As a fighter tank main, i always frontline when i use marksman lol, i really like tanking damage and checking bushes for my team, im glad i stopped picking mm now, i did it like 5-10 times and it was so bad
Additional tip: If the enemy has a lot of stun or can burst you down instantly, build 1 or 2 defensive items. It'll slightly affect your damage, but it's better than not dealing damage just because you died at the start of the fight.

A tip for a side laner in general. Make sure that instead of hugging the wall at the corner of the map be at the entrance place of your lane (around the crab part) as you're doing your thing. This is because if an enemy is coming you'll notice them sooner and your tower is closer most of the time where as if you sit in the bush on the wall it'll be too late
I started as a support player and the most important thing I learned is to ALWAYS BE AWARE OF THE MAP. Now I play every role in the game and this help me a lot.
@@MLGuideYT hello ml guide. I'm replying and not writing a comment cause you might not notice my comment. my favourite marksman is brody. His damage is insane and if you get right positioning then you're basically unkillable. Once you're fed in early game you basically won the match
this is why when I play as Hanabi,the best I can is use my 1st skill and attack minions from afar with it so my enemies would be scared of getting damaged by me especially when I don't have a tank in my team but as a tank...you can't expect to protect your MM when a stupid jungler can pass through you and get through your MM immediately...and besides,you're not even that tough to protect your teammates because stupid roaming items won't give you discounts on defense items
It's always stressful to play as a MM when your team aka your Midlaners never rotate or roam to help/gank your lane. It's always the enemy's team that knows how to focus on your lane instead. What pisses me off even more is they tend to blame you when you feed even though they never help you at your lane. Tanks also need to switch their priority protection from time to time, or at least at the Late-game where your MM is the pretty much the key to victory. If your team's MM is at a disadvantage against their counterpart, please do them a favor and help them at least until they're fed enough to be independent.
I'm a midlaner but I usually go to bot/top since mm now is on jungle or midlane that makes it easier for enemies to envade us. Keep in mind that midlaner are more vulnerable than mm. I play as mm too but I always keep in mind that if I can't always relay on my team I have to be able to protect the turrets til I can fight aggressively.
@@Aclehm The Midlaners aren't vulnerable, not as vulnerable as your MM on the sidelane is. When you rotate, you usually go in a trio of Mage, Tank/Support and Jungler to gank their lane. Yes, you can't ALWAYS rely on your team but MM is the MOST vulnerable in the early game, no matter how strong they are in the early game, that just proves how squishy they are. MM are easily killable and if your enemy knew how to constantly prioritize your lane as a MM while your team doesn't help you, well goodluck catching up to the enemy's gold. By the time the you almost reached your 4th item, the enemies are already in full build. It's even worse once you started to fall behind, if your enemy knows how to freeze the lane, there's literally no other way to gain exp and gold aside from stealing your Midlaner's or switch lanes with your EXP laner. Like I said, playing MM is very dependable, at least in the early game. If anything, your team at least needs to rotate once or twice to your lane, moreover if the enemy's team are focusing on you. Of course, it's impossible to get an understanding and cooperative team in all games but communication can work if you try.
I can feel the pain. It's very hard to farm when three man keep ganking ur lane as mm and ur team only chooses to help the fighter sidelane for ganks. It is really frustrating. So when I play mage as midlane or tank I try my best to help the mm if they r in trouble because I know how it feels.
@@Aclehm it's good to be able to hold ur own as mm and not always rely on team but sometimes u don't have a choice when the enemy team knows who to prioritize. Mostly mages r played as midlane and they r definitely stronger than mm in early game and sometimes with a little help from them u can get a bit of control back in ur lane.
The most stressful relationship in-game: When the tank is in the brink of death but the mm is good so it's either you retreat as a mm, die with the tank or wipe the enemy. This situation is the fun part of tanking for solo queue. When you win you're happy, when you die but not your mm then try again later (hopefully), or when you boh died then f***.
My favorite mm is surprisingly Miya. It’s bc in the late game (especially after u get has claws and u have inspire and the immunity thing for mm) then you can basically one shot the enemies before they have a time to react. Now that I am playing Miya more often, try your best to farm as much as possible in the early game and try to pay extra attention to the map at all times. Check where their core is and if u can’t hear anything then don’t get out of ur turrets range until u see where they are or u can get bursted. Also, try to play very safely in the early to mid-ish game until u think that u have the core items u need to play more aggressively before that then just hug the turret and try not to die 👁👄👁. But in the late game she’s a complete new beast and most of my Miya games were comebacks bc she’s best in late game like I said so there’s a very high chance u can win just try not to feed and don’t ever give up with any hero ur playing!
bruh I did that when I uses Miya, after a couple of dying in early game especially when there's gus, fanny, ling and aldous on my enemy side, I learn to be sneaky with her and got MVP!
Can we appreciate how Nico always explains things like zoning, ganking, rotation in every video he mentions them eventhough he has a dedicated video for those topics. It may seem minor to experienced MOBA players but for newer players it helps a lot. I remember watching Shinmen's UFSGs and screenshoting the builds and following his tips beat by beat in my games. I'm a Clint main since season 10, and even though when he's not revamped, he's still strong and defensive. But the revamp makes it better, because he can also farm crabs and waves more quickly. Clint can also evade enemies pretty efficiently and a perfect match with flicker/aegis. He really is the mm king before and still standing until now👑
I can't disagree on this one, I get calm pills whenever I face one. 🧢 But he's indeed hard to play against, as Karrie I have to avoid his blindness and passive which are really difficult to be avoided in high elo.
@@mashedpatatas5857 I suggest thunder belt with haa's claws combined with rose gold meteor if you're facing a dps or tanky opponent(or if you don't want to be too squishy)and the rest is endless battle with crit items but if you want to go all crit, you can go for scarlet phantom along with berserker's fury and windtalker or wind of nature(optional). Either way, don't forget ENDLESS BATTLE because it's a must for clint.☺️
1 of the biggest lessons I learned a while ago, when playing mm, is to not get crazy attached to saving your turret. Sometimes losing your turret in the early game isn't even a bad thing, as it allows you to start pushing around the map a little more and allies are more likely to start helping when they see it go down. Glad you mentioned it in the video
For the map awareness part, one should do screen panning often since by that you can determine where the enemy is, even if you can't see them on the map but you can hear them... One should also use screen panning as a mm to read the enemy's jungler rotation in the early game to avoid getting ganked...
My favorite mm is actually Hanabi😄. I must admit though, she's extremely weak in the early game and it's difficult to farm especially when the enemies keep ganking Hanabi. I like her because of her ult and her long range. Although I do wish she would get a little adjustment because she moves very slowly and I think her damage on the early game is very weak compared to other marksmen.
But a fed, farmed hanabi is scarier than a godly fanny to me. That’s exactly why they make her early game a nightmare. So that if you do well in it you get the glory of carrying the game!
My main mm. I find her long range very useful and her unique bounce attacks. For early game I always play it very safe and don't stray too far from the turret. Although her damage is very weak early game her ultimate can be of a lot of use to help ur team ganking ur lane. I feel like her movement speed is just fine tho. I rather find Miya and Layla the slowest mm to move with.
Eyy same, I am a tank main, and Hanabi is my fave mm to use! And to be honest, at least for me, overcoming her weak early game is part of the reward of using her. It is with her that my map awareness and repositioning skills are really being honed HAHAHA, plus where I began to appreciate the value of small creeps (the crab, the lizard, and the small camp), rotating mid when not much action is in your lane, knowing when laning phase is done, giving a turret for survival, building a defense item (e.g. Brute Force, Twilight Armor) when enemy core keeps targeting you, and etc. Hanabi's mechanics actually helped me a lot to be a better player hehe
many people have been wanting Moonton to revamp Hanabi,and until now,I'm still waiting for it! Hanabi is a ninja,and she should atleast have a dash skill,or maybe turn her into a Marksman/Assassin

