    Always loved the SMASHES shirt that says, “Live Tour 89’’….which we know was never planned and became the Paul Solo Tour. Even cooler was the Paul shirt that said the “One Night Stand” blurb on the back, written with the “S” font….super cool. Love your investigation into the show. Very cool score. Great video. Take care.

    I love Kiss just as much as you and i know that ''Hide Your Heart'' was actually set to be on the ''Crazy Night'' LP (1987) just like ''Sword & Stone'' and ''Time Traveler''. Can you imagine the album with those songs in it? Anyway, it makes perfect sense that ''Hide Your Heart'' is the song in this footage as it was already written before the creation of ''Hot In The Shade'' in 89. Ace Frehley, Robin Beck, Bonnie Tyler and Molly Hatchet actually sang it on their respective albums at the time. The song (cowritten with Desmond Child & Holy Knight) is an important one in the Paul Stanley catalog.

    • @kissarmythings
      @kissarmythings  Рік тому

      Wow, I would have loved Crazy Nights with those songs on it! Hahaha. Which version of Hide Your Heart is your favorite? I actually really liked Ace's but the KISS version is still my favorite \m/

      @@kissarmythings Thank you for your interest in my opinion! The Kiss version is my favorite even though I love them all! I really liked Ace's version, but Molly Hatchet's version pleasantly surprised me. Robin Beck and Bonnie Tyler's versions are surprisingly the rockiest! but Paul's voice is unique... so his version wins! I'm a huge fan of Desmond Child (who wrote so many hits it's getting ridiculous). Anything he composes with Paul Stanley is a musical miracle for me (I Was Made For Loving You, Heaven's On Fire, Let's Put The X In Sex, Reason To Live, Uh, All Night!, Live To Win, Who Wants To Be Lonely, My Way, Hide Your Heart...) ! As for Holy Knight, she is a rare woman in the industry who has written so many incredible hits (with the exception of Diane Warren). She is as talented as she is pretty! I adore her just as much as Desmond. You can imagine that a tag team between Paul, Desmond Child and Holy Knight is worthy, for me, of a biblical psalm! The result is "Hide Your Heart". The album ''Crazy Night'' is my favorite in addition to being the one that frustrates me the most! As mentioned before, ''Time Traveler'' and ''Sword & Stone'' are not even listed and they are my 2 favorite Kiss songs! The producer Ron Nevison judged that they did not go with the theme of the LP... I know that Bruce Kulick was very sad about this cut. I'll let you guess who co-composed these songs... You got it: Desmond Child. With the incredible patience and talent you have in piecing together the history of Kiss, I practically want to beg you to improve the sound of the demos of ''Sword & Stone'', ''Hide Your Heart'' and ''Time Traveler'' and to put them back on the ''Crazy Nights'' album. The 1987 demo of ''Hide Your Heart'' is way more heavy. I know, i know... you are not a magician but a fan can dream, no? :):):) keep up the incredible and creative work!

    Man I thought I was a long time KISS nut lol ...is there any live footage of ACE when he had that raygun prop in 79 ? That from the looks of it shot fireworks or something ? And we're the shoulder horn things Gene wore on the cover of HtH the same ones he wore briefly in 77 with his Love Gun era costume? I've always had these questions and I think there's a slim chance you might know ...if not sorry for the stupid questions lol.

I think this video is missing 1 or 2 songs but it's the most complete I could find. I don't have the time right now to skip through, but definitely let me know if you find it.
