I main support/mage in ranked mainly due to getting a support that won't rotate around the map and kill steal/feed and I wish that Moonton would add placements to help people get better at understanding how they play and where to improve I'm really tired of trying to keep people alive so we can push but it's like that old saying goes "can't win them all" anyway happy new year and hope everyone gets to at least mythic in the new year
Yeah there are not a lot of people with common sense in any role,but in general we need support/roamers like you cause all players avoid that role especially in solo q

I've been playing this game for 9 months now so I'm not that good right now. My wr last season was only 49% and my final rank was mythic 3. I love Khaleed he is very strong early game with his sustain from the second skill and his damage from his first skill, but I think the main reason he isn't picked much is because he falls off in late game. In my opinion I think they should give his first skill less damage in the early game but much higher damage late game, for example Terizla has a skill that can hit enemies three times just like Khaleed but Terizla's damage from his second skill is high in early game (you can easily zone your enemies out) and in late game his damage is still fairly high. Khaleed on the other hand his first skill has good damage early game but it doesn't have enough damage late game in total it will deal around 1100 damage (300first spin,350second spin,450third spin) in the early game but late game in total his first skill does around 1600 damage(400first spin,550second spin,650third spin). I don't know if it is the skills damage scaling or my build (warrior/tough boots, blade of heptaseas, bloodlust axe, guardian helmet/Dominance Ice, Athena's shield(against burst mages)/radiant armour(against DPS mages) last is immortality/Antique Cuirass. I don't know if it just my build that is holding him back so if you have recommendations I am open for any of them. Thanks
khaleed is a sustain fighter much like lapu lapu. Their job in late game is to be annoying and hope that your backline has damage. At high rank you either build full dmg to one shot the enemies, or go full tank. In between doesn't quite work.
My Final win rate last season was like 67% I went from Master IV to Mythic IV with 2 months left I started watching your videos once I reached Grandmaster 2(?) and tried to actually rank up (I never played ranked once I reached Epic in the past, draft scared me) and I'm pretty proud that I got from GM to Legend in 1/2 weeks Thanks for the guides
Same but I only reached from warrior to epic cause the season was about to end and cause I usually play at night the internet usually is not on my side so I only got 60% win rate
I'm proud to myself and proud to say that I reached mythical glory in Solo wether I almost have 300 ranked matches it is 290 ranked matches actually compare to other pro players that they reached MG in only 100 matches below but I'm still proud of myself. You can do it also just believe your self and you need to trust your teammates I know there are many toxic players and trolls but don't stop if you lose.
Reached it for the first time last season aswell, kinda felt that soloQ in mythic 3 to 1 was a lot easier them legend till mythic 4 xD but that is coming from someone who mostly played support last season, getting relaiable teammates is worth so much xD And as soon as I reached glory my winrate droped by 2%, and stayed like that till the end of the season xD

I had a game yesterday where my jungler was taking the lord, i manage to kill all the enemies except MM as a gord with afew of my team of course, but the clint positioned himself so well in the team fight, luckily out jungler is alive and had retribution to take the lord, no hes saving it for next game, then i lost that game becuz of it
Hey, so i just started playing like two weeks ago and im loving it, but the learning has been so so tough, because there are so many things that even when explained i dont understand em. So i was thinking, it could be a great idea to make a detailed guide for players go start from scratch with zero knowledge overall from mobas, maybe doing a steo by steo guide of how a match should go would be awesome. Your guides have helped me A LOT, but i still kinda struggle sometimes
don't worry you'll get used to the game someday. also I recommend a yt channel named "Betosky" that posts gameplays, try watching his videos because you'll learn alot from him just by observing his in game decisions.
Fr the main problem I had was being too aggressive when I play as jungler or mm don't be aggressive play passive in early game get 1 or 2 kills here and there if you want to be aggressive just buy tanks because then you can be aggressive without dying
best advice is to just get more experience with the game, anything helps like watching guides from ml guide, lyrick tutorials and others (although the second one is for more advanced tips) or gameplay videos, or just simply playing more lol as long as you're actively trying to learn and more importantly having fun while playing you're gonna be fine. theres also no need to rush "getting good" at the game it took me like 2 years of playing to hit mythic for the first time
1:53 HAHAHAHAHAHAJHA That took me surprised. That's so true tbh. In mythic and above rank, the game can literally be ended within 12-17 mins yet they either choose to farm or spam recall instead of destroying the base.
I feel like people underestimate how hard it is to be a tank. I always die in a situation where they can secure the kill, but they just retreat and die themselves, and then they say something like "bv tank". Or my team's mm refuses to attack a strong enemy once I've stun comboed(not sure if this is actually a word) them. And many times, just going solo as a tank, I've got the enemy below 50% hp, but our main damage dealers just recall despite being well over 70% hp for no reason, they don't even clear the waves. Many times, I even tank the damage of a low hp turret, but my teammates just hide in bushes instead of helping me take it down, so I just die with the turret LITERALLY AT 27HP AND THEN THEY JUST SUICIDE BC THEY FORGET THEY CAN'T ACTUALLY GET THOSE KILLS WITHOUT ME, AND THEN THEY BLAME ME FOR "FEEDING"!!(sorry for yell)
This is why me, as a tank main, don’t enjoy roaming in solo Q. Sometimes I give vision around lord while most of the enemy is dead, but they’re either split pushing or clearing jungle creeps. If you have the chance to take lord, just take it. The only reason you should split push, in the late game, is if the minions are close to the enemy inhibitor turrets and it’s safe to do so (one enemy is defending and the rest are dead for example).
Yeah same. Just in my last game, we managed to make a comeback because I kept saving my teammates via hooks since im a franco main and majority of the opponents are burst mages. But in the end, my team mates got too cocky, spamming recalls. I got 11 6 16, and is the mvp, but what can i do, its not like I can dps them down, so in the end, we lost
Roamers in soloq suffer the most due to their inability to carry, but they still can dictate whether the game goes to them or the enemy, still depends if your teammates can cooperate or not

