Jesus Christ! WTF! 🤔
Great cook up Buck! It bought back some good memories of my childhood. 🙂 Kiwis call them Cherrios or Little Boys as well. Dad would cook this for us with just the Beans and Cherrios in a Camp Oven over a fire dished up with buttered slices of Damper when we were out Hunting or Fishing. We called it Baked Beans n Sausages. I will have to get the Grandkids to cook this on our next camping adventure. 😋🙂👍
Great clip Buck, looks delicious I’ll definitely be giving this one a go.
See you later Buck, off to work..🐕❤️🇦🇺🦘
Great clip Buck, great advice mate
I hope you & and your family are staying safe in the storm.
All good thanks mate
Great video young Buck. Mate I have something to add. Put anything you don't want wet in a sealed bag. In case you put your vehicle on its lid. I've had it happen to me twice . One in water. The second time on a dirt road & fuel ran out over me & my first aid kit.
Remind me never to go 4wd'ing with you please mate🤣
@Mrbuckaroonie.. that was many moon's ago in my Suzuki Sierra with 10" of lift . It was fun but the centre of gravity was shite.
@@dawayneduffy3509 🤣😂
Hi Buck, great clip. I have a trauma kit in the canopy and a smaller all-rounder in the van. The cut-kit in one bag is a great idea. Betadine is used for cleaning skin, not wounds as it kills the epithelial cells that want to grow back skin - Dettol is a ditto. Buscopan is a must as I suffer from micro-crystalline cholecystitis (no gallstones, just sludge), which is largely diet controlled, but also good for lower back spasms (I am old). You can take Ibuprofen and Panadol together but Ibuprofen is contraindicated with oral Voltaren (Diclofenac). Panadol and oral Voltaren together is OK. As I now live and work (as a remote Rupert) on the road, I discussed a med kit with my lovely GP. She gave me a script for Amoxicillin in case of tooth abscess and Melobic 15mg - which is stronger than Panadol. Aspirin should only be taken for 'fever' or a high temperature where you feel clammy and visibly shake. I also carry DermAid which is 0.5% Hydrocortisone for 'bad' insect bites. Imodium is ideal for stopping the runs. Stemetil is good for dizziness or vertigo. Maxolon is a 'gastric dumper' for severe nausea, generally from food poisoning (script needed).
Cheers Stu. You are all over it mate.
@@Mrbuckaroonie.. Just more advice for the viewers 👍
AN essential part of a Travellers kit...Never put yourself out there , Not giving yourself any chance.🐍🕷
Great clip Buck, I don't even have a snake bite kit, will be getting one asap.
50 gig would be more than enough!
A 50GB data plan will allow you to browse the internet for about 500 hours, stream 25,000 songs, or watch 63 hours of standard-definition video.
@ I will give it a go mate
Great clip buck ,after January camping trips its was a great reminder to check and restock.
Yeah this was just a reminder for people.
Triangular Bandages that should have read.
First Aid Book, Tic Remover, Thermal Blanket, Tri0angular Bandages. Great reminder for everyone to check their Kits and use by Dates. Cheers Buck.
Yeah I have several triangular bandages. I think there are 2 or three in the snake bite kit.
Good point on ticks mate. I am getting a good set of tweezers today and a few other things from the pharmacy. New eye wash is one of them.
Thanks Buck , great reminder clip . Ordered some of those bandages great idea and good for dog injuries . Think about disposable mask and glasses for CPR if you need to assist someone else . Keep ‘em coming ! 👍👍🍻🍻
A signal flare, or electronic strobe, signal mirror should all be part of your emergency first aid kid. If they can not find you they can not help.
What a great video. Will get myself some of that self adhesive purple stuff. Out of everything you talk about on the channel, I'm listening to the first aid given your army experience...Got my old field dressing too somewhere. Not many youtubers being realistic about medications when folks plan for camping trips. Cheers Buck.
Cheers mate
Raffa hanging with Dad 😊
He always does mate.
Yes, great reality check for us. Those bandages are cohesive bandages. We always had them in our horse first aid kit. I was going to add a PLB (Personal Locater Beacon) especially when remote, might be expensive but nowhere near the price of a life! Antihistamines & some white vinegar maybe?
Good message Buck
Great episode Buck, you crack me up.
That was a serious one mate.
LifeVac Australia: Anti Choking Device
Awesome episode Buck👍 Folks also don't forget something to treat bites from the stingers at the beach & some microlax 💩 basically 🎇fireworks for ya bum😜 treats chronic constipation 🙏
I use the natuaral stuff mate. Chilli!!!!🤣
Can I add Trauma Sheers, Tweezers & Eye Pads. A Small pocket AA Battery Torch is helpful for getting spinters out too. But a pretty inclusive kit that covers most areas needed for first aid. A check of expiry dates on boxes helps too.
Cheers mate
If you're solo and you get bit by a snake you're pretty much dead anyway. Most places i go there is no phone reception, so you'd have to drive yourself out, which means pumping the venom through your body.
