For your word wall, have your Golden Emerson award winner write the words for the week. They get ownership of the room, while you don't have to worry about perfection. That, or have students who like art/creative penmanship work on it.
Love this! It totally stinks that you don’t get off on Monday! We do here! I’m always getting new ideas from you and love shopping from your Amazon list! You spoke to my soul when you talked about how short weeks are great, but the work still needs to get done in less time! Non teachers would not understand that! 😂 you are such an amazing teacher and I love how you continue to inspire me to be my best even though I have been doing this for 27 years!
Hi, Michelle! As always, I enjoyed catching up on how things are going in your life. I like how you utilize pockets of downtime during professional developments to get your grading done. I like to do the same thing, because it is so challenging to get all of our tasks done. That is such a good use of time. I'm also pumped to see the room transformation classroom that you were talking about. What a good idea to have an area already set up that can be used by any of the teachers. I hope you have an amazing birthday on October 14th. Thanks for all you do! 💜
Happy to see you back in the classroom!!! Love how you plan and share your journey back into teaching. Don’t worry about the s, it’s perfect and shows your students that it’s okay not to have things exactly the way you would like them.
Your word wall is #goals!! I wouldn’t worry about how your bubble lettering looks! It really looks pretty good! It definitely takes practice! I have a saying that has been said to me and that is “you aren’t (ain’t if you are southern) by yourself! I love how you are handling everything and I will reiterate your students are so blessed to have you as their teacher!!
Michelle, You need to tell your school to present a proposal to the US Congress about making a YOU Day for the schools national because it will help more than just the teachers. It will also help the students and give them something to look forward to and give them a day to exhale during the school year. Way to go, school ...... whomever that school is. I wish that was in place back when I was a young autistic school student. - Dwight
Love your Interactive Board!! Such a great idea and I can see why your students really enjoyed it. Love, love, love doing transformation rooms! This is a strategy I did to help keep students engaged and it really helps. I am excited to see that Vlog!
Yes, if you have time, it would be great to see a vlog on PLCs. I'm interested in individual voice within the group voice, efficiency tips, and planning/data collection tips. Any of this would be appreciated!
Do not print those science letters! Your bubble writing is absolutely fine- better than printing which takes time.⏱️Michelle, I think your school is a really good school- right priorities 👏 This was a very enjoyable video to watch!🎉

I am first year 5th grade teacher, Michelle, thank you all that you do! You have been such an inspiration for me!!
I love that your classroom vlogs are back. You seem very busy but also very happy!

You'll envy our local system than they don't go on Mondays at all
You are the kind of teacher our children need. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Love your interactive word wall! I am an Instructional Coach and will share with teachers. Glad your year is going well!
For bubble letters…try writing the word first then put your bubble or block around it then erase the middle letter you wrote.
Your classroom is like a dream. Is it possible for you to make videos on PLC or things that the district people observe in a classroom?

I actually love the funky “S”! It’s a “mixture”! I say keep it!
Loving the interactive word wall!!
im not even 15 yet an i have wanted to be a teacher since I was in kindergarten and I love you vids
Very UDL word wall, eg with the artifacts!! Nice! Happy YOU Day!
A suggestion for the yearly trainings : create a document that has all of the questions and answers so that you can use it year after year!
You’ve inspired me to create my own interactive word wall. I’ve been putting my stuff on a bulletin board. I wish I had more whiteboard space.
I haven't used Kahoot forca while, but the new one sounds like Class Dojo's "Dojo Island"
I love your t-shirt! Where did you get it from please?
I would have traced the S from Science 😂. I’m terrible at writing on a white board too!
I wish we got short weeks. Our next day off isn't until Thanksgiving.
Is there a link to order a similar tee-shirt???
Where can I find the Math Keywords poster that is on your bulletin board?
As a teacher I also really like Kahoot but unfortunately I can't buy it - it is too much for me.
peace be upon you from me
Why not do a week at a time like old time