In my early days I almost only exclusively played tank. Not to lift my own chair but I could really say I was great at it, being objective-focused and always looking out for ways to bring my team to an advantage. Despite that though, my winrates with tank heroes (as a soloQ player) only average around ~55%. I did reach mythic 2 with tanks before, but too many games are dictated not by a single team fight, but by the quality of the marksmen and the jungler in the late game. I slowly taught myself how to play jungler and marksmen, and my winrates with them are 60% at the minimum. I no longer waste a lot of my time in the season stuck in Legend 2 unlike the past seasons where I mostly played tank; I can now carry myself straight to mythic within a few dozen games. It's even better now since we can now show our best recent games/achievements to convince our team to swap us up. I do still play tank once in a while, but only when I am convinced that our teammate who wants to play jungler has decent winrate and is reliable enough. If he shows good stats, I will even swap him up and play tank myself.

Hey, can you do an up to date video on how to counter pick heroes? Like, which heroes majorly counter the other heroes, which ones minorly counter other heroes, which heroes are bad options to use against other heroes, etc. I feel like this is where I struggle the most, because I do play a wide variety of heroes but I don't know how to counter pick. I would really appreciate some assistance, thanks.
the reason why i play jungler is cuz in epical glory u will see too many ppl that play jungler and do this A)Take 3 mins to get to level 4 B)Don't listen to ur team pings to take lord or turtle C)just mindlessly jumps into a 1v4
Playing on losing streak is definitely bad. Personally, I pause the moment I lose 1 game. Have a quick 5 or 10 minute break, then continue. It helps me get myself mentally prepared. And it's not just in ML, it's most games really. Only exception I guess are card games like YGO where a lot of players have accepted that losing because of bad luck is normal, plus the fact that you play alone, without a team, so there's less stress

