@@durstroyer3924 hahahahahahhahahahaha thanks buddy . I have the Grandsport 2019 with afe intake . Maybe I should take it to the dyno 😉 I also have headers and x pipe from speedengeneering. You think I should have a tune ?
Lot's of people asking for dyno results. I recently installed this box and filter. Saw an increase of 5hp @ 3500rpm on first pull. 2nd pull 6hp, 3rd pull 4hp. I have a 5.7 RT and drawing air in from the headlamp. Dyno is one thing but the difference shows up when the hood is shut and it draws cold air from the outside and not from a hot engine bay. My 0-60 went from 5.4 to 5.1
Possibly, I'd contact AFE directly and see what they say if you're unsure. I never did any cold air intake stuff when I had the A5 for the short time I did.

What are these numbers based on??? There have been quite a few AFE Customers that have purchased this system and have said there were no noticable gains! In fact one Scat Pack owner had posted a DIY UA-cam VIDEO before an after and have said that his motor felt restricted in some way?! So instead I went with the K&N performance intake system and noticed a lot of different things right off the bat. For starters it's way more peppier and quick off the line with noticeable interior resonance sounds. I can tell she breathes much better now coupled with my ported upper and lower intake manifolds and 80mm throttle body! She really gets a lot of air and as you may know that translates to horse power! I got an extra 30 horses with the ported set up. And I'm sure I've picked up an additional 20 with the K&N system.
Looking back now 4 years, what would you recommend in the way of a cold-air intake for a 2022 Dodge Charger GT (V6) at this point? We are looking to pull the trigger at the end of Summer. Thanks!
It's been some time since you've posted this video. I'm hoping that you've got a chance to get a dyno because I'm curious to know if the claims on the box are really true or if it's to reel us in to buy it.

Getting the rubber coupler connected to the plastic tube was fun for sure!! But I noticed you didn't show that air temp sensor part too well....??? Did you struggle as badly as I did to get the little bushing in the rubber grommet???? And what about the o-ring on the sensor itself???? We're you able to use it???? I had to remove it before I could get the sensor to go in.... Great vid buddy!!
Yeah, I got rid of the little rubber ring on the sensor. Forgot to mention that. All in all easy install if you have a good idea of your cars components.

Idk man. This box gives more airflow and has a better designed filter and tube to the throttle body. The hellcat box isn't very big and has a pretty small tube! This also uses the outside headlight tube just like the hellcat box. I'd think more air and bigger box would make it better.
It definitely looks nice and makes the engine bay look less stock. However, IDK if it's truly worth $375-450 depending where you get it and if it's on sale. I got mine on sale for black Friday and saved a bit. I still haven't made it to the dyno. I'm getting a second car very soon and going to start adding power to the challenger. I’ve hd the same experience with CAI’s on other projects. The CPU takes a little time to adjust the vehicles tuning to the new air flow.
Do you need to have the hellcat front light air hole to use that air intake, Or can you use it without it?
It comes with a plug for the side of the box so you can close off the box. You don't have to use the headlight hole.
