but I will be doing international long-distance with my absolute angel of a boyfriend for at least the next two years because of college. we watch UA-camrs like drew and danny online together online sometimes while calling each other because we adore these creators, and it’s nice to laugh in sync, even if it’s thousands of miles apart. there’s something to be said for the fact that in 4 years drew’s videos still look the same, have the same vibes and humor. i think growing and evolving your content is overrated. sometimes doing the same type of thing for years can actually be quite comforting :)

@@RamenNamen991 how is musically in any way related to vine? the entirety of musically was just people lip synching songs or lipsyncing jokes. there was literally no originality on the app. tik tok is a lot closer to vine and also a lot more original. there's some short and quotable jokes from there (not as many as vine but it's a lot newer than vine) a lot of text-based humour, a lot of trends and a lot humour based around song lyrics. i guess tik tok is like a spiritual successor to vine but it's pretty refreshing in it's own way.

The problem I have with you... Is frustrating. Your comedy is usually so off the cuff and perfect that I actually have a hard time telling when you are serious or when you are joking. I love every second of it