I pushed my rank in 45 days from epic IV to Mythic 2 402points, i played all solo queue. If your gonna play solo queue this season too then you must know how to play every role at least should know all the hero basics and how their skills are, i personally can play tank, mage, assasin, marksmen, fighter just i dont play support. You counted the days? xD but I agree, knowing the basics of every role is hella helpful. And I say while having reached glory last season by picking one hero over and over xD that was only possible though cause starting from mythic 3 almost any team had no problem with me taking roam xD they could all adjust accordingly... and in the rare cases that someone else actully wanted to play roam, I could just go mage or exp, don't think I ever had to go gold or jungle at that point... 43 of the last 50 games being Support games does help though, people don't want to give you any other role xD
There is a simple solution to that, and it's an expansion to the draft pick mechanics in league of Legends : you can only pick a hero if you lock in the lane you want to play in. First, pick a lane, then pick a hero. If you then proceed to not play on that respective lane/pick a hero that is not meant to play on that lane (which is just super obvious in high ranks, everyone with basic understanding of the games mechanics know what hero plays on what lane) the remaining picks can then decide to either dodge the game or collectively report that one player. There should be a "report for trolling button", and if you collect several of these reports within a few games in a row, and you have a certain amount of bronze medals within those games, you just get a ranked ban for 3 days, period. This can be completely automated and is basically an error free punishement because it relys on several, not connected opinions from different people. This way casual bots that got boosted to higher ranks have to either learn how the game works or just get closed out of competetive matchmaking entirely. Further more rank drops at the end of the season should be more severe. I have no problem at all to rank back into glory even when I start at the master elo, as I did several times with alt accounts, but people just waiting until someone has enough pitty towards them to carry them to higher ranks would finally face a rank cap that they can't just cheat their way through with boosting, since high ranked players just speed through the first 3 ranks within 2 days and then the rank difference makes it impossible for them to play with low elo players. The reason why epic is such a bad elo is because the skill difference of 3 elos concentrate there at every season start, and it's such an obvious error I don't know how they didn't get that by now. Edit : I forgot to mention a specific thing about drafting : I'm a gusion main with closing in on 3000 individual matches played on him in total, 1000 of them are ranked with a 62% WR. It is by far not my fault if I lose a game when my teammate who has at maximum of 500 jungler games decide to ban gusion and pick jungle with his crapy 45% WR 120 games hanzo just to annoy me. There should be a mechanic to punish arrogant, clueless and straight out bad players to prevent them from taking that from experienced players. Rank the players in draft not randomly, but by games played, and make it impossible to ban heros that got pre-picked. If I went through years of draft hell and earned my place in this game of beeing an experienced player, it should be impossible by some random casual bot to prevent me from carrying the game. Make it impossible to pick retribution more then once within a team composition by enabling the dodge option right away when someone else has that spell enabled. Just introduce RULES to competetive gameplay man. The reason why every random behaves like this is because there is no drawback. I lose 2 points for trash talking, get muted for 2 hours and in that time frame I automatically gain them back because I can't write stuff. People only get zoned out for repeated afk'ing, and that's just not enough.
there are several ways to reach mythical glory. it also depends on the rank where you are playing. like when you're in epic tier (from ph btw) most the players their would just pick whatever they can think of. they will not even bother adjust or draft properly. so with that, you need to always pick your best hero or hero that you think can carry. for example, i always pick jungler, since i am Jungler main myself. in legend tier it's almost the same thing as epic so do the same as much as possible. in mythic just rotate often, in mythical glory, be mindful with the picks. as the players in that tier players often creates synergy with their hero picks. so adjust for the team's composition. and rotate fast. remember you don't need to go for meta always. you're in solo queue so anything is possible.
9:39 this is actually helpful since if you focus on just one role every single match you will one day meet someone in your team who would pick your role and you can't do anything about it.

Talking about sacrificing yourself i once actually sacrificed myself for that w using ruby i baited the entire enemy team to chase me they used ults on me and eventually killed me but they chased me far enough to were when they killed me our assassin has already killed there mm and a team fight has started with like 4 of the enemies already used there ults , it was a 5for1 trade that right after it we won so i was like , yep totally worth it
I just wish you get more popular so some epical glory players see this and do ducking better like i was the core I was doing everything objectives pushing and farming what were my teammates doing they were farming taking my buff and creeps on our side they should have cleared the minions I can't get out of epic every end season
fyi u can escape from aamon's ult by using flicker at the right moment before his ult hit u. it quiet tricky because u need to perfectly calculate his ult with ur flicker.
Your videos are so golden, when it comes to information. A lot of players should watch these. I personally like the "Change your mindset" video. I now try very hard not to be toxic to my teammates, but I do call them out if they do something stupid. Matchmaking though is still rigged. You can't go into 5 winstreak as MVP or else your rank will be tagged as higher than your real rank. And low-skilled, low winrate players can still reach Mythic in order to populate the matchmaking pool.
No 5 is so true. I never know that i could be a good Melissa player until i pick her. I was hesitant about picking Melissa in the past because i never really understand how to use her properly. Last season, I had a 61% WR over 185 matches. Got to Mythic II but I'll get to MG someday. :) As a Mage/Tank main myself, I guess the first one is why Edith has the highest WR for me (80% over 29 matches). Can't trust the MM? You can push on her Ult form. I make sure to do at least 3 Turrets worth of Push DMG if I'm playing someone who can push. Also, I find it irritating that people just CAN'T TOWER LOCK THE BASE. Jesus...
1 hero that i recommend people play is bane . You could use him as a sidelaner, jungler even as a mage (but i dont recommend playing him with magic items). This octopus could shred turrets hp with only 2 core items.
Finally I reached Mythic!!!!! With a winrate of 80% and also with a winstreak of 15 matches OMG I can't believe it after all this time finally!!!!!! And you guessed it when I check my stats I did it all by pushing 😂
My overall wr last season was 58% but on my main hero was 70% over 160 matches then on my sub main heroes was around the 60-65 rest weren't as good as large hero pool or I had inexperience in other lanes as I tried to expand to mage from gold lane. Gold lane and jg I know what to pick easily based upon enemy but other lanes I gotta get used to that. Anyhow I reached mg 759 points, but I still love watching videos on tutorials and even the tournaments, also love looking at what I did wrong each match as you can always improve. In solo q i can play all the role but i got the first and second in the draft pick and my team mate don't tell the the role they want or request the Hero they want.but in the end they don't want to adjust.thats frustating bruhhhh🤬🤬🤬🤬