I'm a Lesley main and a lot of these things I already do. It's good to know I'm on the right track :) Major takeaways from this for new players: marksmen are squishy AF. Keep your distance especially in the early game. Primary objective is to not die.
My favorite marksman is Layla and yes she's very squishy in short-range but u can just stay away as far as possible. Layla is kinda weak at the earliest of the game but I can still manage to kill a lot of enemies. What I like about Layla is her very long-range and late game damage and its insanely op
My fav. marksman is also wanwan🥰 she has the mobility,speed,durable(kinda),she can stun and also has purify her ult can let you escape while also dealing damage

I'll straight up answer your question of who's my favorite mm : Lesley, her early game dmg is extremely good, as long as you play safe and not as aggressive as your enemy. Her dmg in late game is very scary especially with the right build, items and emblems, she's also really comfortable to play with (for me) and she's pretty flexible on early game Alternative answer : Wanwan, she has good mobility and flexibility, yes i know she has the worst early game dmg. But late game is where she truly shines
Beatrix her sniper is godly u can also use it in early game it has pretty good damage and it takes a little bit time to reload the bullets but her blink skills helps her reload it instantly any guns and I found out that after she reaches level 4 she can use 2 ults at once and her sniper is better than lesely she can one shot in late game
my favorite MM was Granger, but recently I started practicing playing as tank/fighter/mage so I pick MM less often and if I do, I pick Miya because she can be a bit aggressive in early game and I can push better using her.
My mindset when I play marksman is I am always alone. My favorite is Layla and she’s good to teach you about micromovements and paying attention so hard lol. I am the target for tanks and I try to harass my opponent safely (with 1st skill). I try to play like a sidelaner until the first turret is destroyed (around 4mins) then I farm like crazyyy and reks everyone later on lol.
At first, before clicking on this video, I thought it's gonna be bad. But it was really good and useful. As me being a Hanabi main, you know how difficult it is to escape from assassins and ganks. Although I know most of the points you mentioned, I learned a lot and it motivated me for playing mm.
My main marksmen/jungler is granger , since he has an important meaning to me because I use him ever since I started the game back in 2019 till now and he is still strong af, even in the early game.✌

