    I developed tinnitus after a corona infection. My ears were clogged, dysfunction of the eustachian tube and weird clicking in my ears when I swallowed. I was sick for 3 weeks but my ear dysfunctions remained. The worst 3 months of my life. This video helped me sleep, but luckily my tinnitus is gone. For anyone who is panicking right now: it can go away. If you stress about it, it will get worse. Try and relax and believe me I know it's hard. You can do it.

      @@vicvic1892 It could be, there are a lot of causes. I had some therapy and read a lot of books about tinnitus to learn more about it. Tinnitus is just a symptom of something. Stress, some medication, wisdome tooth, hormones,… are some causes which many people dont consider, its often linked to ear infections, hearing loss or hearing trauma. Maybe therapy could help you manage it? I don’t know if that’s possible in your country. I wish you the very best.

    99% of the time I can control my tinnitus but sometimes my brain focuses in on the high pitch sound in my head and .sets off a panic attack. I ran outside, it was night and the natural sound of crickets calmed me down in just a minute or so. The real, sound of crickets worked for me , so i'm sure this video will do the same.

I really hope that one day very soon they find some type of treatment. I have been living with this since I was a child. I can control it, but still it would be so great to get rid of it completely.

    I lived in Bali for a bit and we lived in a house next to a rice field and during night thousands of crickets used to chirp every night. Couple weeks after living there, one night I woke up and realised I got no tinnitus no matter how hard I tried to hear it. Even during daytime. Amazing feeling. However, after we moved to other location it gradually came back.

      When the sound of the video closely matches the sound of the tinnitus, the 2 sounds merge and blend somewhat, and eventually you have the illusion it's the crickets on the video that is making all of the sound you're hearing-and with the source of all the sound you're hearing now being perceived as external, the same feeling of separateness from the source of the sound emerges as when listening to other external sounds. That provides-for the duration of the video at least-the same feeling of power over it that you have with other sounds that, being external, you know you can escape from. And with that feeling, the sound fades into the background, as with for example, a noisy fridge you can live with for years without it bothering you in the least. It's no longer perceived as a threat.

    Have had 3 brain cancers & each time beat it! Since have had tinnitus secondary radiation damage. Keep forgetting to return back. These beautiful white noises, chirps of birds it seems or crickets, absolutely seems to calm my nervous system and allows my tinnitus to blend in part of this orchestrated jungle at sundown. For 24 hrs my tinnitus was quiet 😢 then just like that 🎉 Poof * Tinnitus returns. Ggrrrr.

    The crickets are wonderful but you also know to put in that random static sound. Good job. The crickets act as a background noise while the static disrupts the ringing. The static has to be random! Normally though when people use crickets they don't understand the need for the static and use bells and whistles (literally and figuratively) if you tinnitus yourself you still certainly understand it. All attempts at relief are appreciated! THANK YOU! You really are as an audiologist and we are blessed to have this freely available. Helps with my headache and I don't have to wait until night to hear crickets.

    It would be interesting to get the sound profile for this. My guess is the reason it helps is due to some of the frequencies contained. I've often wondered if it's possible to pinpoint which ones I hear and then see about matching it and seeing about creating an inverted sound to listen to.

    Have high pitched tinnitus since about 7 years now.
    It started with sudden hearing loss in a phase of way to much energy in the body and especially in the head in premenopause. Then ups and downs with repeated drops of hearing and increase of tinnitus in recoveryphases. But it calmed a bit again each time. Part of hearing loss remained.
    Got worse lately, so that its hard to sleep, often combined with heat flushes in the night, rise of adrenaline, lightheadedness, problems with concentration and blurry vision.
    Think lack of hormones (postmenopause) play a role.
    There are very rare days (maybe 2 in a year) where I wake up with no tinnitus, where I instantly feel so relaxed and normal and glad. It's not because I am distracted with other things then, it's really gone but I can't find out, what I did different before.
    I wish I knew in order maintain it this way.🙏

      If you’re looking for pain relief options that don’t affect blood pressure or strain the liver, it’s best to consult your doctor. They can recommend alternatives, such as topical pain relievers or medications tailored to your specific needs. Always discuss with a healthcare provider before starting any new medication to ensure it’s safe for you.

    Hello :) Is this considered as white noise? I've read that listening to white noise may help tinnitus in short term, but worsen it in long term, and now I am worried, although this sounds really help me... Just worried...

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  2 роки тому +7

      This is not white noise, but rather a soundscape that has a wide range of frequencies used. Sound therapy generally can help tinnitus, and while some people prefer white noise, sounds like in this video can helpful as well.

      @treblehealth  11 місяців тому +1

      We're so sorry that is happening as that definitely would not be relaxing. Unfortunately, we don't have control over the commercials. There is an app called ReSound Tinnitus Relief that has many sound therapy options without commercials. :)

      I'm thinking it is not you or youtube. This just started about two or three weeks ago and it is always the same. I think I have an issue with my internet being subject to commercializing virus of some kind. It is always the same commercial at the same time 4:15 am. BUT when I use my Cell phones internet it does not happen. So, I guess I need to contact my internet provider and find out if I have a virus.

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  Рік тому +2

      The sound system you use is up to you :) anything that helps YOU. You can listen with headphones, with speakers, hearing aids, etc.
      The duration of sound therapy for tinnitus can vary depending on the individual and the severity of their tinnitus. Some people may find relief from tinnitus symptoms after just a few sessions of sound therapy, while others may need to continue the therapy for a longer period of time to achieve significant improvement.
      The length of treatment can also depend on the type of sound therapy being used. For example, if a person is using a sound machine or white noise generator to help them sleep at night, they may continue to use the device as long as it remains helpful.
      If you start to experience worsening of your tinnitus, try switching sounds. For instance, going from cricket sounds to pink noise. Hope this helps!
