Most the fish you buy even from the top retailers like discus hans for instance, you’re not getting the top fish available. The breeders keep them for themselves. This is why breeding is so rewarding so you can keep the absolute best from each batch and then breed some extremely nice specimens
Anyone have a guess at what size PVC pipe he's running through the bulkhead. I'm about to order bulkheads but not sure whether to run 3/4" or 1" for both breeding & grow out tanks.
These are amazing, healthy fish. Great round body shape, consistent colours and patterns. Solid body. I wish they were available in Australia. -> I'm having trouble with gill flukes (dactylogyrus) in my discus. How do you manage flukes?
