I like Cologne but I LOVE Aventus. Cologne to me smells like a blend of 60% Chanel Allure Homme Sport and 40% Creed Aventus. I wore it a lot last summer.

I live in Thailand and Aventus Cologne works wonders year round here🇹🇭😁 I prefer the Cologne to the OG for tropical climates.
Aventus cologne is my favorite for daytime and aventus for nighttime. Love both of them
I bought this In April and I'm in love. I get more Unsolicited compliments by ladles than original. I have both and even though the original has more depth I get tired of birch somedays but Cologne has made me appreciate fresh scents again. King of Freshies A.C

Dude, perfect description of performance and smell. I would describe it same as you, verbatim. As for this release, I freakin LOVE IT. I could own 7 bottles of this and be happy, I enjoy it that much. I love the effervescent opening and clean musky opening, and I think the quality is certainly there. All in all, it’s safe to say it’s a favorite of mine
I had both and found I actually like the cologne better and it lasts longer on my skin than the OG Aventus. The hate mainly comes from the die hard aventus fanboys

I really like them both, but I honestly like Aventus cologne better. Sorry to upset the die hard fans. I just really like the mandarin orange quality it has.

AC is one of my all time favs. I have Muiltiple bottles and never wear my regular Aventus anymore. The performance of my 19x01 is nuclear and my 20d01 is becoming there the more it ages.

I'm glad you mentioned explorer at the end...for me that's the perfect comparison, except AC has better performance and more interesting depth. But both are essentially fresh mass appealing versions of OG Aventus... Not sure I agree with creed that AC is unisex though, I know these days anyone can wear anything but would you say explorer or allure homme sport are unisex? Nope
Had a sample of Aventus Cologne and my GF preferred it over the OG. However, the cologne smells way too similar to Chanel AHS in my opinion, which makes a full bottle purchase seem a bit redundant.
Ima buy Creed Aventus when the winter here in Sweden is over, i heard that it doenst perform the best during cold so maybe Mars/April. Any tips would be appriciated so far im rocking TF Tobacco Vanille and Azzoro Wanted By Night
I have both and agree with Ash. I prefer the cologne for a hot summer day or everyday office while I prefer Aventus for evening or a more "power" scent.
Man, for real Aventus Cologne I think smells better than Aventus. I just have trouble with sillage.

I do like Aventus Cologne a little bit more than the original, but it's very much chemistry-based for me. Most times I wear Aventus, it smells great. But every once in a while, I get a slightly sweaty vibe in the dry down off my skin. I haven't figured out why yet. Aventus Cologne doesn't do that, and until I figure out the source of the slight funk (and stop wearing it during those situations)...I stand by it.
That's exactly why I bought Cologne. In the summer the body warmth of a 250 dude who just left the gym radiates and it's too much lol. In the fall and winter I don't get as much of that though and not all the time...

I’ve never owned original Aventus. I do have a Aventus cologne sample and a 60 mil bottle of explorer and find them very similar.
What lasts longer and projects more creed aventus or pdm percival
I've decided I will not be buying Creed Aventus anymore. There are so many clones that are much cheaper and that I actually get more compliments from. Regardless of what people say, there is nothing about Creed that makes it worth the price point.

CDNIM and L’Aventure. For the money , trust me you can’t go wrong with L’Aventure.

Hey Ash, i dont know if you're familiar with them but venba fragrances has a lot of niche for way cheaper than what you paid at fragrancex and so does fragrance usa. Both are 100% genuine and creed Aventus colonge is 239.00 at venba for 100ml, which i assume you'd rather pay than the 323.00 you did at fragrancex

Aventus is still out of my price range, but it is interesting to find out that it has flankers. And now I'm curious about Aventus for Her. Because of course it's out of my price range, but not my wife's. Same debit card... different restrictions. lol

Have you checked out Mercedes Select? It's like the Aventus Cologne equivalent to Explorer. Very fruity, refresh and light without the smoke.

This smells like Allure Homme Sport had an Aventus inspired flanker. IMO, it would be more redundant to own AHS and Aventus Cologne than it would be to own AC and Aventus.

My batch 19x01 has terrible performance.

They can smell so different even from same year.
But to me the best were 2014 to 2016
Creed doesn’t manufacture their fragrances in large quantities and they make them manually using old very old methods of creating them... so you do get batch variances
Just wish it would last longer. Love the scent but very poor performer at least off my skin.
Moisturize your skin I use vaseline petroleum jelly just a very thin coat on your pulse points. I hit myself twice after the shower spray immediately let dry then vaseline then hit myself let dry out the door please try it.

It's very expensive in the US. In France you can find Aventus 100ml for around 200€ at discounters.

Aventus Cologne smells great in the opening but then it veers left into smelling too much like Versace Pour Homme/ Aqua Di Gio. Not bad fragrances but a little dated

@@tricky92x there’s the Aventus layer and then the “cologne” layer in AC. It smells more like VPH but it uses similar notes to ADG. It doesnt necessarily smell like it but it’s ADG adjacent for sure

I’ve worn ADG for a long time, and then Aventus (until I became allergic), then switched to Profumo… and have the Aventus cologne on as I’m typing this. I’m picking up so much of the OG Aventus on me, and no skin irritation which is exciting.
@@tricky92x I don’t necessarily pick up ADG, more so an ADG type scent- something like VPH, Perry Ellis red, etc…but that’s the beauty of fragrance. It’s so personal and subjective. You don’t pick it up and you’re not wrong.

@@domcagney2352 I think I know what you mean as far as an "airy" opening. But, on my skin I am picking up a lot of masculine notes with the Aventus Cologne that I never picked up with ADG. I do believe I understand you now, though. With Aventus, I think I narrowed down that I developed an allergy to oakmoss. Apparently, you can develop it with exposure. I kept having contact dermatitis symptoms every time I wore Aventus that didn't start until my second bottle (and then third bottle). I don't think oakmoss is in the Aventus Cologne, and so far I'm not having any reaction to it. *** I never thought I would be having these types of conversations about fragrances! Ha!