11. Dont recall spam if you dont have a cool recall , its cringe . 12. When you are winning and the enmies are stuck in their base , they get 2 vision missile thingies , when they shoot them you become visible . So thats one of the best time to spam recall . They can see it in mini map . 13. When you are hit by a long range skill that give enemies your vision you can see a yellow eye on you , again a best time for recall . 14.If you are playing a hero that has a delayed burst like Harley or Amon , before they die spam recall if they can see you 15. If you take a 1 shot combo hero to gold lane to kill mm , you cant beat them till you get some of your skills , so they might get confident , but you can still kill them with the combo . So again , another good time to spam recall . Hope this help you
THANK YOU. You simply said what I have been saying so many times. The objective is to destroy the enemy base, that is the only way to win, other than them surrendering. No matter how many kills or deaths you have, as long as you help in every objective, you’ll definitely win. I play core and I try to do everything because everyone is playing like it is one lane brawl.
I think the worst teammate I've her had are the junglers that don't jungle and midlaners who neve went back to the midlane. They tend to get stuck in their situation and completely forget their role. Ooohh and gold laners who forces the roamer to stay with them cause they can't survive from their opponent. That usually happens when theyre way too aggressive in the early game. I also extremely agree to the part where to rest whenever you're on a lose streak. Those loses will throw you out of your game and just keep on making mistakes even if you didn't mean on doing it. my wr last season was 66.7% (42 rg matches; I usually play brawl)

I did a classic game but everyone chose fighters.We were loosing with 18:2 and I tried to help my teammates with paquito.After a long 30 minutes game we made a comeback and won so everything is possible

You started the lord even knowing that your teammates wont be around, giving the enemy team visual cue at the same time allowing them to position to try and attempt to steal lord expecting your whole team will be there but ends up seeing a lone tank doing lord alone.
Happy New year to all!....I just wanted add one vital thing for the headless chickens who ignore objectives. No matter how hard we try it is impossible to win a match solo so you will need a good team to rank up and solo queue is hell these days. So better rank up with a team than rely on some unknown idiots.
Last season I placed 524 points Mythic 1 in 148 games straight from Epic 4 after having not played for around 2 seasons. (My old phone couldn't handle the game anymore.) My main tip is to specialize 1 hero for every role, maybe 2 heroes at most. Focus on learning 1 hero so that you can learn the ins and outs of every matchup possible, for example, if I were tasked to play fighter, I almost only ever use Dyrroth. By playing him again and again, I learned that I am greatly in an advantage when against Zilong, Sun, Balmond, Silvanna, Guin, Esme, Uranus, Lapu-lapu, Yu Zhong, etc. However, I also learned that I am in a major disadvantage when against Masha and Argus (once reaching level 4). Picking Dyrroth against them is an uphill battle that takes more luck than skill to overcome. I also know that facing against Paquito, Thamuz, and Khaleed can be tricky, but doable. But I would need more than 100% of my concentration to not lose badly in this matchup and bring my team to a disadvantage. Depending on how I'm feeling, I might opt out of picking dyrroth against these heroes and go for a safer fighter pick like Lapu-Lapu. This concept also applies to other picks. For example, when picking a marksman, don't pick a short range marksman (like miya, karrie) against a Clint for example. You'll end up bullied in the first five minutes in lane, and you will tilt when your teammates who are too busy fighting for their lives elsewhere are ignoring your cries for help (from the problem you caused yourself by drafting badly). But if the draft has already been finalized and you are at a disadvantage, think up of a strategy and communicate early on what you need from your team so you can at least have a decent farm up to the mid game. People who walk in to the battlefield with a plan has a massively greater advantage than the ones who just mindlessly wander towards their tower.
Knowing what workes and what does not work on your hero can be so useful xD I more or less unintentionally became a Carmilla one-trick last season. Knowing what'll work and what could get tricky is hella helpful. But being that one-trick only worked as well cause roam isn't much fought over. I usually I have a hero for each role I can play... I didn't have a mm for last season, ironically it was still the first season I reached glory xD
I reached mytical this past season, my secret? Spam Lolita. Low pick rate high winrate. One ult can wipe out enemy team. You counter MM and some mages. Franco also is countered. Sorry english is not my first language.
Solo Queued and to mythical glory, objective conversion is the biggest problem, after kills, they don’t push for objectives, be it turrets or lord. Instead of taking gold plating in the early, most mm I see end up farming gold crab. 2nd is draft, I understand you just went 20 and 0 with Selena support last game, but there’s a chance the enemy now has a minsithar or Khufra, oh wait they now have a khufra and we have no tank to CC them… 3rd is game sense, this video includes one of the mistakes. There are some hero’s that you shouldn’t try to beat to the lord, balmond and Vexana are very good examples, so just split push if they aren’t dead.

