I loved that you used your own tracks, your sound quality is actually awesome. I would never imagine to use that saturation along with an automation to make that 808 being so alive. Also loved the video really original. I can imagine how fun was bringin up those big speakrs in to the dessert and disrespect all those snakes, lizards and scorpions with those 808! Like fire? Hey Reid, so do you not gain stage your bass throughout your plug-in chain? Also are you adding a limiter at the end or just letting it clip and bringing down the channel level?
I reduce the channel levels and don’t worry about clipping because it sounds cool in Ableton

I agree the mixer design is garbage in Ableton, however even if they improved it, many people would still never use it… All your important mixing controls are easily accessible from the timeline window.