I just came back here to say thank you because my gameplay improved so much now. Been getting gold medal as mm while I practice on classic. My fav mm is wanwan. Her ult is amazing for securing multiple kills and her second skill is highly useful (I don’t have to equip purify at all). I use inspire so I can secure a first kill in early game and usually maintain my distance from the enemy turret. I religiously watch kewl bads on a daily basis to see different tips , tricks, and builds I can use on wanwan. Sucks that she’s banned quite often but when she’s banned I just go with Miya/Lesley/support heroes
1:03 Wanwan, when you truly have mastered her you can just dominate every single match but it depends You get gapped, youre dead at late game You snowball, easy savage in team fights if the enemies’s line up is squishy
Natan is my favorite mm I feel in love of the thrill and adrenaline when you activate your ult or get full stacks of passive and how I can melt enemies in seconds and get away fine And also cuz of his theme

This is a really good tutorial for MM this all hits the important of being a MM good job on it. Also here's another tip for Epic and above pick battle spells depending on the lineup of the enemies this is really important for CC enemies or high damage enemies

My favorite MM is Natan and Beatrix. Natan is the master of comebacks, I only use him if the enemy has early game monsters because Natan can beat them up in the late game. I also like Beatrix because she is really strong in every part of the game, early game, mid game and late game.
This is really helpful for an MM user and Layla main, since I think Layla is the squishiest of all mm since she has no cc or even skills for dodging so I really rely alot on flicker for escaping and dodging (which sometimes I use for killing too), I have a lot of strategies against other heroes but sometimes they can still outsmart me and I always get specifically targeted by mages and junglers since Layla can deal a lot of damage in early and mid game if your team visits and help you alot but if not then you're on your own, you can even get blamed when you feeded the enemy despite them knowing they did nothing in helping you and cause your team sucks, but I don't worry much since she's a monster in late game and can turn mages and other mm papers. This really helps on how to not die much since everytime I use Layla my teammates always blames me if the enemy got feeded (of course there's some good teammates out there which I'm very thankful for) but they all shut up at late game when I have full item, though it's really hard to avoid death. So thank you a lot
As a marksman player, my favorite is always gonna be Lesley. I don't know why but when you build her fully, other marksman can't react fast enough with her burst crit damage. 👌👌
The only kit I loved about fighter role is having balanced damage dealt while surviving damage taken at the same, and the rest of other fighter kits is up to our playstyle. Tank and support role have ways to survive more damage taken but has less damage dealt, while these high damage roles (assassin, mage, and marksman) deals more damage but still squishy compare to fighter role. Teams without fighters have hard time to takedown most enemy team's heroes because of their balanced kits compare to them.
Wait can I just ask why heroes like wanwan or Layla don’t normally have the mana boots in their build? Like I understand it isn’t as good as the normal boots but it regents mana pretty well and if your not a fan of recalling all the time or holding back on using the skills then I think “It’s A Great addition to the build
wanwan normally doesn’t have boots in the first place layla or other mm, assuming they’re not magic based, won’t spend that much time really on using that mana and you could use those for something else like extra attack speed or defence
Best marksman for me would be Brody, why? Because even on early part of the game he can dominate enemies especially if you know how to use him. Deals insane amount of damage, has a lock chase attacking skill, and high mobility
My fav mm is natan because of his ult. When you use it you can dash to escape easy and do more damage. Just wait when you build speed and crit with inspire you will dominate the enemys
My fav mm is claude cz of his damage after DHS and his 2nd skill it's cool how he teleports while the monke gives damage but as all mm he's squishy so we have to wait until claude gets some core items if he gets DHS too early. Then enemy gonna hve hard time

Idk but claude is not good in early and late game. He is good after dhs but in late game where enemies have built defense items, his dmg lowers significantly. Note that dhs damage is physical dmg which means it can be countered by defense items. Also, in late game, teamfights are inevitable and claude ulti dmg lowers when there are more than 2 enemies getting attacked. So, Idk if claude is still good.
Hanabi is my favorite hero the same reason why I root for certain movie characters. She is usually viewed as “no damage” hero ( which I can somewhat agree, seeing the “epic” builds people use ) in the right position (+ timing) she is a monster at team fights. Up againts one shot gusion? ( who just got a triple kill or maniac) No worries just use flicker and ult him so he is trap inside The turrent. works like a Charm to annoy your enemiez ;) I especially love the story moontoon have for the characters. ( still hoping they changed her voice to the old one tho..)

