Excellent video. Very clear and concise. Saved me a lot of downtime, as well as money. Thank you!
Just ripped this boot yesterday and was debating taking it in or doing it myself. After watching your video gonna do it myself, thanks for a very well done video.

Will definitely watch your other videos to do more in-depth work on my 2007 KingQuad 700. The King and I will appreciate it! ;)

Thank you for your video, very helpful and informative, especially about the grooved coupling possibly causing clicking noises. I suspect this to occur even if boots look good. Happy New Year.
Appreciate the comment!!
Thanks
Heck yea. Happy to help!
Thank You for this video! Cheers!!
Thanks for the post. I'll be back........
Great Job!
excellent video
I've purchased these tools a few years ago after watching your video. I've not had any boots replacements since but I'm doing a caliper swap instead of trying to pull these pistons out of the Kawasaki Prairie 360..It's a 2005 model. So if you could make a video on that portion that would be awesome
Super
Excellent

I found a clip like that in my driveway where the wheeler is primarily parked. Is there another clip used like that on the King Quad? All my boots are intact and it only has 39 miles on it.
I just noticed that my two inner boots on the rear axel are completely ripped, what causes this and is there a way to avoid it happening again?
Excellent video - Do you have a video on replacing the cylinder top end?
I’ve got some motor videos coming up!! Keep an eye out for them. Thanks.
Do you need to replace it a certain way like is there a top and bottom or a pacific way it need to go back in ?
Great video. Totally unrelated question for you. My 96 king quad eats starter relays, I would like to have just a toggle switch to turn it off and on. I only use it on the mini farm. Can that be done I don't need lights or any thing like that.
Thank you for your help in this.
Oh yea, easy process. Just have to pull the speedo pod and get that switch pulled out. You can just cap off the light wires and use the on/off wires. Although, I'm curious how you think this will fix the relay issues. Talk to me about your thought process there. Thanks for watching Norm.
This video is perfect, thank you! But I have one question, can reuse the bands that are on it already?
unfortunately on this style the bands can't be reused and be tight enough to hold the grease in and dirt and grime out. Thanks for watching
Is it the disassemble procedure for the outer boot?
Are you suppose to grease up the teeth on the wheel end of the shaft and/or the smooth surfaces inside the knuckle?
E H yeah that’s what I do, it won’t hurt it, it is good for protection from water so it will last longer
Can you confirm if it is a 1 3/16 or 1 1/16 castle nut holding the hub on?
Really thurough video, I have four ripped boots, on the rear inner I can move the cup there up and down a decent amount..
How can I diagnose bad CVshaft without driving the wheeler?
I ask because my clutch is messed up, if I hold up on the shift pedal it goes fine, what does that mean?
You got it I'll tell my friends about your channel too!
Is there not a torque value for that axel nut?
Any way i can contact you about my fourwheeler? I need some help
Hi I just ordered both the front left and right cv axles. Are they interchangeable or is there a way to tell the left from right side?
@@MidNebraskaMotorsports I bought them off ebay it's a Chinese no named brand. I think I'm just going to return them. They were under 100 for both
@@MidNebraskaMotorsports thank you for your response and your amazing videos
How do I know if the joint is still good or not?
Bought mine with the boot already ripped and I don’t know how long it’s been like that...
@@MidNebraskaMotorsports I just received a brand new stock front axle for my KQ 750 and the outer joint catches sometimes when I move it around ... you're saying my brand new $300 axle is defective?
The front CV boat
Hi just need a bit of info i have a king quad 700 2005 both my rear shafts have a bit of movement up and down is it normal or are bearings in diff shot?
Going into the diff? Or in the actual joint itself? No clicking? If the joint is bad, it will make some serious clicking noises. Let me know what you find? Thanks for the question! Hit the subscribe button as we have a lot more videos coming out on this machine. Also, check us out at www.midnebraskamotorsports.com/
I took my hub assembly off. the bearings inside of that do, they go bad? cuz I'm hearing a clicking when I turn to the left as I'm moving would that be inside that assembly or would that be inside my axle? bearings
Do I need the clamp tool or not ?
No not really be a handy thing to have but not mandatory
Wouldn't you think if one boot is ripped that the other one is probably close to the end of its life? I would think if I had to replace one, I should replace them both, no?
@@MidNebraskaMotorsports The boots on my 01 Honda Forman are full of tiny cracks like dry rot. I just assumed they all look that way after a few years of use.
@@Robert08010 I find in my atv the boots are only like 20 bucks cheaper then the whole new axle so it's not worth it to repair
The balls seam to fall out every time, be nice if you showed how to put them back in, never figured out how they fell out
YOU PUT THE STRAPS ON BACKWARDS!