I main support/mage in ranked mainly due to getting a support that won't rotate around the map and kill steal/feed and I wish that Moonton would add placements to help people get better at understanding how they play and where to improve I'm really tired of trying to keep people alive so we can push but it's like that old saying goes "can't win them all" anyway happy new year and hope everyone gets to at least mythic in the new year
Yeah there are not a lot of people with common sense in any role,but in general we need support/roamers like you cause all players avoid that role especially in solo q

I love Khaleed he is very strong early game with his sustain from the second skill and his damage from his first skill, but I think the main reason he isn't picked much is because he falls off in late game. In my opinion I think they should give his first skill less damage in the early game but much higher damage late game, for example Terizla has a skill that can hit enemies three times just like Khaleed but Terizla's damage from his second skill is high in early game (you can easily zone your enemies out) and in late game his damage is still fairly high. Khaleed on the other hand his first skill has good damage early game but it doesn't have enough damage late game in total it will deal around 1100 damage (300first spin,350second spin,450third spin) in the early game but late game in total his first skill does around 1600 damage(400first spin,550second spin,650third spin). I don't know if it is the skills damage scaling or my build (warrior/tough boots, blade of heptaseas, bloodlust axe, guardian helmet/Dominance Ice, Athena's shield(against burst mages)/radiant armour(against DPS mages) last is immortality/Antique Cuirass.
I don't know if it just my build that is holding him back so if you have recommendations I am open for any of them. Thanks
khaleed is a sustain fighter much like lapu lapu. Their job in late game is to be annoying and hope that your backline has damage. At high rank you either build full dmg to one shot the enemies, or go full tank. In between doesn't quite work.

I'm proud to myself and proud to say that I reached mythical glory in Solo wether I almost have 300 ranked matches it is 290 ranked matches actually compare to other pro players that they reached MG in only 100 matches below but I'm still proud of myself. You can do it also just believe your self and you need to trust your teammates I know there are many toxic players and trolls but don't stop if you lose.
Reached it for the first time last season aswell, kinda felt that soloQ in mythic 3 to 1 was a lot easier them legend till mythic 4 xD but that is coming from someone who mostly played support last season, getting relaiable teammates is worth so much xD And as soon as I reached glory my winrate droped by 2%, and stayed like that till the end of the season xD

I had a game yesterday where my jungler was taking the lord, i manage to kill all the enemies except MM as a gord with afew of my team of course, but the clint positioned himself so well in the team fight, luckily out jungler is alive and had retribution to take the lord, no hes saving it for next game, then i lost that game becuz of it
Hey, so i just started playing like two weeks ago and im loving it, but the learning has been so so tough, because there are so many things that even when explained i dont understand em.
So i was thinking, it could be a great idea to make a detailed guide for players go start from scratch with zero knowledge overall from mobas, maybe doing a steo by steo guide of how a match should go would be awesome.

don't worry you'll get used to the game someday. also I recommend a yt channel named "Betosky" that posts gameplays, try watching his videos because you'll learn alot from him just by observing his in game decisions.
Fr the main problem I had was being too aggressive when I play as jungler or mm don't be aggressive play passive in early game get 1 or 2 kills here and there if you want to be aggressive just buy tanks because then you can be aggressive without dying

best advice is to just get more experience with the game, anything helps like watching guides from ml guide, lyrick tutorials and others (although the second one is for more advanced tips) or gameplay videos, or just simply playing more lol as long as you're actively trying to learn and more importantly having fun while playing you're gonna be fine. theres also no need to rush "getting good" at the game it took me like 2 years of playing to hit mythic for the first time

