There was a guy who used to play this tune on the school steps in the warm sunshine back in the early 1970s. I think his name was Terry Lundy. It's been so long, hard to be sure. He was a stocky lad with very broad fingers. I was impressed at how articulate they were nevertheless, a natural fingerstylist he was. They never got in each other's way. He's long dead now, I heard. I can't see how that's fair. But he did have those innocent hours on the school steps in the sunshine, anyway. And Bruce Cockburn is still going, amazingly.
