mbmars01 Nice job. Yeah I live in mobile. I didn't know you can railfan down here, I always have in Erie,pa but not down here I just didn't want to get harassed by police. Don't get me wrong I won't step on railroad property I just want to start watching trains again in the south. By any chance when the next time ur down this way?
Awesome vid. I live in Saraland and pass through that area quite often. been stuck behind that short line before when I worked at the State Docks luckily it didn't happen while heading to work
That rail bed is in sad shape. some of the rail looked like it was really light rail. some that looked like it could have been as light as 40 lb rail. When you compare that to most Main Line rail is 150 lb Rail it sure jumps out at you.
Was one of four they bought from CSX for 100 anniversary units. The 444,445,446&447.
Great video! super 40!
Many thanks!
awesome video. sweet a GP40-3 & a SD40-2 nice.
Thanks.

I don't know when I'll return to Mobile. It's 6 hours from where I live...
Great video. If you plan to come to Pensacola FL, don't count on getting much of AGR. We're lucky to get 2 trains per week.
your welcome
Awesome video!
Great, thanks!
I use to have the model of the GP40-3. It's a beautiful unit.
Nice Job!
Thanks!
I've probably gotten footage of most of these locomotives. I live about 20 minutes away from Kimbrough, AL which is where AGR interchanges with NS.
Nice.
I'm 10 minutes from the AGR depot in Fountain, Al
Always wondered where AGR box cars came from when I spot them in southern Ontario Canada . Good Video.
Very interesting. Wouldn't have thought they travel that far. Thanks!
Probably loaded out at GP Pulp Mill in Fountain, Al
I didn’t think they got that far. Wow
Old EMDs go on for ever don't they.
Seems so lol
Excellent video.
Thanks.

Thank you. Oh well, I can imagine that Telegraph Rd is often blocked when AGR is switching.
Usually a couple times a week trains will cross through there. I remember growing up they used to use CN (Canadian Nation) engines instead of FEC
awesome train
I like the "weedcutter" on #445...I'm wondering how many times it has been used in it's lifetime! Nice footage!
+Ted Zabel Yes, interesting feature. Thanks!
You should have been around at the start up of the AGR. Two and three unit sets of GP30s!
Yea, would have been nice to watch...
Cool video!
Thanks!
Great video mbmars 😉😉
Glad you like it!
That's an old Florida East Coast locomotive

yeah, they need some track maintenance for sure! nice video!
Thanks!
they could use some track maintenance
Rail needs fixing !
RIP FEC 445. At least it still holds the speedway paint scheme. Also it’s still holds its candycane stripes.

That track at the beginning just goes to some warehouses...it's not main line track.
Even so, that track still should be condemned and replaced with a new roadbead.
Rita Loy OK Rita 😊
I love the old rocky 70lb rails, its nostalgic & rare nowadays.
great video
Thank you.