I feel like people underestimate how hard it is to be a tank. I always die in a situation where they can secure the kill, but they just retreat and die themselves, and then they say something like "bv tank". Or my team's mm refuses to attack a strong enemy once I've stun comboed(not sure if this is actually a word) them. And many times, just going solo as a tank, I've got the enemy below 50% hp, but our main damage dealers just recall despite being well over 70% hp for no reason, they don't even clear the waves. Many times, I even tank the damage of a low hp turret, but my teammates just hide in bushes instead of helping me take it down, so I just die with the turret LITERALLY AT 27HP AND THEN THEY JUST SUICIDE BC THEY FORGET THEY CAN'T ACTUALLY GET THOSE KILLS WITHOUT ME, AND THEN THEY BLAME ME FOR "FEEDING"!!(sorry for yell)

This is why me, as a tank main, don’t enjoy roaming in solo Q. Sometimes I give vision around lord while most of the enemy is dead, but they’re either split pushing or clearing jungle creeps. If you have the chance to take lord, just take it. The only reason you should split push, in the late game, is if the minions are close to the enemy inhibitor turrets and it’s safe to do so (one enemy is defending and the rest are dead for example).
Yeah same. Just in my last game, we managed to make a comeback because I kept saving my teammates via hooks since im a franco main and majority of the opponents are burst mages. But in the end, my team mates got too cocky, spamming recalls. I got 11 6 16, and is the mvp, but what can i do, its not like I can dps them down, so in the end, we lost
Roamers in soloq suffer the most due to their inability to carry, but they still can dictate whether the game goes to them or the enemy, still depends if your teammates can cooperate or not

In my early days I almost only exclusively played tank. Not to lift my own chair but I could really say I was great at it, being objective-focused and always looking out for ways to bring my team to an advantage. Despite that though, my winrates with tank heroes (as a soloQ player) only average around ~55%. I did reach mythic 2 with tanks before, but too many games are dictated not by a single team fight, but by the quality of the marksmen and the jungler in the late game.
I slowly taught myself how to play jungler and marksmen, and my winrates with them are 60% at the minimum. I no longer waste a lot of my time in the season stuck in Legend 2 unlike the past seasons where I mostly played tank; I can now carry myself straight to mythic within a few dozen games. It's even better now since we can now show our best recent games/achievements to convince our team to swap us up.
I do still play tank once in a while, but only when I am convinced that our teammate who wants to play jungler has decent winrate and is reliable enough. If he shows good stats, I will even swap him up and play tank myself.
I roam with damage faramis does well in teamfights and my doesn’t lack survivability because of his ult and in my case he never gets banned anymore

Hey, can you do an up to date video on how to counter pick heroes? Like, which heroes majorly counter the other heroes, which ones minorly counter other heroes, which heroes are bad options to use against other heroes, etc. I feel like this is where I struggle the most, because I do play a wide variety of heroes but I don't know how to counter pick. Playing on losing streak is definitely bad. Personally, I pause the moment I lose 1 game. Have a quick 5 or 10 minute break, then continue. It helps me get myself mentally prepared. And it's not just in ML, it's most games really. Only exception I guess are card games like YGO where a lot of players have accepted that losing because of bad luck is normal, plus the fact that you play alone, without a team, so there's less stress

