this seems like a great idea, one of the greatest things about the electric laryanx is its simplicity, this seems to complicate the device more but seems to have enough improvement value to justify It, very cool
And to stop sounding like a robot. 🤖. But kudos to the scientists. They are working hard. I had a patient who uses an ipad she just typed the word and the ipad has an application on a voice. I also think. Is there a way of a larynx transplant or sth I don’t know if that’s something the medics have considered as a solution.
The electrolarynx should be able to take the information of the sound from the person speaking and then output it almost like text to speech in real time. With the natural sounding tts thats available nowadays, it would eliminate that robotic voice and buzzing sound issue.
I would really like to be able to purchase such equipment. I have a laryngectomy and you can't imagine the discomfort of always having to wear the electrolarynx on my neck to speak. If it were something fixed like this device, it would be wonderful.
Почему источник звука нельзя вшить в горло!? Неужели это так сложно!? Кардиостимуляторы ведь вшивают под кожу. В каком то неправильном направлении учёные идут. Нужно что-то другое, совершенно инновационное...
