You and me both!
Hi from Leicestershire UK , Great video guys, we where in the Flinders 3 years ago albeit in a 4 wheel drive which was fun although it broke down in Hawker with alternator failure. We will be back once this madness is over and we are allowed to travel... Keep up the great work ;)
Thanks so much love all the Videos love that 701 again great work Life is short buy a bike and enjoy Life
Glad you like them!
Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦. Great to you both out for a spin. Congratulations on the new magazine roles. I'll be checking it out. We are currently in lock down. Can't wait to get out into adventure land. Cheers 🍻

Awesome job Dave and Clubbie.... beautiful

Excellent video, rode and caravaned through there a few years ago, beautiful country and brought back wonderful memories. Looking forward to you two producing great footage and story's with the magazine and and MAD tv, all the best.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Well done, great drone scenes. Looking forward to watching more. 👍🏼 😎 🇺🇸 🌎
More to come! crf300 Rally test and then Cairns to Darwin on 701s in a couple of weeks.
T7 from Madrid, congrats on the channel, think I saw all the videos, the ones with the suzukis and the friends through the rivers are one of the best 10 adventure videos on all UA-cam
Glad you like them!
Another great film with fabulous cinematography. Thanks for taking the time to make post this online. A great showcase for Australian countryside and motorcycling.
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you gents. We just spoke of this trip less than 12 hours ago. Thanks for the leg work. Cheers.
Our pleasure!
Love the channel! Im a T7 rider from Colorado...and hopefully we'll see more from Nick soon! Cheers.
Nic is still doing things, but covid is clippping his wings at present.
Always great to watch you ride and experience your country. We have quite different type of riding here in Canada. We do have real mountains.
Yep, we don't have real mountains :)
Great ride report of your Adventureland Outback in the Flinders Mountain Range! Beautiful mountains and nice trails to ride. The 701 seems to be an excellent machine. It will be interesting to see your all’s long ride on them soon. Ride safe mate and watch out for the kangaroos!
Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah not long now before we fly up. Bikes are on their way by truck as we speak.
Thanks for the video. 17 of us heading there next month from Northeast Victoria. Looking forward to it.
Hope you enjoy it!
...woofer valve...That'a a new one. Fantastic video, thanks.
Glad you liked it!
Wonderful country you have.
We are very fortunate.
Fantastic video guys! Can’t wait for the Darwin feature.
Congratulations on the editor’s position too mate. You’ll be an awesome addition to the team.
Can't wait!
Very good Dave I now have the Flinders Rangers on my bucket list.
We've succeeded
Another great video Dave, good stuff mate.
Glad you enjoyed it
I'm Ready!.. Beer is in the fridge!... And cooling down 🍺😁👍
Oh yeah!
I am heading to the Flinders from Perth with a few mates next month. Some good tracks to add to the itinerary but wasn't sure of that last one to Hawker, it looked great. Thanks for the awesome content, I always look forward to the next one.
Have a great trip
Great adventure, stunning views!
It was, but I am surprised the video hasn't done very well.
Hopefully it will.
Great riding fellas!
It’s a good idea seeing two different sized bikes ride the Flinders and hearing your thoughts on both.
Glad you enjoyed it
Magnificent riding country and so similar to large parts of SA.Was on my 2020 690 yesterday and was reminded just how smooth that quickshifter is.Cheers.
Couldn't agree more!
So stoked to see you're video after ages!
Love from India mate!!
More to come!
That Tenere is a beauty.
Look mean in black.
Brilliant film guys, love it!
I wish more people would!
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV sounds like a collaboration opportunity to me :-)
Great video as always...well done
Thank you! Cheers!
Fantastic...The Flinders is a great place but a long way from home.
Indeed!
Hello from Scotland.........Always a joy watching a new MADTV video 👌🏽😎
Thanks 👍 . some ineresting stuff to come this year.
Another great vid, well done 🎥🏍👌
Glad you enjoyed it
I like the semi desert, the scenery and the roads. It s the same as where i m grow up in north west namibiea, Damaraland.
Ah interesting
I don't ride, but I do enjoy your videos. Cheers from Idaho USA.
Welcome aboard! We cover great country. If you like this be sure to come back around late June when we'll be posting the Tropical North video. Very interesting country.