I pushed my rank in 45 days from epic IV to Mythic 2 402points, i played all solo queue. If your gonna play solo queue this season too then you must know how to play every role at least should know all the hero basics and how their skills are, i personally can play tank, mage, assasin, marksmen, fighter just i dont play support. You counted the days? xD but I agree, knowing the basics of every role is hella helpful. And I say while having reached glory last season by picking one hero over and over xD that was only possible though cause starting from mythic 3 almost any team had no problem with me taking roam xD they could all adjust accordingly... and in the rare cases that someone else actully wanted to play roam, I could just go mage or exp, don't think I ever had to go gold or jungle at that point... 43 of the last 50 games being Support games does help though, people don't want to give you any other role xD
There is a simple solution to that, and it's an expansion to the draft pick mechanics in league of Legends : you can only pick a hero if you lock in the lane you want to play in. First, pick a lane, then pick a hero. If you then proceed to not play on that respective lane/pick a hero that is not meant to play on that lane (which is just super obvious in high ranks, everyone with basic understanding of the games mechanics know what hero plays on what lane) the remaining picks can then decide to either dodge the game or collectively report that one player. There should be a "report for trolling button", and if you collect several of these reports within a few games in a row, and you have a certain amount of bronze medals within those games, you just get a ranked ban for 3 days, period. This can be completely automated and is basically an error free punishement because it relys on several, not connected opinions from different people. This way casual bots that got boosted to higher ranks have to either learn how the game works or just get closed out of competetive matchmaking entirely.
Further more rank drops at the end of the season should be more severe. I have no problem at all to rank back into glory even when I start at the master elo, as I did several times with alt accounts, but people just waiting until someone has enough pitty towards them to carry them to higher ranks would finally face a rank cap that they can't just cheat their way through with boosting, since high ranked players just speed through the first 3 ranks within 2 days and then the rank difference makes it impossible for them to play with low elo players. The reason why epic is such a bad elo is because the skill difference of 3 elos concentrate there at every season start, and it's such an obvious error I don't know how they didn't get that by now.
Edit : I forgot to mention a specific thing about drafting : I'm a gusion main with closing in on 3000 individual matches played on him in total, 1000 of them are ranked with a 62% WR. It is by far not my fault if I lose a game when my teammate who has at maximum of 500 jungler games decide to ban gusion and pick jungle with his crapy 45% WR 120 games hanzo just to annoy me. There should be a mechanic to punish arrogant, clueless and straight out bad players to prevent them from taking that from experienced players. Rank the players in draft not randomly, but by games played, and make it impossible to ban heros that got pre-picked. If I went through years of draft hell and earned my place in this game of beeing an experienced player, it should be impossible by some random casual bot to prevent me from carrying the game. Make it impossible to pick retribution more then once within a team composition by enabling the dodge option right away when someone else has that spell enabled. Just introduce RULES to competetive gameplay man. The reason why every random behaves like this is because there is no drawback. I lose 2 points for trash talking, get muted for 2 hours and in that time frame I automatically gain them back because I can't write stuff. People only get zoned out for repeated afk'ing, and that's just not enough.

there are several ways to reach mythical glory. it also depends on the rank where you are playing. like when you're in epic tier (from ph btw) most the players their would just pick whatever they can think of. they will not even bother adjust or draft properly. so with that, you need to always pick your best hero or hero that you think can carry. for example, i always pick jungler, since i am Jungler main myself. in legend tier it's almost the same thing as epic so do the same as much as possible. in mythic just rotate often, in mythical glory, be mindful with the picks. as the players in that tier players often creates synergy with their hero picks. so adjust for the team's composition. and rotate fast. remember you don't need to go for meta always. you're in solo queue so anything is possible.

Talking about sacrificing yourself i once actually sacrificed myself for that w using ruby i baited the entire enemy team to chase me they used ults on me and eventually killed me but they chased me far enough to were when they killed me our assassin has already killed there mm and a team fight has started with like 4 of the enemies already used there ults , it was a 5for1 trade that right after it we won so i was like , yep totally worth it
I just wish you get more popular so some epical glory players see this and do ducking better like i was the core I was doing everything objectives pushing and farming what were my teammates doing they were farming taking my buff and creeps on our side they should have cleared the minions I can't get out of epic every end season

fyi u can escape from aamon's ult by using flicker at the right moment before his ult hit u. it quiet tricky because u need to perfectly calculate his ult with ur flicker.
Your videos are so golden, when it comes to information. A lot of players should watch these. I personally like the "Change your mindset" video. I now try very hard not to be toxic to my teammates, but I do call them out if they do something stupid.
Matchmaking though is still rigged.
You can't go into 5 winstreak as MVP or else your rank will be tagged as higher than your real rank.
And low-skilled, low winrate players can still reach Mythic in order to populate the matchmaking pool.

As a Mage/Tank main myself, I guess the first one is why Edith has the highest WR for me (80% over 29 matches). Can't trust the MM? You can push on her Ult form. I make sure to do at least 3 Turrets worth of Push DMG if I'm playing someone who can push. Also, I find it irritating that people just CAN'T TOWER LOCK THE BASE. Jesus...

My overall wr last season was 58% but on my main hero was 70% over 160 matches then on my sub main heroes was around the 60-65 rest weren't as good as large hero pool or I had inexperience in other lanes as I tried to expand to mage from gold lane. Gold lane and jg I know what to pick easily based upon enemy but other lanes I gotta get used to that. Anyhow I reached mg 759 points, but I still love watching videos on tutorials and even the tournaments, also love looking at what I did wrong each match as you can always improve. 11. Dont recall spam if you dont have a cool recall , its cringe .
12. When you are winning and the enmies are stuck in their base , they get 2 vision missile thingies , when they shoot them you become visible . So thats one of the best time to spam recall . They can see it in mini map .
13. When you are hit by a long range skill that give enemies your vision you can see a yellow eye on you , again a best time for recall .
14.If you are playing a hero that has a delayed burst like Harley or Amon , before they die spam recall if they can see you
15. If you take a 1 shot combo hero to gold lane to kill mm , you cant beat them till you get some of your skills , so they might get confident , but you can still kill them with the combo . So again , another good time to spam recall .