Yeah scary thought mate. I had some close calls in the Army and I was in the middle of nowhere.
Gday buck, my mrs sells that self athesive wrap. Its called rip wrap. Its used in horse world. Great stuff and theirs a wrap the same but with a sticky back, and yes it works as i put the wrong wrap on my leg and yes it works like wax.
If you had of come and seen me 60 years ago l could of taught you alot. Sanitary pads are a perfect choice to keep in your first aid kit. I remember when l was 16 l ripped my inner arm open and the first aider stuck a sanitary pad over it until l got to hospital. Stopped the bleeding and ended up with 40 stitches with no damage to major vessels and muscles 😊😊😊
Thanks buck will be going out to go through my first aid kit tomorrow 🙌 👍 👌
Nice one Buck, the only thing that you could add is a Sharpe pen to circle the bit mark.
There is one in the snake kit mate. I just didn't show it.
Great info mate , burn spray is also a must 👍🍺
I used to have burn gel. I will get more. Cheers mate.
Great info Buck! I reckon if you are remote.... maybe a distress marker strobe light for signalling aircraft at night and an army style bright coloured panel marker for day time. Cheers
Great clip buddy, did mine awhile ago, just ordered some sticky bandages from ebay
They are good mate. You could use them as a snake bandage as well just by themself.
Thanks for your content. Cheers mate 🍻
Yes buck absolutely a must and in my job I'm at Risk every day. A snake bite kit and a PLB.
You got that right you are simple.
Cool Ep and great advise Mr Rogers. I must give ours a once over ,
Thanks for the video Buck great safety message and reminder 👍 Raffa was directing from under the BT 50 🤣
Yeah he is always around somewhere when I am filming.
Great timing Buck! Thanks gor the reminder. I used a couple of bandages helping someone who cut themselves New Years Eve when out camping. Havent replaced them yet. A stocktake of all our First Aid and Snake Bite kits need to be done. Will get onto it tomorrow! 🙂👍
Battered jam sandwiches 😂
Never thought of it that way but Yes, that is exactly what they are and they are bloody nice.
Bit wet overnight, Buck. 116mm Monday night, Tuesday morning at Innisfail.
Yeah nothing out of the ordinary mate so far. We often get this type of rain but this is set in by the looks.
i think you find its 240 into the brick ,then 12v out to the cable 😀so on the reel is ok
gday Buck and Gidgee I bloody love you two together. Absolutely great rapport between you blokes. I would have loved to see you two in your hey day with cricket and especially league. Love your cook ups. Keep it comin boys
Mate in junior footy, Gidgee would hit the ball up and their whole forward pack would jump on him and he would drag them for miles before they got him on the ground. Geez it was funny to see. Not to mention he was lightning quick with a cricket ball.
Finally got some broth and cooking these bad boys tonight Buck. Thanks Wicksy !! 🔥🍺🙏
Hey Buck, with the Mini disk it has a different angle of trasmission/recieving over the old series 2 model this is why it will pickup when mouneted flat.
Yeah had it flat yesterday on the roofrack mate and it locked on real quick.
You're quick with your bullsh!t assumptions! We've just bought a new Journey Outback. It came with solar and an AGM battery. Which we had them upgrade. We didn't want the D035 hitch and had an ALKO off road coupling fitted. They come with the tap on the drawbar as standard. So maybe get your facts right before spinning your cr@p.
Hello Mr Buck Put it on your roof.
Yeah there will be times it will go on the roof.
best solution with a Kings swag is save just a tiny bit more and don’t buy one! best solution ever 👍
@@garytrigg-graynoth4034 Not everyone can afford $600 for a Darche swag which are still out of China.
@ agree, but theres better out there for a little amount more. Kings is below budget with all their gear and mist of my mates that have had it throw it out after 4-5 trips. spending $300 on a swag that will last is better than $99 on junk that will end up in land fill. All that glistens is gold😂
@@garytrigg-graynoth4034 I don't have the swag anymore. Got a van and an RV5 Oztent. I get a bit claustrophobic in swags. Feels like I am in a coffin. 🤣
@ 😂
@@Mrbuckaroonie.. they can do, its hard to go past a tent that you can at least kneel in to get dressed whereas a swag it’s either laying down or standing out side of the swag. I had a traditional swag but have moved up to a darche dirty dee 1400, its a bit more but the extra space you get is awesome! Had the darche stretcher as a birthday present from the wife which as a combo really works as you not getting of the ground to get dressed, just swing those legs out and your off😂 have found that the more you spend the quicker your setup tends to be and the longer lasting it is but also resale tends to hold its price. I think the Kings gear is aimed at the younger generation but what they don’t realise is thats it’s 💩 gear, ah well life’s a btch and then you wake up soaked after a nights rain in a Kings swag😂😂😂😂😂👍
Lay the mini flat on the ground to see what happens.
