I’m glad you clarified that. However that title is misleading. I hope when you eventually visit the dangerous hood of Brooklyn such as Brownsville, ENY, Canarsie, E Flatbush, Crown Heights. Hope you’ll title it the same. Cause so far you’ve only been to the “nice” areas of Brooklyn. Covered some areas twice even.

I’m from Queens and have lived in NYC most of my life. Currently live in Brooklyn. I’ve seen an armored car get robbed, seen people running down the street covered in blood, seen people dying on the sidewalk, seen footage of a friend being murdered in the street, saw a man get hit by the train, have slept in parks and and befriended homeless people, have had both guns and knives pulled on me, have heard screams echo down the street and have seen muzzle flashes that were far too close for comfort. I’ve seen some crazy shit in my life. There have only been two times where I found myself in a neighborhood at night and was like “mmm… I might die if i don’t get tf outta here right now”. Both were in the Bronx 😂
@@magamaga1827 Yeah, I was a little kid in the early 90s. I bet a bunch of Brooklyn was wild back then. I did hang out in East NY plenty of times in my 20s and never really had any problems, but I knew people there. Same with Brownsville. When you know people it's generally alright. But I'm sure it's not as crazy as it once was. I also lived in Bed Stuy for a few years, right near the slave theater. I was a junkie at that time and definitely got into some sticky situations because of that, but it's becoming gentrified these days. Surprisingly, I've seen some wild stuff in Canarsie, which generally isn't a bad neighborhood. That's where I saw the armored car robbery, which I'm sure there are articles about. Happened right near where I worked. That's also where I saw someone running down the street covered in blood. I was standing outside of my job smoking a cigarette. The person was screaming and chasing after another person, definitely the one who hit them. I'm guessing they hit them in the head with something and all the blood came from their forehead, which tends to bleed a lot. Something similar happened to me when I was a kid. Got bit in the eyebrow by a dog and I bled so much that my whole face was covered in it and it was all over my clothes. Was a gruesome sight but the bite wasn't even that bad. Didn't even require stitches.
Nice job getting good, smooth, steady footage while walking/riding around and avoiding collisions. Hard to do in a dense area. Footage is very steady, no shaking, and not too fast or slow. You got it down pat well

First time seeing the Bronx apart from the movies I didn’t realise Yankee stadium was that close to the centre of the Bronx It wouldn’t look as bad if the place had a goof clean up do they not employ road sweepers? Anyway fascinating video👍👍
Bless us and save us!!!!😱 I can't believe I walked through these very streets while growing up in Mott Haven over sixty years ago that the entire districts, especially Fordham Road, turned the Bronx into a smut and filth borough today. How can it be that Fordham was once a popular shopping site where you could spend the weekends with your family visiting stores, eating in small delicatessens, and participating in social street activities all year round? Watching this upload is not only shocking, but it fills my heart with despair to find nothing but disorder and mayhem among the neighborhoods that were pristine at one time, with residents who rigorously precedented in maintaining the quality of life in the Bronx. Judging by the current outlook of the streets and blocks, I wouldn't go near my old neighborhood if you promised me room and board at the Waldorf because it comes as no surprise that an invader would cut my throat to apprehend my $10.00 watch.
You're not alone, it's in every desirable U.S. city now. It's exactly the opposite here and for me and the rest of us so called "Left Overs" in my good 'ol neighborhood. It's gentrified and almost entirely racially exclusive now and attempting to become shi shi west. My landlord (read scumbag) has attempted to unlawfully evict me six times since 2000 because of greed with some racial prejudice mixed in. Low lifes don't necessarily have to look a certain way and be from any particular class.
The thing that hurts the most is seeing the men lying on the ground and all that rubbish left on the ground, as if time could take care, instead of us humans... 😌🙂

Me my girlfriend and some friends went to New York in February 2024, and this was the exact street where our hotel was located, (Opera House Hotel at minute 26:40), So many memories in this video!!! However, with that said, it is an urban jungle. Ugly landscape, littered streets. Crackheads prevalent especially early mornings on Tremont Ave. Most crimes happen at night time as with any other city worldwide. Guns are a common problem with young males. There are pockets of old italian neighborhoods scattered throughout the Bronx, but those are slowly dying out because the younger generation of Italians don’t want to run the family businesses. Gentrification is currently happening in 2024, forcing out many Hispanic and native African residents to leave due to skyrocketing rent prices

Great job covering the areas though 👍
Looks dangerous - scary and very dirty. Hard to believe/digest. Thanks for sharing.
dirty, yes. disgustingly so. scary/dangerous, not at all, but a little stressful because so many fake people you have to be kinda guarded about who you trust.

Im a resident of the Bronx born and raised, i must say i believe the Bronx is cursed, maybe from hundreds of years ago because i wonder how a place could wind up so disgusting, filthy loud with so many horrible issues i think about leaving every day but i don't have the means too right now i hoping and praying i can one day leave and it will be a distant nightmare.
You just have to change the people who took over it and made it this bad for so long.
Would you say Kensington is the worst place
Blacks and latinos
Look at the people who live here and there’s your answer
I believe in cursed places.
I believe in chances.
I dream of leaving my city in Rio de Janeiro BR.
And I wish you get your release too.
What kind of stabilizer are you using to record? Incredible clean and steady footage.
That dead end block is beautiful to me! With those cute doors to the lower apartments love it! Very nice! Good and Bad in every neighborhood!!
They must be new of course theyre gonna be good
It’s in Washington heights and it’s old , I use to live close by 15 yrs ago .
It's very expensive
@@dassolosyndikat5113no they're not new it's a historic district it's expensive and they pay tons to keep it looking good
The best of The Bronx is Fieldston in Riverdale, where mansions reign supreme.
Thank you from Russia.
Very interesting video. I had in NY in 2008-2009 , but only turistical district.
Continuous watching your video.
Good luck.
Очакванията за ми за САЩ са доста по различни от видяното , но въпреки това благодаря за видеото . Камерата ви е невероятна страхотно качество. Поздрави от България !
First time seeing the Bronx apart from the movies I didn’t realise Yankee stadium was that close to the centre of the Bronx
It wouldn’t look as bad if the place had a goof clean up do they not employ road sweepers?
When the hell was this I was there in the 90's and it definitely wasn't that

