Looks great! I just made one today too but didn't cut the stem off the ornament. I used different blues inside the ornament and then lightly tinted the rest of the resin blue that went into the skull. I was afraid of flash curing too, so I filled it halfway and then the rest of the way later with slightly darker blue resin. That was a great idea to use a piece of dried resin to seal it up! I was just wondering what I was going to use when I used up the vinyl I had. Thanks for the idea. I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of the air bubble. It's driving me crazy in mine. I have a 2nd one I'm testing right now and hoping it'll be good with no bubble tomorrow.
Oh love it. What size bulb is it. I just got some think it’s 60mm. It’s suppose to have a bubble in it right? If it’s to full will it still work right. Thanks for the great video
from my experience, when I've made the orb and got all air out, the glitter barely moves. I don't understand it but since then I've made sure there's a bubble lol
Good idea… should prolly mix the glitter like a soup before plugging it up that way it doesn’t just clump like that… fine glitter is good for clumping too tho… but yea good idea looked cool ah
Do you need the Christmas ornament, or could you instead just pour a thin layer into the mold to make the skull and fill that up with the liquid and assortments?
@Designs By LuciansMom it'll probably change the fluid dynamics inside with all the weird angles of the mold. I suppose you'd also need a slightly different mold shape since you'd need a bottom to the skull and pouring resin right into the liquid would probably not work out that well 😅
@@designsbyluciansmom awesome ❤️. When I get moved to Tennessee where my older brother Mike is they have a hobby lobby so I'm going to take my skull mold and start my search for the right plastic Christmas ornament . 😊

Yeah the glitter doesn’t move so well without the bubble

What size bulb? Thanks
I’m not exactly sure, I got it from the ornament section at hobby lobby
Do you have a tutorial on how you used a cup ?
I will upload it
Could you please tell me where did you purchase the skull mold. Thank you
I get almost all my molds from Amazon
@@designsbyluciansmom thank you I appreciate your help and I did find the mold on Amazon. Have a great weekend and happy 4th of July

I have not tried it that way

Yeah, that would be difficult
What was that that you put on there to cover the hole? I have rewound it several times to see where it came from. Lol
Hi Jodi, it was a piece of resin, then sealed with uv xx
@@appleoneill5135 oh okay. Well that makes sense.
Yes, it was a piece of leftover resin
How do you know what size ornament to purchase
I purchased various ornaments and fit them until I found the right one. They didn’t have measurements on the tags
