  • This video has been a long time coming. Ever since I saw the media try to use Kobes death in MVP narratives I very seldomly watched ESPN and over the past few months I've completely stopped watching all together. Hope this video is a good explanation why. Thanks for watching.

A jury of six white women and two white men basically said that Rose was A VICTIM of an extortion attempt.
One juror said after the trial that the accuser "was trying to play us."
Following the trial it was clear that the extortionist was banking on Rose offering her a settlement instead of getting more bad press than he was receiving from racist in Chicago media & their ESPN minions.
Rose said that he wasn't giving her a Penney & took her and the press head on.
That's what innocent men & women do!

I miss the good ole days with just sports and SportsCenter. You had men and women who covered the game everyday and knew about history and context. I also think that they need to limit the amount of former players on shows. Just because you played doesn't automatically mean you're knowledgeable or can articulate your point of view.

Pardon The Interruption is great for that. Tony and Mike are old school, they just talk about sports and keep it professional. They don't try to make headlines with hot takes or overtly disrepecting players. They just tell the facts. They're not as popular as FT or other shows, but there's a reason why they've been on air for almost 20 years and have a multitude of Emmy's.

@@coolbreeze369jc well when he stands for BLM a Marxist organization and the reason for the divide in this country right now yeah there is lots of reasons for not liking him.
As a player he is a great, but his stands in his social image, is pathetic. Yes police brutality is real and that should be talked about but not by BLM that organization is fear mongering party. MLK would never support BLM. BLM = Modern Black Panthers, if you don't believe me, read their business statement and compare that to the Panther's manifesto, the similarities are scary.
BLM has nothing do with police brutality, it has everything to do with anarchy and overthrowing the current government and replacing our capitalist system with a marxist society.
Just ask yourself if anyone supports Marxism, why don't they give their salary outside living expenses, give it all away, Let them do that and then talk about it, they won't they are unwilling to do that because they are hypocrites. They want the people that do the work in this country to make this country the best it is, to be controlled by a Marxist party. That is what they want, they want control.
Shit I would love to find out the average salary of BLM members and supports, cause if they are making 50k a year, they sure wouldn't be doing what they are doing, the problem is they don't want to work for their money they want others to give them handouts so they can leech of the rest of us.

nothing wrong with what they're doing but they hurt themselves when they attempt to compare these guys to jordan. Lebron has done well for himself and the NBA should just let the kid stand on his own merits without the comparisons.

And if you keep this constant conversation about "Jordan vs LeBron....who's the Goat" It's the league and the network's own fault. Because so many of us believe this is such a flawed comparison. So then the push back is coming, and true fans that are students of the game are not going to sit still and let that BS slide. There is a wonderful crop of incredible young talent coming into the league every year. But the spotlight will never find them unless the league fines a way to squash this constant debate involving LeBron and a player that retired in 2003. I don't know what that looks like but they need to do something, I do know It's time to stop beating a dead horse.

Great video. These Bron groupies are beyond pathetic, they have no shame whatsoever. Just look at them & who they cape for (LBJ), then look at the players they go against or try to discredit. MJ/Curry/Kawhi/KD etc they all have an agenda, that’s to make LBJ look good while discrediting his “rivals”. They did the same to Kobe until he passed. Which is ironic bc Rachel would try to diminish what Kobe did in his career but is now using his death to boost up LBJ’s MVP chances. It truly is disgusting. She also said how you can split up the 90’s Bulls teams & that they can still make several superteams out of those players. Once again trying to prop up MJ’s teammates to discredit him. Jay Will’s mannerisms annoys the hell out of me. Dude acts & talks like his takes are credible. The nerve of this guy to say covid 19 should increase LBJ’s chances of winning MVP. It just shows you how LBJ literally has no case to win. The fact that they have to come up with some arguments which most have no relation to the actual game of basketball shows he has no legitimate case to win. All hype & media driven. Can you imagine if the roles were reversed & it was AD who promised “playoff mode” last year only to go 3-12 & missed the playoffs. Then LBJ comes in & drastically changes the entire team defensively, top of the West, leading the team in almost every major category. You think these LBJ fans are gonna say “yea man AD deserves MVP”? Hell naw, them fools would be screaming LBJ is MVP. Worst fan base ever.

The Lakers could win a game by 90 points and Lebron stat is 10pts, 7 rebounds and 8 assist and ESPN would be like " Lebron took over for the Lakers" while AD went for 99 pts, 40 rebounds and 15 assist. The Lakers could lose by 2 points and Lebron scores 50 pts and ESPN would also be like " Lebrons goes for 50 but he needs help". That's why ppl don't fuck with ESPN like that.

This the same thing that has happened to food and pop music. When companies and artistsare getting precise data points showing exactly what draws eyes and ears to your product, you just try to “rinse and repeat” as much as possible. All the songs sound increasingly similar, the discussion topics are the same, and food is designed to scientifically cause us to crave more and more of those same tastes.
A smart business no longer thinks of the perfect product- but the product that perfectly grabs the attention of the consumer.

great video, only thing I will slightly disagree on is the 97 bulls take, that team is super underrated and I believe you absolutely can make a case for them being the best team ever, the numbers are almost identical to the 96 season, the overall quality of teams in the east were much better in the 97 season, now Rodman and kukoc did miss some games in the regular season due to minor injuries but come playoff time it wasn't much difference than the 96 team to me, then mov was smaller in 97 because they played tougher competition overall than the 96 east playoffs, 72 wins compared to 69, to me 96 and the 97 teams are basically about even and most people say the 96 team is one of the best ever, so I have no issues with the 97 team being one of the best teams ever...just my opinion
