87mm Throttle body & Spacer upgrade/Dodge Challenger Scatpack

I really enjoy filming these car mod videos so let me know some ideas of what you would like to see next! I purchased the 87mm CNC ported throttle body and the Airade power aid throttle body spacer and both items together made a big difference in torque and throttle response swell as MPG on the highway.

Good video, I have a 2019 Scat with hellcat air box, and filter, with catch can, Glad to here that new throttle Body was more responsive, I have noticed that the stock has lag, and I feel that Mod is what I will do next.

yeah man it improves a lot off the jump much better response and also I just drove to cali from AZ and in eco drive mode I actually gained about 5 miles to the gallon! I usually was at 18mpg and I was at 22.5 now

CJeremy you need to change out your air filter also. The stock Scat Pack air filter flows about 740 cfm, but the Hellcat air filter flows about 1000 cfm. It was a Mahle Air filter.

Plug n play should be just fine. Calibration of the upgraded throttle isn't difficult. Tune may be required if things get quirky.

Will this upgrade void warranty? Right now I’m just interested in the spacer. My car is still practically brand new with 102 miles. I’m thinking maybe I should wait till at least a little bit after the break in period before adding any more upgrades 9:51

TB Is always good, if even not brings any gains, but the spacer is wrong way to go. Never decrease the intake tube diameter, unless You are 100% sure what You want to achieve (air velocity i.e.)

I am also not shure what the spacer should do. It just reduces the diameter wich cant be good. My scat runs with a 85mm tb pretty well.

It should be called air spinner or something, so it basically gives you a better throttle response and a little whistle sound.

Would a hellcat TB help with gas mileage on a 6.4 hemi? It’s a 2020 charger Scatpack

I heard a lot of people says hellcat throttle body would be to much for a 6.4 so that’s why I went with the 87mm and It did improve the mpg but I’m sure you could go with a 90mm and be perfect! The 95 would just be to much I believe

Hellcat TB is to big for the 6.4 will bog, They are a 90mm for supercharger flow

I dont wanna be a jackass at all; But on my hemi I literally sanded my throttle body for maybe 5 hrs while watching UA-cam then I polished it and I have a K&N cold air intake with a airaide throttle body spacer, and I picked up 18 hp on the dyno; If u notice the throttle body they send u is an oem fit to the intake manifold with just a ported interior. Just trying to help others save $400

Disconnect the negative battery terminal for 5 mins reattach then If you put the car in run without starting it depress and release the gas pedal slowly 3 times the computer syncs the TB with the gas peddle.
