I was born in white plains , lived in port Chester from newborn till 8 . I miss it every day , still remember all the streets , cuts , stores . Recently went back to visit my hometown for the first time in 15 years . Knew my way around like I never left . Was definitely best part of my life.
I grew up in port Chester and it’s sad that their putting in all the apartment buildings it’s taking away the small villages charm. But I miss the food so much it’s all I go back for
I lived all my life in Port Chester I love my home town it has everything you need from good food to stores, library, post office,super markets like Costco and its walkable if you dont have a car which is great. just homes gave gotten so expensive here i may be forced out but i will always love my home town PC

Well I'm from Portchester in England so I would imagine some of the original settlers came from there or have heard of Portchester. Occasionally when I do a Google search for something in Portchester a website from Port Chester will appear instead. This video came up on my UA-cam feed. One day I would like to visit Port Chester.
