  • Thousands of these swags out there in Australia. If you have one of these swags or a brand similar, this hack will fix the sagging sides. I had this up years ago on my old channel so thought I would get the info out there again. 2x extendable crab claw poles and a couple of shock Locs from Shady Gear.

It's a great idea for any swag really. We've been doing this with our Darche for about a year now.
We love your content, keep the videos coming, my husband says. 😊

Always good to see your reviews Buck. I use half a length of pool noodle tied to the ties in the centre of the internal roof . Just tie it up and turn it sideways. Costs about $2. Works a treat and you don’t have to crawl under another pole.

Good clip Buck like you said doesn't matter what you got for camping just get out and do it

It does work better too than occy straps etc however the only thing you’ve got to remember is don’t OVER stretch the sides otherwise you’ll have issues with the zippers trying to claw their way shut.
Great clip Buck as always bud. 👍

Hey Buck, I remember you demonstrating this method with the two extender poles on your old channel. It is a good idea. The problem with the three loop system for swags is the exiting of the swag, trying to swing your legs out can be a real bitch, even for short arse like me lol.

Thanks for the info. It will help with my new Swag. Am just testing water proofing, confort and different methods of stopping side sag at the moment. Is set up in the back yard in Southern Vic. Hoping for rain lol.

I've got 3 fridges, one is a Kings 75ltr duel zone. Hasn't been turned off in nearly 8 years, beaten to hell and back and still works better than my bloody Engel's that are only 2 years old. Go figure.

Thanks for the tip legend. Looks good. Cheaper option is to use 25mm poly cut as a semi circle, joined with hand made dowl and prop it up inside going through the centre tie cord. Some ozzi bloke did a UA-cam on it a few yrs ago. Good onya buck

There’s a home made camper trailer here at the campground the trailer is made from a Mazda alloy Ute tray it has a Kings roof top swag and a kings fold out awning over the top of that to keep the rain off.
    Absolutely brilliant .

Well done, I agree with Phil I've got a few kings sleeping bags and they are very good. I spent a lot of money on a top level Coleman bag and I think the kings one is better. Especially the zip out lining. Nothing wrong with alot of their gear. Cheers mate.

Good clip Buck, like you said just get out there and camp doesn't matter what name is on it, Another good way to season the swag is in the bath tub and drown it

Two extra pieces of rope and pegs either end would probably work, too. A lot cheaper than $120.

Yes it does but not as good. As stated the poles give the swag structure. I am hoping to find crab claw poles that are cheaper.

Depending on what stuff you get from Adventure Kings, it's a hit and miss. I bought a heap of stuff from Kings. But I have their gazebo, and the frames are much sturdy albeit heavy than more expensive ones in the market. This thing can withstand anything! Only thing that needs changing after a couple of years is the roof.
The only problem I have with cheap Adventure Kings is that they are so cheap that a number of people out there just chuck them in the bin after first use because they could always get another one cheap. Not good for land fill.
