I'm amazed by how much your art communicates with such time and mark economy and efficiency. You don't overwork - I do - how do you stop fussing at just the right time - what a skill!
As a busy mom of three, I love the emphasis on drawing daily even if you don't have time. This was a great video. Thanks for the encouragement. Also, I love the way you draw vehicles. The excavator turned out beautiful!
Thanks for the advise. I was so sick yesterday with the flu but just drawing even though it was only a quick 10 min sketch got my mind off it and feel slightly better ❤
Hi Koosje ! What a delightful Sketchbook ! So many different styles and subjects yet they all are lovely in their own way ! Thank you for sharing ! I have FINALLY managed to purchase a Sailor Fude nib pen from Spain !! I cannot stop drawing with it 😁!! It was YOU who introduced me to it and for that I am ever so grateful ! It makes so many different lines and can be so expressive in drawing ! Well, a big Thank You once again ! Warmest regards ...Lorraine 🤗🥰🎨
Especially loved looking through this brilliant sketchbook. I liked your 15 minute in the cafe one that you said was unfinished, LOVED the pendant lights.
Loved this one! Well, I really love all of them, but the idea of everyone drawing in every other person's book is just enchanting. I teach spinning in Adult Ed and now I am thinking that it would be fun to spin a little bit of yarn on everyone else's wheel! Bless you, Koosje!!
I have been following you since your Sketchbook Skool days and I love, love, love how your style has evolved. You are inspiring and I aspire to have your enthusiasm and creativity. This sketchbook is amazing! I love the art in it as well as their backstories. Love the rainy ones with your dad. What is the brand of this particular sketchbook? Thank you!
Hi Koosje! What did you use for the train portraits at 12:28? (please and thank you) They look really cool with all the different colors in one line 😮🌈
I used a "magic Pencil" from Koh-I-Noor. Also known as a rainbow pencil. The lead consists of several colors so you get a really fun effect. A few years ago, I made a video using these pencils: ua-cam.com/video/mykbcpGtA5s/v-deo.html
Check out this video to see what my favorite materials are: ua-cam.com/video/xBTxFEA_vxE/v-deo.html And this one to see what I take with me on location: ua-cam.com/video/KZPOu57iLEw/v-deo.html
Question, what do you do with all the built up sketchbooks? How do you create space for storage of them all. I struggle with limited space. Do you ever throw some away eventually to make space for new ones?
Loved the spoon selfie s

I love the freedom of your drawings. I am so tight with my drawings and I can't seem to let go of the tightness and do the fun.
Try drawing with your non-dominant hand and see what happens!

Het "juiste moment" maak je zelf, door je pen en schetsboek te pakken!
So enjoyable to watch! ❤

When it starts to feel like fussing, you know that's your stopping point.
Lovely. I get some great ideas just looking through your sketchbook with you. ❤
I'm so glad!
I love that you draw with your dad Koosje! I'd love to draw more with my family members!
I am so lucky!
omg I LOVED IT TOO MUCH

Enjoyed. Now you have one more fan!!
Thank you!

@@KoosjeKoene THAT is SO COOL! And thanks for the video link - so fabulous to see them in action! I'm so getting one! 🌈🤩
I love this book! What material do you take out for sketching from real life?

I have them stacked on shelves. For now. When I run out of shelving space, I'll think of what to do.
Brilliant! So, who's the banjo player?
The husband.
7:37 not something you tend to sketch, even tho it has really interesting lines and shapes😀
I like the drawing done in sections throughout the day. Good idea.
I have TWICE sketched the real wienermobile in person!
Oh wow! I would love sketching that mobile in person.
Wat een mooi gevuld schetsboek! Ik ben benieuwd naar de podcast die je luisterde, heb je de link hiervan? Dankjewel 😊
Oe! Vergeten erbij te zetten! Dank dat je me eraan herinnert.

Koosje, do you ever sketch with charcoal and then add watercolor?
No, I don't. I don't really enjoy using charcoal.
