Great review, straight to the point, all the important bits covered, as a viewer who's into both videography and airsoft I loved it. A lot of reviewers gloss over plenty of important points. Good inclusion of test footage and gameplay too, especially when it's on my favourite site lol. Personally I think I'd stick with a standard scopecam as I find slightly cropping 4K headcam footage covers all my CQB needs, the GoPro stabilisation makes cropped in shots still look surprisingly good. My main requirement is something for clear footage of those mid-long range shots. Great to see RunCam putting out new stuff though, thanks for the review!
Your welcome and I do want you do mostly too crop 4k footage usually works well. But I do like hiw I can use this inside 5 meters if I wanted to with the flick of a button 😉

@@FOXGREEN Did you had a problems with Autofocus? Mine is blurry at x4 x5 x7 x9 only couple options to not be blurry.

Hello! Do you prefer this or the RunCam Scope Cam 2?
I actually like Both this one is nice when I want to change zoom in game but the runcam scope came 2 4k is awesome such a small camera with great footage. So if you want something small get that.
Good simple Review. Nice video. The big question is if you recommend buying it?
II do like it a lot. I would recomend it for guys doi9ng sniping but for an AEG it's a little big I think.
Any ideas which camera would be any good to film both down a gun barrel and at a clay when clay shooting with a shotgun? Most cameras don't show the clay very well. Probably needs to be quite small
The problem is recoil when the gun shoots the vibration kind of ruins the video. But a good 4k camera like the runcam scope cam 4k with a 35 mm lense would work decently enough.
When camman did his review he said his zoom reset back to 1x zoom everytime it turned off and on again but yours zooms back into what it was set too ?
Yes you can see it on my video I show you it in my video. But also I heard some cameras were'nt resetting and RunCam had already realised an update 2 days ago which has fixed it. Luckily mine never had the issue and I didn't even carry out the update on my camera yet.
i noticed you are from ireland... Where do you play airsoft? We had a field in waterford but it shut down so i dont have anywhere to play airsoft now. Was looking to see if you knew where some fields where
Ya I am I play in spec ops wicklow I play in meath urban assault also cork at absolute airsoft.
Do you have any problems with the camera being frozen and can’t power off when trying to connect to your phone? I just got mine and had this problem. Can’t power off and the screen stays at Wi-Fi Connected.
Iy happened me once ues you can press and hold a combo of buttons to factory reset or let it run out of battery chaot up again and it should be fine. It is rare it happens

The crosses that mark the hit are added at postprocessing? And how comes that the runcam films the red dot too. Does it film through the red dot device?
Yes thats right. I actually add in the red dot sometimes but there is a setting to tunr one one in the camera I usually have it off however.

Ya I add it over the hit point manually when I edit the video. I usually do yes for indoor or night games.
Also you can zero it on the cross hair in the menu so no need to move the camera from side to side
Yes but that's still no good that just moves the cross hair around withing the screen yes you can zero it but if your shots are going to the left and or really far up then your cross hair in your footage is going to be all the way to one side or really high or low it will look silly.
Your better off being able center where the camera is pointing woth where the gun is shooting. Plus I never use the cameras criss hairs I edit in my own to look like a real scope.

It's the most powerful caemra for airsoft out there but I has flaws. I woudn'ty talk much to get it perfect.

@@FOXGREEN I play with sniper.... I have the runcam scope plus and 40mm 4k. I see diference when I edit sniper shots in slowmotion. But scopecam plus I can use for assault and sniper so thats a plus for me

@@FOXGREEN does this fit over the top of a standard scope from the front ring forward? Look like it might hit the front of the scope
If the riser of the scope is high enough ya but I normally mount this in front of the scope like shown in the thumbnail 👍🏻
Does it have an autofocus or is it parfocal, means the focus is fixed but it keeps that focus-distance throughout the complete zoom-range?
Anything on the sensor-size?
How stable/reliable is the wifi-connection to the app (working-distance?)?
Lowlight abilities?
Low light is ok it is parfocal, sensor size no but it is a Sony alright so its good. WiFi connection is stable nor really needed die to this camera built in screen in most instances normal distance is about 20 m not that you would need that range.
