- Motorcycle Adventure Australia is a full length movie story about five experienced adventure riders who take on the mid north hinterland of New South Wales, Australia during consistent rain.
The area they will ride is rugged and very slippery and they spend most of their time in dense forest riding challenging trails and the occasional difficult obstacle.
There are five riders, Dave, the shooter producer of Motorcycle Adventure Dirtbike TV riding a 2021 Husqvarna 701. Nugget, a favourite with the MAD TV audience riding his 2020 Husqvarna 701 Long Range. Covid Dave, riding a KTM990 that he has ridden half way around the world. Sean, riding a Honda CRF300 Rally that he has recently modified and finally Mark, a long term friend of MAD TV, riding an adventurised KTM EXC500.
Mark is the leader of the ride but on the second day Nugget proposes short cut the group decide to take. From that point forward the ride raises in difficulty.
A raw film, that focusses on great tracks, riding banter, mateship, bike set up. Aspiring adventurers will walk away with a greater insight into adventure motorcycling. The more experienced riders will just share in the fun and get ideas for their own adventure in this area.

I love my 300 Rally it always amazes me that it keeps up with much more expensive and powerful bikes off-road and keeps up well enough on road . Love the video thanks for sharing !

Another great video Dave! Nugget is as entertaining as ever! The CRF 300 is certainly looking very popular. I know several people now who have one or are waiting for one to arive. I'm tempted myself!

Now i need to work out what bike to sell to offset cost of that machine... my CRF250rally or my cb500x with all the fruit..... : ( . That 300 did really well and is at such a different price point. A big bore kit and suspension upgrade for the 250....???????? uggg.
This is a prime example of why I sold my 990 Adventure and bought a 701 Long Range. The 990 was a fantastic machine, but ultimately too heavy (especially when loaded with camping gear) for the mix of off road terrain and situations I kept finding myself in. The 701 LR strikes a really nice balance between power, weight, range, highway comfort and off road capability. It's a unicorn bike for sure.

I'm really impressed with that little 300. All of you are clearly skilled, but it seemed the conditions were best for that bike.
The CRF 300 was awesome in those conditions. Its light weight and "just right" amount of power helped it find traction everywhere.

@@ShonkyProductions funny how low power suddenly becomes a benefit ...of course a suptle wrist can sort of recreate/mimick a slow bike in the snot....With a powerful motor just keep ever inforefront of mind: no matter WHAT.... DONT twist that thing! Cant touch that! lol

Jay, the 300 Rally is an awesome bike. As you can see it keeps up with the bigger bikes fine and shines when track conditions deteriorate. I had a ball riding it on this adventure.

Which is like also saying "makes me want to ride in total snot while its pouring rain" ...well how often will that be the case? So you get the 300 but then find yourself 90% Needing/wanting POWER lol....The only reason I could see to get the 300 was to save money ...but I have the money so why? The 690 is same weight class way better suspension and double the power...was an easy decision

Love how much rain, mud, branches, rivers and green Australia is. As an owner of a CRF250Rally I can tell that if mine is capable of pretty much everything the 300 is even more. Thank you guys for this crazy adventure! (greetings from Spain)

Yes the owners of the 250/300 get to glory in a ride like this....but then suck hind tit the other 90% of rides lol....just saying....big power is a MUST HAVE! lol....even if I dont actually need it....I WANT IT! It is too much fun to ever forget about!

One word again..... Epic! Having owned a 990 my heart was in my mouth watching that bloke tackle wet steep clay, loaded with gear, shod with adventure tires and super tanker Safari tanks on board. Folks, that was some serious adrenalin inducing riding. Love it!

A good bunch to ride with
I bought a big capacity adv bike expressly to make sure I never ended up on rides like these again. Done my time with close quarters combat in the scrub Gimme the wide open spaces and time to actually view the scenery, not head down watching for the next rut or rock or stick. Big bike precludes me from all that - hallelujah.
I still like the excitement.

When I first saw Nugget's luggage setup it looked like he had been to New Zealand shopping for the blue tarp that can be purchased from every Warehouse shop in NZ. Barely a day would go by without seeing one attempting to increase the weather tightness of something out in the open.

@@MidCoastAdventures Yes, I never bought the 250 Rally because having owned a YamahaWR250R I knew that a 250 was just that little bit under-powered.
The 300 has defiantly filled in the missing power and the 550 performance ECU just tops it off perfectly.

Yes, it is a truly unstoppable bike. It's so easy to ride, even in those testing conditions, and keeps up with big bikes easily. I love mine and can't wait to take it on the next adventure.

MAD shit. I loved every inch of it. I'ts amazing though, how you feel yourself, navigating every creek, gully, ditch and dodgy bridges etc. Every dirt bike rider, i wager would agree??

I love your videos. I love adventure riding. I ride a Super Tennere 1200. Been on some difficult sick single track rides an the wet clay mud is where I turn back. Best scare I had to turn back followed my path and where I had passed only minutes earlier was now bear tracks deeper in the mudd than my 650pound Tennere's time to go🤣😅😂😳 love you guys. Come to California and look me up for a great adventure and spectacular scenery.

Great video guys. It still amazes me that Nugget's milk crates have lasted the test of time, but I must say that I am a bit disappointed to see him wearing modern riding gear instead of his old safety vest. As for the ride, pure adventure, the best. Thank you Dave, Going riding!

Here in Maine United States its Winter , Wth Snow and Cold.. high of 11° today better than its bn though -24° and such. Can't wait til Spring ... Get the bikes out. So these videos help clear the cobwebs out and kps the positive energy flowing 53 days til Calendar Spring . Depends on the Weather from there... Sometimes we are blessed and can go out here and there in Late April earl May, just need to be careful of the sand on the roads from winter and morning Ice , Sometimes we can enjoy a mid day afternoon short ride around town and a rare open state ride. So Thank You for keeping those of us shut in or unable to ride yet, Still enjoy watching your trips, and Adventures. We are there after the fact with ya. Lol
