I wore aventus cologne today..2 sprays on the neck at 8am! Came home at 6pm and the wifey was like you smell amazing! She could still smell it from a couple feet away. Crazy!!! Thank goodness
When I wear this I’m constantly hearing people talk about how good I smell behind my back. Idk I think this is the best cologne I’ve ever owned. I own Aventus as well and I love how the cologne version keeps the best things about OG Aventus like the deep rich musk while adding a beautiful designer freshness dna while also being crafted much more naturally without the synthetic crap. It has the designer style that women love so much but it’s much higher quality and more natural with the Aventus DNA. This fragrance is an absolute masterpiece.
I've also noticed that once you wear a fragrance for a good few times, it becomes better (as you mentioned about it aging). I thought I was mad to think this 🤣
I dont know if you guys realised but the name doesnt mean its “cologne” concentration, its cologne because its a fresher take on aventus, irwin creed said this in an interview and he followed it by saying “its parfum concentration”
Creed has named the parfum Cologne just to say its fresher than Aventus, but the concentration is eau de Parfum, exactly as Aventus. Its also a trend to name EDP "Colognes" (there is plenty of "Cologne cedrat" etc). In the other hand, Olivier Creed explains in an interview that you can find in youtube, that because of the rising restrictions in perfumery laws in Europe, they had to change some components and thats why Aventus is less colored and more transparent. Creed is probably one of the houses that uses more natural oils in their compositions, but with the allergies and the restrictions, unfortunately this things happens. They dont intent to change Aventus, why to change a parfum that is a best seller for more than a decade?. because its uses lots of natural components, and Nature is unpredictable, some smalls differences can be noticed, in each batch, but its always Aventus. If you want a parfum that smells the same, you buy a chemical mainstream parfum for 50 $ :)
The batches from 2021 don’t even have a batch number since they don’t have natural ingredients anymore.. I bought my aventus and my other bottle from 2015 is in comparison nothing like it. Such a shame more expensive and less quality.. that’s the world now these days. Ask your retailers and if they are honest they will tell you this same story
Why so surprised, both are great. I’m really sick and tired of the sour grapes and the rubbish claims directed toward the original. I’ve used it for more than 10 years, and it still smells the same and it lasts. Most wearers develop scent fatigue because they aren’t wearing fragrance correctly.
Bought it last summer, really enjoyed the smell I thought it was amazing. I had to sell it in the fall because the longevity lacked terribly. Replaced it with PDM Greenley and I've been very pleased with the fresh smell + performance.
I absolutely love Aventus cologne, it was a love at first sniff for me and it got me started collecting, I picked this over og Aventus when I was in Nordstrom’s before the rona hit

On me performance and projection is great. And it smells great. 8hrs easy, then still a skincent after the 8hr mark. And im talking 5 sprays, so nothing crazy, usually i go 10-15 sprays with designer or weaker scents. To bad it does not work for you!

I think you're using the word creamy wrong, when you cut open a citrus fruit and smell it that's not creamy, creamy would be something like milk or peanut butter, this has a very realistic tangerine opening, far from creamy.
I don’t knowing it’s only me but I hate when niche fragrances smell a little bit like designer fragrances, AC turned me off because some notes reminded me of light blue intense and Versace pour homme. That’s also why I hated GIT since it smelled a lot like Davidoff Cool water although it’s a great fragrance. The original aventus is unmatched in its originality and absolutely worth the price
Good video, but...I'll wait for Armaf to clone it at a fraction of the price. Sampled it once and Meh, it's ok but I personally don't think any Creed is worth the money. I've sampled several and the one I liked the most was Unoriginal Santal, which I'll just use my Mont Blanc Individuel. I've really wanted to like Creed, but just can't justify the price. I'll stick to my PDMs, ADPs, and Amouages, I think they offer more value.
i have many batches of aventus and 19x01 of AC. AC is nice for warmer months, but it's just a shell of the king. i really don't need this as it's aventus neutered. that said, don't disrepect AC by comparing it to TRASH chanel allure
I have a sample of Aventus cologne. It’s ok. I actually prefer explorer or coach platinum over it. I’m not sure if a full bottle makes a difference. I got a 2 ml sample from scentsplit.

Go to Alexandria fragrances and buy Cacao dreams and Dark Knight. You won't regret it.

I sold mine and got the Parfums Vintage version. It's much better.
