I took chilli and curry leaves from this rice and add coconut. Grind. Get new tasty thuvaiyal. Side dish for this lemon. 50years my family following. 😀

Actually naa turmeric powder ah lemon juice la mix panniduven and it never gave a raw smell to the dish becuse of the lemon smell turmeric smell dominate pannadhu

No it's not a right method of adding lemon juice while in hot pot it will make rice bitter you have to put in while mixing rice it

Nothing wrong in it....even if u boil for a second and mix rice....its tastes good....it dont give u bitter taste.....even i personally like this version rather than adding raw lemon juice while mixing rice...

I haven't tried it that way dear. Adding lemon juice with the oil (after turning off the stove) will remove the raw smell
