- The French high wire artist best known for walking between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in 1974 performs in Washington, D.C. for the first time.
In my opinion, I can't believe that I'm looking at the same guy who walked between the two towers of the World Trade Center without any safety and yet he's still doing something similar to that today at his age which I find mind blowing!
Bro is literally 73 when doing this. Let that sink in. This is why he's one of my idols.
Man on Wire brought me to tears. . . . . more than once. Incredible Frenchman.
Still got it, Philippe
Bravo! A wonderful human being. "And when you see mountains, remember, mountains can be moved." P.P.
Petit also has a brilliant Tedtalk from about 10 yrs ago.
