I can't really look an any time travel and sci-fi series the same anymore. This was just so good. Acting, story, cinematography, sound design. It had everything.
Nothing comes above Black Mirror and Breaking Bad my friend :) after those 2 yall can objectively list your "list". Tho seriously, if yall have not watched breaking bad and black mirror, then i seriously consider it. Those are the shows that make you question every show you ever watched and liked. It’s sad that this series is barely getting any recognition.
At this point I'm thinking the 'reception' is all corporate owned and up for sale to the highest bidder. I went to see 'Cats' and it was great. I had a great experience. I'm convinced the Twitter campaign against it was Disney's attempt to eliminate competition for 'Rise of Skywalker' over the holidays.
@ No, my observations are based on some research I did in college a couple of years ago. There is a significant industry in social media manipulation. You can look that up. Software security companies know all about it. It's in every major country. The Chinese and Russians have their own version of it. And again, I went and watched the film myself and enjoyed the experience and just couldn't see any real justification for the extreme negative criticism. Some of the negative Twitter reviews, in retrospect, seemed like they were written by people who didn't view the film. Disney has totally mismanaged the development of the new Star Wars films and the result has been poor revenue and tepid responses from the public. It's just a guess at their motives, but I would say that the company is probably just trying to salvage what it can by eliminating competition. Walking into a theater on December 25th it was strange to note how little there was for an adult to pick from. For me, it came down to 'Cats' and 'Rise of Skywalker' and I decided to give the critics the finger and try something different. It turned out to be a rewarding experience.

The writing, the Kubrick influence with constant background audio like a slow drag of a violin, it all just works for this show. I can't remember a show that draws you in so completely like this show does. It's hard to work in elements of time travel and crazy relationships like someone being a person's mother but also their daughter or a grandfather who is also a husband without making the show ridiculous and cheesy but this show makes it all somehow seem possible, even though common sense and education tells us it is not. This show is a gem, I've watched all 3 seasons twice and it has not lost its potency and my girlfriend and I will be binge watching again in the near future.
I put the show on without knowing anything about it. Thought it was going to be a typical teen drama/missing child crime show. Then the ending of the first episode gave me chills and really blew me away.
Best show I've ever seen.

Dark is a masterpiece...Jonas is one of my favorite characters. I rarely get into a show that I will watch the episodes repeatedly, but with Dark I will never tire of rewatching every single mind blowing episode!

Wow... Just wow. I just finished the second season. I saw both seasons in 4 days, after my friend suggested me the show. I am beyond amazed with what I just witnessed. Waiting for season 3, probably June 27th 2020, it's the most logical date.

I tried to watch money heist today after binging dark yesterday. Wow the difference of quality is unreal. Acting, writing, editing and soundtrack is out of this world from Dark. Money heist is child's play in comparison

Being a looooooong time lover of AF... I have to be honest and say that their original of the song, SUCKS compared to the beauty of which Peter Gabriel created only 3 years later.
Kinda like Johnny Cash’s version of Hurt absolutely trumping NIN’s original. Both are amazing in this case though... just JC is better still. Lol