Can’t wait. I’ve literally just been granted a leave pass from the minister of war & finance. Heading for the flinders later this month!!!
Looks great this time of year.
You lucky sod👊
I really enjoyed your Flinders Ranges adventure. It's amazing country, so well captured in your video. Sorry that you missed out on the road kill cafe at the Prairie Hotel, Parachilna - it's epic. I first visited - in fact stayed there overnight - when it was still the Para Hotel in 1968 and the original Ghan went past!
Yes we were disappointed by missing the Para.
Back when it was a real bush pub, before it became the yuppy Prairie Hotel! 🤣😂
Awsome video guys!!!! Thanks for future Ashish Roarane interview!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah looking forward to interviewin Ashish
I’ll never understand why a bike would come with features you have to turn off. Enduro mode on my desert x the and and traction control is incredible and I’d never turn it off cause it’s saved my ass multiple times.
It's a good setting when you're getting used to dirt or want to relax.
Well dun
thank you
Can't wait for the kimberlys. Worked fifo up there a while and would love to bring my bike back over
Yeha, Nugget and I re getting excited.
Fantastic place. Well made film. Come to ride in our high desert here. 7000ft of elevation. Volcanic features. Silt, sand and intense sun. Who knows you might like New Mexico
sounds great
Oh look the flinders rAnges my backyard
A great backyard.
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV one of the places in the country, ya just gotta keep your eyes peeled for the roo militia they love to hop 😂
Parachilna - The Prairie Hotel…. The Pub with no beer!!! Been there a couple of times and have to be up there with my favourite Aussie pubs. Mind you, it was OPEN when I went. You poor bastards!!
Yes, very disappointing
Next week in Southern California the "Red Sticker" bikes are outlawed. Only old bikes like my 01' Honda CR250R can be used. After sitting for years I will be taking it out on a day trail ride this weekend. My lightest bike, Getting old and soft for much bigger bikes to push on. Will need to fresh'en up on my clutch control if I'm not to dig trenches. Hope it goes fun.
What is a red sticker bike?
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV A Red Sticker bike is Identified as a air polluter and can only be ridden in the winter (6 months of year). My old 2 stroke is grandfathered in so it has a Green Sticker. California hates us off roaders. All KTM's except their EXC street legal bikes are made to pass the ca. emission test. They put a lot of stuff that kills the engine to pass regulations here. I think the EU is just as bad.
Hi, I'm a T7 and 690R rider from Utah... Really enjoyed this video and the countryside you all have to ride in. Your almost as luck as me lol...
Glad you enjoyed it! We are both fortunate.
love these vids, would love to go on a ride with you lot one day.
Maybe one day!
we Itchy Boots fans assumed she would go to Australia, but she's in Moroco now and its scary
Thats better guys.👍
Yes all fixed and foofed up.
Well done as usual, Dave. So, how was the fuel efficiency for the 701? Anything you are changing for the next ride?
Fuel efficiency good but I haven't taken figures. Nothing being changed.
Another great vid Dave.
I'd like your honest comparison of the mighty T7 and the husky 701.
thank you
Will this be different from the adventure released on the 7th?
I loved that one, it had the same atmosphere and almost tranquility of your more complex travels, but in a much smaller package. It really underlines how great it can be when you go without a group on a just a few days of amazing adventure.
e: Finished the rest of the adventure from the 7th, turns out there is more, sorry for the dumb question, I didn't think it was episodic since there was no episode number and you've started making adventures as one long video (which I love). Looking forward to 18th!
I've just finished it, the the first bit you;ve seen.
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV Amazing, I'm very much looking forward to it
@@yeahrightmate 37 mins
Wish i had roads like this near me, South Africa only has really adventure type places up to the north east, by the south west its mostly tarred.. the pros and cons on being better side of the country infrastructure lol. Touring on other hand is perfect near me but gets a bit mundane and others on roads are a problem..
Sorry to hear that.
Same video twice? I'm confused....🤔
It was to be two episodes but there wasn't enough footage so I joined it all together. But also improved the sound and remastered it in 4K for those with the bandwidth
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV Cool, thanks for the clarification 👍 I'll find where part 2 starts
Here we are a year later and Sydney is still being deluged by rain.
It's a pain in the arse for bike testing.
