We love how the color and line work in your sketchbooks intersects and overlaps without being completely tied together. In a way, it seems more natural than having all the color "local" to the objects!
Very clever use of color! The pink posca church, the cafe scene where the background was colored in but the foreground was just line art, the Pride festival with the rainbows. Very striking!
Such nice work! I love the variety of what you sketch, different color combos (I like the one you said you didn’t like so much, “by Sophie”)…all so different … I live in a boring, small town in Florida. I stopped sketching because I got tired of the same scenery, but I began to realize my challenge is to make what’s “boring” interesting.
Love, love, love that living room sketch with just the outside window view in colour A* By now I and all us UA-camr must have seen hundreds of sketches of your husband. Can we see a photo of him please next time you draw him. Don’t be shy. Thanks.
Hi dear Koosje ! So nice to find you here again ! It’s a Public Holiday here in Malta. The feast of Santa Maria which is celebrated in six locations on the island ! Lots of fireworks🎆🎇 tonight !! I love it when we get a tour of your inspiring Sketchbooks ! Someone said that she loved the one of your living room with the outside view in colour and I do too ! It is sooooo beautiful although I love them all but always love to pick a favourite !! Well, thank you once again for your time and for sharing what you do with us ! Truly appreciate it ! Wish you a great creative week ! Warmest regards …Lorraine ❤️🥰🎨😁
I love every page in this sketchbook! Again, thank you for sharing your work. 😊 My favorite pages were the market scenes after the rain and the Posca pen church. Oh, oh, andI finally got your book! I’ve been inspired to draw every single day since I got it. Thank you 😊 Next goal is to join one of your classes in the future! Yay!
Hi Koosje, I'm absolutely enjoying your videos and ideas. You made drawing so much more fun and playful for me. I would really love a video about how to simplify things while sketching. When I'm drawing and in the scene there's something really complex I don't kno how to simplify it, so I tend to draw it in great detail which leads to me taking super long and being less motivated to draw in the first place. Do you know what I mean and think this could fill a video? Best, Claire
I love your work as well as your motivation efforts. I would love to take your online trainings. The schedule in California time is challenging for me.

I think the church drawing is a great example of simplifying. And watch this video, I think it will help: ua-cam.com/video/31lGkILZK2o/v-deo.html
I love your work as well as your motivation efforts. I would love to take your online trainings. The schedule in California time is challenging for me.
It’s hard to make it work for as many time zones as possible, as well as fitting it in my own schedule
It is understandable. I will pay attention for your future workshops.
thanks

Great work! Please share the mediums you use on each page or put a link. Thanks!
That would be an awful lot of work… I’d rather spend that time making a few drawings.
nice
Thanks
Would love to join drawing people but I’m sent to a “this was a mistake” site on eventbrite. Any ideas how I can still join or are you full?
Hi Jenny,
Here’s the link: www.eventbrite.com/cc/lets-draw-people-375049?utm-campaign=social&utm-content=creatorshare&utm-medium=discovery&utm-term=odclsxcollection&utm-source=cp&aff=escb
The event link to people drawing do not work for me... Site says the event doesn't exist 🤔
Let’s try this then: www.eventbrite.com/cc/online-workshops-495309
Are you solo now ? are you not a part of sketchbook Skool anymore ?
I am, since 2020.
