I worked in White Plains in the early to mid 80's at the IBM Product Center on Main St. till IBM wrongly closed their retail ops down. I enjoyed the job a ton. To me the Plains was a nice cool city. Christmas Season was so nice. I commuted from Nyack in Rockland County mostly by bus. Co-workers were great.

This is my hometown. I’ve been living in WP for almost 14 years now. I love hanging around Mamaroneck Avenue. I ride my bike around there all the time. It’s a nice feeling.

Back in the '60's, WP had the distinction of developing the 2nd largest urban renewal program (after SF) in the country. Impressive for a city of this size ... and just goes to show how politically connected Westchester pols were with D.C.
Everything between the tracks and Mamaroneck Ave south of Main, except the County office bldg. was demolished. Now in its mature state, its an example of late 20th C. civic reconstruction.

If the Auto Industry asked you to
    park outside your neighbor's window
every day and Honkkkk would you?
Would you do it in the middle of the
    night?
Please! then lock your vehicles quietly
    with flash no Honkkk.
A Honk is a Honk is Honk.
HOW: Press lock and unlock on fob for
    2-4 seconds. Hazards should flash
    to show Honk is off.

Contact your dealer's service as needed
as some vehicles might be different
    Spread the Word!
    Thank you.