You're not alone, it's in every desirable U.S. city now.
It's exactly the opposite here and for me and the rest of us so called "Left Overs" in my good 'ol neighborhood.
It's gentrified and almost entirely racially exclusive now and attempting to become shi shi west.
My landlord (read scumbag) has attempted to unlawfully evict me six times since 2000 because of greed with some racial prejudice mixed in.
Low lifes don't necessarily have to look a certain way and be from any particular class.
I agree! I worked south south bronx for 35 yrs, Now it sucks esp hunts point, Cant sugar coat shit.

Thank you! I didn’t get to visit those parts when I travelled in NYC last Summer. Very cool city, love it
The thing that hurts the most is seeing the men lying on the ground and all that rubbish left on the ground, as if time could take care, instead of us humans... 😌🙂
You never been to Harlem then… homeless on ground is typical from the very very little I saw
@@travelandeats8518No, unfortunately I haven't been to New York yet... I only saw Miami and Key West in 2000! In Miami there were quite a few, even of Caucasian origin. 😌😏
Super video! Thx a virtual walking! What type is your camera?
I'd like to know what camera was used too.
I am English and my late wife was Jamaican. We visited New York from the UK only once, over thirty years ago, where we stayed with one of my wife's relatives who lived in the Bronx, a ten minute walk from Burnside Avenue station on Subway line 4. We visited various neighbourhoods including the Fordham shopping area but not The Hub seen in this videos.
Yankee stadium looks great wow
Great video! I am from Greece and never been to usa. The only idea I had for Bronx was from hip hop artist krs one - south Bronx i was listening when I was young. Nice to see that people walk free and nobody mess with nobody ❤
I'm from Indonesia, yours video is very clean, thanks and successful for you 🙏
I really love the speed at which this is produced. I get to visit cities in the comfort of my home on a 60" screen. Good Job! Subbed.
Glad you like it!
It isn't the same through a screen (no matter how big) at all. But this place is not worth visiting. You should try getting off your ass and visiting a city that is worth it tho, gramps.
I used to work in the area of Yankee Stadium. It is not dangerous, but it is dirty.
The homes at the start of this are so cool. I looked them up and some of them are renovated nicely and pretty pricey.
Me my girlfriend and some friends went to New York in February 2024, and this was the exact street where our hotel was located, (Opera House Hotel at minute 26:40), So many memories in this video!!!
It can be a little intimidating walking around that area, especially during night time and it is definitely a very different environment compared to Manhattam. It snowed a lot during that time while we were there, but overall we had a blast in New York! But anyway like you said "if you don't bother people, nobody is going to bother you."
Thank you for the footage 🗽
New York greatest city in America my ars!

At times during this amazing video, it felt like you were in a 3rd world country.
But everyone I have talked to who is from NYC or has lived there always speaks so lovingly about it, and about the special vibe and enrrgy of it. 👍

I can see where certain areas would be a little dangerous at late night. But pretty cool during the day.

Not gon hold you… i lived in polo grounds.. & 149 3d Ave in the X... Trust me these blocks lol…. Gotta go more deep in the neighborhood thats when u gon see the goons out word..
Lol. Bronx is not dangerous unless you're in a gang. Besides that, its fine. It's usually the crazy people with mental illness that cause the problem. Gangs always cause harm to other gangs or school related. I use to live in a lot of these areas. Even where the guy that was on the ground thats on Fordham RD. There are homeless and rehab clinics in that area
It's more like south africa
Excellent videos very well done ✅
I grew up next door to the guy as the thumbnail … now living down south in a way different environment. I’m grateful.

Wish you would’ve went up 4 more blocks when u got to 3rd Ave 154th st. But u turned around. I grew up in this area as a kid.
I remember when 3rd Ave had an el train running above it. This was back in the 60s and 70s The population at that time was mostly black, white and Puerto Rican. White ppl left. That was called white flight.
"So-called human faults are false labels, not laws, so we don’t have to accept them as belonging to us and consequently act them out. To believe that we can’t help ourselves because we were created with these failings or sins would dishonor God. Mrs. Eddy says in Science and Health: “Man is incapable of sin, sickness, and death. The real man cannot depart from holiness, nor can God, by whom man is evolved, engender the capacity or freedom to sin. . . . In divine Science, God and the real man are inseparable as divine Principle and idea” (pp. 475, 476).
As the perfect reflection of God, man expresses divinely derived qualities such as discernment, patience, obedience, humility, love, and the desire to be useful and serve God in a way that blesses all.' Christian Science Journal

@@mosesbecerril7981they said it’s filthy and disgusting which it is. There is garbage absolutely everywhere. An overall NYC problem to be fair but gets especially bad in the Bronx
Here we go again...just because you saw ONE PART of the Bronx doesn't automatically mean the entire borough is. And don't give me the "I never said the entire borough is bad" when your comment clearly implies it. Stop bad mouthing the Bronx.

I like your video.
I visit my sister who lives in the Bronx near 171st & Washington Ave. I’ve never felt scared. It indeed looks this way,and most people leave you alone minding their business.
