Nice.. I would put a pantyhose leg high over the filter and also weather stripping all the way around under the pantyhose. Also don’t waste money on vaccum attachment for lint just buy a 3ft swifter duster to clean coils off every five loads.
@FuryJDM ua-cam.com/video/pU3RN8MMdIw/v-deo.htmlsi=nCb7PFvqFlss3cye. Works like a charm. The weather strip keeps the lint from bypassing the filter gaps. Same with thicker foam on back. However I put liquid epoxy in the far back plastic matrix. After the epoxy dries it gives a smooth flat surface for the self adhere foam to stick to. 6 months now and my coils looks as clean as day one. You do need to clean/scrape the filter every couple of washes especially after towels that shed alot of lint. This modification will make your machine a happy camper.
Just stay ontop of cleaning the lint screen... that's the biggest issue this machine has. There is a clean out at the bottom of the machine as well to clear the drain. Enjoy saving all that electricity.
I totally agree! They delivered the 3rd machine yesterday wish GE would let us exchange it for something that will work and has been around for years this thing is a total nightmare! They keep replacing it with the same machine.
@@Theloverboy2987 GE does need to fix the loose filter issue but a cheap simple modification to the filter seems to fix this issue. Saving a ton of electricity with this machine vs my old electric dryer, so a few bucks on material and a little effort is well worth it.

Thanks for the comment. I’ll look into that
That weather strip hack works like a charm.....highly recommend.
@@sshoemakersscan you expand on this one?

@@caffieneoracle5147 I’m ocd on the lint screen so it suits me well
Enjoy all the problems. This machine should have never been released. Never buying a GE all in one again. I’ll get an LG or Samsung next time.
