I totally agree! They delivered the 3rd machine yesterday wish GE would let us exchange it for something that will work and has been around for years this thing is a total nightmare! They keep replacing it with the same machine.

@@Theloverboy2987 GE does need to fix the loose filter issue but a cheap simple modification to the filter seems to fix this issue. Saving a ton of electricity with this machine vs my old electric dryer, so a few bucks on material and a little effort is well worth it.

However I put liquid epoxy in the far back plastic matrix. After the epoxy dries it gives a smooth flat surface for the self adhere foam to stick to. 6 months now and my coils looks as clean as day one. You do need to clean/scrape the filter every couple of washes especially after towels that shed alot of lint. This modification will make your machine a happy camper.

@@SamVechtomov low power crank or healthy crank? Car is pretty straightforward. Even with a bad alternator…car will start. I’d test your battery 🔋 for health. Keep it simple if you know your connections are good. If you have a spare battery from another car…plug it in. Then you’ll have your answer. Next. Check your main fusible link to make sure it’s not smoked from a short.

@ welp it ended up being the starter signal wire, when I removed the old alternator i guess it pulled the pin out of the plug. I repinned the plug and it fired up right away. Had to take the alternator out and use my camera to find that.

Would not recommend driving it at all without a tune brother. Anytime you mod the subie. Expect to have a tune on deck to make it all run properly. Don’t want the engine to go lean, etc

All comes off very easily. And I’d venture to say in my glovebox removals on Lexus that it will be very similar 💪🏼

It is a different temp. Yes. But helps when you don’t want it super bright for a quick on and off without killing your eyes during night driving.

@@FuryJDM have you faced a problem with touching main light where its suddenly turns off after one second of lighting up? I have an RC dome light. With door opened it works very good but not when you drive. :(

MAF will eventually "max" out in a sense in the Subaru. Smoother idle. Ease of tuning for more air w/bigger turbo, flex, a lot of reasons why and the location of the sensor near the intake plenum vs out in the bay near the filter. Lots of reasons. It can come down to preference, but with a good tuner. Its a no brainer.

I don’t think I follow the question Jwhap. I’d say this is more for your tires to not wear out as quickly. With this not being tied to your power steering…it might not be what you’re looking for. I think paired with a good alignment and better adjustability of arms, bushings, tie rods etc it would enhance the feel of your driving experience when you make a turn and step on the gas

Andrew. I look at the addition as a piece to the puzzle. I combined this brace in the trunk with Cusco braces under the car / sway bars / other bracing to rigid up the chassis. So yes in a sense. I think as a one piece install it may not necessarily deliver what rigidity would be preferable

Mainly, flow potential of RED is much better...The RED is able to make more power albeit at the price of a tiny bit of boost lag, but modern tech is getting so much better. Room to grow with RED vs having to do it again with a GREEN. Hope that helps

Just tried to install mine and having the same issue.

@@mjyporter yeah, its because Lexus makes two types of these map light assemblies and only one of them really works in the IS. If the two plastic fingers are toward the rear, then the assembly cant be fully secured. It will work in the IS, if the fingers point toward the windshield.