THANK YOU. You simply said what I have been saying so many times. The objective is to destroy the enemy base, that is the only way to win, other than them surrendering. No matter how many kills or deaths you have, as long as you help in every objective, you’ll definitely win. I play core and I try to do everything because everyone is playing like it is one lane brawl.

I think the worst teammate I've her had are the junglers that don't jungle and midlaners who neve went back to the midlane. They tend to get stuck in their situation and completely forget their role. Ooohh and gold laners who forces the roamer to stay with them cause they can't survive from their opponent. That usually happens when theyre way too aggressive in the early game.
I also extremely agree to the part where to rest whenever you're on a lose streak. Those loses will throw you out of your game and just keep on making mistakes even if you didn't mean on doing it.

I did a classic game but everyone chose fighters.We were loosing with 18:2 and I tried to help my teammates with paquito.After a long 30 minutes game we made a comeback and won so everything is possible

I agree with the don't trashtalk your teammates, each time my teammates trash talk each other, i know it's a lose for us cause they don't perform as a team, except they perform as enemies.

You started the lord even knowing that your teammates wont be around, giving the enemy team visual cue at the same time allowing them to position to try and attempt to steal lord expecting your whole team will be there but ends up seeing a lone tank doing lord alone.

I always play SoloQ and reached mythic 733 last season. But my winrate eas only 60% though I was MVP like one third of the matches.
Happy New year to all!....I just wanted add one vital thing for the headless chickens who ignore objectives. No matter how hard we try it is impossible to win a match solo so you will need a good team to rank up and solo queue is hell these days. So better rank up with a team than rely on some unknown idiots.
Mini map is important in every games

Last season I placed 524 points Mythic 1 in 148 games straight from Epic 4 after having not played for around 2 seasons. (My old phone couldn't handle the game anymore.)
My main tip is to specialize 1 hero for every role, maybe 2 heroes at most.
Focus on learning 1 hero so that you can learn the ins and outs of every matchup possible,
for example, if I were tasked to play fighter, I almost only ever use Dyrroth. By playing him again and again, I learned that I am greatly in an advantage when against Zilong, Sun, Balmond, Silvanna, Guin, Esme, Uranus, Lapu-lapu, Yu Zhong, etc.
However, I also learned that I am in a major disadvantage when against Masha and Argus (once reaching level 4). Picking Dyrroth against them is an uphill battle that takes more luck than skill to overcome.
I also know that facing against Paquito, Thamuz, and Khaleed can be tricky, but doable. But I would need more than 100% of my concentration to not lose badly in this matchup and bring my team to a disadvantage. Depending on how I'm feeling, I might opt out of picking dyrroth against these heroes and go for a safer fighter pick like Lapu-Lapu.
This concept also applies to other picks. For example, when picking a marksman, don't pick a short range marksman (like miya, karrie) against a Clint for example. You'll end up bullied in the first five minutes in lane, and you will tilt when your teammates who are too busy fighting for their lives elsewhere are ignoring your cries for help (from the problem you caused yourself by drafting badly).
But if the draft has already been finalized and you are at a disadvantage, think up of a strategy and communicate early on what you need from your team so you can at least have a decent farm up to the mid game.
People who walk in to the battlefield with a plan has a massively greater advantage than the ones who just mindlessly wander towards their tower.
Knowing what workes and what does not work on your hero can be so useful xD I more or less unintentionally became a Carmilla one-trick last season. Knowing what'll work and what could get tricky is hella helpful. But being that one-trick only worked as well cause roam isn't much fought over. I usually I have a hero for each role I can play... I didn't have a mm for last season, ironically it was still the first season I reached glory xD
I reached mytical this past season, my secret?
Spam Lolita. Low pick rate high winrate. One ult can wipe out enemy team. You counter MM and some mages. Franco also is countered. Sorry english is not my first language.
Solo Queued and to mythical glory, objective conversion is the biggest problem, after kills, they don’t push for objectives, be it turrets or lord. Instead of taking gold plating in the early, most mm I see end up farming gold crab.
2nd is draft, I understand you just went 20 and 0 with Selena support last game, but there’s a chance the enemy now has a minsithar or Khufra, oh wait they now have a khufra and we have no tank to CC them…
3rd is game sense, this video includes one of the mistakes. There are some hero’s that you shouldn’t try to beat to the lord, balmond and Vexana are very good examples, so just split push if they aren’t dead.
