    26:10 if anyone is wondering about the references... liquid black is used in various episodes, a jizz of mayonnaise is from the pre-packaged sandwich episode, the horse semen is from the butter episode, bacon is self-explanatory, strong marcus is in the sprinkles episode, the cocoa beans are from the chocolate episode, the x12 mega revolver is from the crayons episode, the chocolate and mint part is probably from the chocolate mint episode but to be honest i cant be bothered to check that one, worcestershire sauce is also self-explanatory, the brownies get yelled at at the end of the chocolate chip cookies episode, and the last reference he explicitly says is from the cheesecake episode.

    Something of note: One reason why people aren't required to use gloves when handling food is because wearers forget to wash/replace the gloves. Gloves don't protect the consumer, only the wearer, but people don't feel as compelled to wash their gloves as they would their hands. Gloves are cleaner on paper, but people without gloves wash their hands so much that it's more sanitary to go without them.

    • @BetaDude40
      @BetaDude40 5 місяців тому +321

      It depends on the stage of food prep they're in and what they're doing. Your average chef doesn't wear gloves for that reason, but other applications where cross-contamination can be a risk require workers to not only wear gloves but also frequently replace them. As you said it's more to protect the wearer, but it's good practice to toss and recycle the gloves between each job you're doing.
