7:30 - As someone who has purchased chickens can attest, you frequently purchase them at a store that sells chickens, feed, wire, and many, many other livestock supplies. Livestock supply stores do sell chickens, and it would be perfectly reasonable to assume that the same person who sells chickens also sells chicken coops - or at least a lot of the materials to make one.
And as someone who plays Harvest moon and other farming games, I can also affirm, the person you buy chikens is usualy the person you get coop upgrades in game too
@@IsMgb45 Huh, I don't know about other Harvest Moon games, but in HM Back to Nature you always get the coop, barns and other buildings upgrade from the carpenter dude (Gotz, I think ?)
@@ChloeHartzog THAT'S Back to Nature and DS, on Friends of Mineral Town(and it's female version MFoMT)(the upgrade it's from the chicken store), Tree of Tranquility, Animal Parade, Magical Melody, A New Beginning(the blueprint is bought from the animal store), and the very old games where you dont even have to buy/build the chicken coop. My point is, on the Harvest Moon series there are more games that directs you to get a chicken coop with the vendor that sells chickens

Nick has a point; if I went to Pets at Home, I'd expect them to also supply the kennels for the rabbits.
My local one does, and for about 3 times the price for a quarter of the quality of the local carpenter.
Granted he's a miserable sod who will gladly do a shoddy job for those he doesn't like, which is most of the locals - so it's a gamble!
The discussion on how chicken farmers not automatically being carpenters has to be one of the best.
The best part for me was how confident Gabby was and then she got overruled.
You can practically hear her being baffled at how her argument just gets shot down.

7:25 I'm with Nick on this one. Stores that sell stuff like wire and feed will often have little sections where you can buy baby ducks and baby chickens. It's well within reason to assume that a shop selling chickens is going to also sell the things needed to sustain those chickens. To not have it set up that way just seems counterproductive.
That's like a fish store not selling tanks or filters.

Nick is right, my uncle is a carpenter and if you pay him to build a chicken coop he would have ask someone who knows about chickens to give him ideas to build it.
If you instead ask the chicken seller about the chicken coops he would know to build them or know someone that builds them, because he would aready have chicken coops.

The editing jumps between Seasons gets intense now that we have added in Summer haha the progress on the farm is hard to keep up It seems like the final screen was fully grown blueberries surrounded by sprinklers
Funnily enough, I know many chicken owners who have built their own coops. Including my own grandparents, father and even I have repaired a coop.

I agree that the person who sells you chickens probably knows how to build a coop, but they arent they probably arent the ones who would go out and build coops for others. Though, I guess they might refer you to someone... Which doesn't mean much when there's only 1 carpenter lol.