Those roos can be a real pain, I hit 3 of them when I was there on my vstrom1000. 2 hit the front of the bike and 1 jumped into my leg, cracking my footpeg mount. Had to ride home to Perth only standing on my right peg when I wanted to stretch 😂
Do yuoo think maybe you were going a bit quick? Verytime I've hit one I was going too fast for the conditions.
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV I was down to 60kmh, but was stuck on the road between Blinman and hawker at night after a mates bike broke down. There were thousands of kangaroos everywhere, so it was unavoidable. At 60kmh they hit and bounced off without knocking me off, so I kept going. Definitely not something I want to do again tho 😂
Dave if you get a chance check out the Skydio2 - looks like a great drone for filming 🎥 adventure land. Cheers
I've looked at them, as far as I can see, not availale in Australia yet.
How Is this different to the first one?
Clearly you didn’t watch all of the last one or it would be obvious
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV yes true, I hadn't quite gotten there yet, from around 29 minutes in. I do appreciate the effort put into the content, just thought it was the same one
Great video, what tyres did you run on the Tenere? Cheers 😊
soory mate can't remember
I mean you could say that it's a re-upload to fix the audio in the first one, with a little extra on the end. Just to make it clear for people. Still a great video tho!
It says it on the packet full movie
Great video! Who plays the music you opened with, that was sweet
Royalty free music
It doesn’t matter how many times I watch this video my butt hole puckers up hard when that kangaroo jumps in front of you 😅
I've had closer.
What camera do you have on your helmet ? GoPro ?
Amazing no wind noise👍
Go Pro 9 with media pack and mic back to front in helmet
G’day Dave, lookin forward to seeing the Kimberley vid! I hear theres some interesting footage of GS’s crossing into El Questro. 😉
Widdy.
Yep Ben excellent footage of Beemrs on the loose coming in El Questro
What tyres are you running on the S10?
Hello, have you done a video on your recording hardware, what you use etc?
If not I was wondering what you use and the brands please. We have put videos together previously but not with audio added in. I was looking at connecting up the GoPro to our Sena , just wondering if you do similar
David
I use an adventure helmet and gopro 9 audio pack and connect a mic that goes into my helmet facing towards me.
6:09 It's pretty clear but aliens built that church
yep
Thank you, thank you, thank you. You would have to be a cold hearted SOB or dead if those wonderful views don't stir your heart. Great bit of advice to button off on the dirt. Firstly you get more time to look at the views and secondly more time to react to those pesky thumpers
I've hit one before, nearly killed myself.
So Dave, your wake up tomorrow in the Blinman hotel. You walk outside and there’s the 701 parked next to a T7. You will be riding on tracks and trails like you did here - which bike do you kick a leg over?
Both :), as long as the T7 is mine with the suspension sorted. I'd put the T7 on my back while going north from Beltana and then put the Husky on my back on the open stuff and black top.
Is it correct to say that the traction control is actually a different map setting?...ie with abit more smoother power delivery so that the wheel doesnt spin? 🤔
No. Two different ignition settings. Traction control is separate.
Geez ya mates a talker😳
Effervescent
You have the roos. we got the deer. do the kangaroos tend to pick a direction and keep going? or are they completely random like deer? Ive had deer double back, run straight from me, and even try leaping over me. touch wood, Ive only had close calls. But Im curious if the roos behave similarly.
BTW - Im envious of short dudes who can hop on and stand comfortably on a stock ADV bike and not have to spend another grand screwing around with the clearly defective ergonomics.
Roos are the same.
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV Boo on them then. Jerks.
repost?
not quite. Extended by ten minuted. Upgraded to 4K, sound reviewed and improved.
shame it wasnt a TT700
yep
Did you say the Husqvarna weighed 140kg? lol
Oh sorry 146>
8mins in, talking about roo/wallaby collisions .... why don't I ever hear of Shuroo's fitted to bikes?
Not a generally held belief they work
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV They work on my car
@@jasonlambert154 Good, but that ain't a bike
@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV lol, fair dinkum, it would be easy enough to fit one
@@jasonlambert154 If they worked motorcyclists would all fit one.
I made the 666 like!
ha ha
I think dirt bikes coming out with TC is pointless, everyone always just turns it off.
TC is excellent and saves riders.
