An absolutely fantastic tramway journey, I throughly enjoy every single minute of it. The information about the Old Bern Town was very informative, particularly as we traveled through the streets, quit picturesque indeed. Such a wee planned out public transportation infrastructure for Bern. Please whenever possible, more videos like this will be greatly appreciated. Again, thank you.
Thank you Hugo for yet another excellent video with very informative captions. I am always impressed by the Bern transport system. It is amazingly extensive for a city whose total population (including suburbs) is only about a quarter of a million. It is worth also noting that 27 October was a Sunday. Yet there were clearly quite a lot of passengers! And note that all main tram and bus routes run every TEN minutes on Sundays. (That is better than Sunday services in most other European cities outside Switzerland.)
Thank you so much for the kind comment Roger! Yeah, Bern has a really decent transport system indeed, you're quite right! And yeah this was a sunday evening and as always, the frequency impresses for sure!!😊😊
You're very welcome Bruce! More to come from Bern and indeed it's such a picturesque city to visit, especially with weather like on that day with the alps towering the landscape in the background!!
Thanks for an enjoyable video. We use the Number 9 tram a lot whenever we’re in Bern - our good friend and host lives just around the corner from the Wander stop.
When I was in Bern in the 70th they have 3 tram linies with it's own type of trams, L3 has the shortes, single tram, L6 has a longer in 2 parts and L9 has the longest in 2 parts, they also have trolleybusses at that time to. Over that 2 bridges there was 2 suburban tram linies that I sadly never toke a ride on.
Just a small information about Titanic II: The FOITT is no longer situated there as it moved to Zollikofen (Eichenweg) in 2021/2022. As of now the building is empty (apart from some last servers that will be migrated soon). Currently the BBL is administering the building again and there‘s nothing known about the future tenant to move in.

I'm so delighted to hear that!! Thank you very much for your kind words! Many more videos are on their way from Bern and else where!😁😁

Enjoying your Cab ride video from Vancouver. I watch on my man PC monitor & follow a route map on my 2nd monitor. Thanks for posting.
The commentary was excellent, thank you.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Many thanks, Hugo, for adding to my tiny knowledge of Bern; I was there for only a day, but saw the main sights. Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺

Thank you very much for that piece of info! I wasn't aware that it had moved recently! I'll male sure to correct that piece of information! Thanks :)
Perhaps it could become the headquarters of the Swiss Navy?
لقطات مذهلة..! شكرآ لك 🍁👑🌹
Really cool. Will you post a cab-ride from one of Geneva's line (especially line 12) one day ?
Not yet, but one day I do intend on venturing into the tram network in Geneva, hopefully! :)
Schöne stadt so kann man auch welt erkunden :)
Tatsächlich!! :))
So, an extension approved in 2014 is taking 11 years to get underway.
Pretty standard here ;)
Gern meh for Bernmobil! :)
Kommt bald!!

Ist die Ansage defekt?!
Die Ansagen wurden normal abgespielt, allerdings sind sie im Führerstand kaum hörbar, Gruss vom Trämeler im Video ;-)
:-))