Idk how i came from a mage user to an mm user😆 but wanwan is my favorite mm and also my main hero because of her ulti and her second skill it helps me get away from being stunned by an enemy ☺
My favourite MM has always been ones that can either burst out damage in a quick notice (Clint, Granger), or strong MM who don't need too much farm, like Beatrix. I've stopped playing Granger and started playing Beatrix a lot more, since she can surprisingly carry the entire game at times. Even if your teammates are dumb. Coming from an Epic player who has reached Legend before.
Your recommendation to watch my own replays is a huge dub to my gameplay progress tbh your info and tips and tricks are reliable and helpful to my favourite mm is beachix btw
Just an advice Stay in your lane even if you push the first tower, cuz if they see you or there were no one protecting the tower they’ll try to push it. So for me I will stay on that lane until they give up on go to the other lane so they wouldn’t think to push it. Turrets are more informant than kills
i was a Platinum 4 LoL player before covid hit and I basically have map awareness down to a tee, but I'm still not sure about lane matchups, and sometimes I get greedy and harass my counterpart everytime I get a chance (since I only use Clint or Lesley every match until I got Mythic 4). I never knew ML and League can have the same mechanics and I can apply my League knowledge here
my favorite Hero is Wanwan and i have been using her like ALWAYS 24/7 bcs i like how the passive of her's is jumping here and there, making the enemies hard to catch her ^^

Quick tip: Try to counter pick on your lane like for example(the enemie pick lesley then you counter pick brody)there are times you might contest on gold minions and take that as a advantage and another one if the enemy can't handle you try to delay their gold it's really good👌 PS: if you use this strat they might visit your lane so try to be careful and have map awareness
simple tip lol 1:40 As a sideliner, please ask your teammates respectfully and calmly, The game doesn't revolve around a single lane that's you can assume that the midlaner, roamer, and jungle are also busy especially when it's very early in the game. Don't lose your cool, don't be toxic.

I think I need this HAHAHA I've been playing mage/supports/tanks/midlane throughout my MOBA journey and I've been dependent on skills. Popol and Kupa worked for me but not for other mm heroes, so this video helped me.
I my favourite marksman is Granger because I love the way he moves casually while using his skills and can escape while hp is low using his second skill

As a Jungling marksman, Granger has an insane early game power, and he deals absurd amounts of damage already at mid game, problem is, my team totally neglects me, and playing safe as a jungler is quite difficult because it delays my farm inevitably, and my team has already fed like 4 deaths each and it's only 2 minutes into the game
fav marksman is basically lesley and wanwan, wanwan is actually op especially when it comes to here ultimate, also Lesley passive has kinda a big amount of damage? love em both ❤️
As a Tank and a roamer main.. I only dare to play marksman as Clint with support emblem (Avarice).. it work wonderful.. and you're right.. it requires patience.. and this emblem is good cuz i just need to poke from safe distance every 4 seconds.. and jungle in other time..
Just had one of the worst games last night. Allies Badang and Zilong kept on ganking and getting killed. Aamon feeding the enemies too much. Only me (Mino) and Miya were the ones actually in the right mind. All towers down. Just told the team one plan: Protect Miya at all cost. Late game starts, one sweet set from me led to Miya destroying everyone, concluding in a massive push and thus, an Epic Comeback.
I came not with the pure intention of becoming a better marksman (I like Clint and Roger BTW) but to simply here you talk. Again, amazing stuff here✨✨✨💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️

My favourite mm is Clint and I just noticed recently that I build blade of heptasis and berserker fury on him can deal a illegal damage on mid to late game properly one shot
I like rotating early game on occasions when the litho wanderer is on my lane, I'd clear my lane to help any possible clashes and get bonus gold and exp for clearing the mid minions
Here r some of my tips and experiences : A. As a person who’s first Maine was a mm (Miya) and ONLY push without caring about death… that’s the worst thing u can do. You need to have balance in every role, push, attack, farm. B. So I didn’t play much mm lately so I tried to get back to it (with 0 experience) ended up geting hurt and cyber bullied (nit real bullied but Amy like that) so my tip is if u r playing classic, always remember most ppl there r trying out and practicing so be the nicest version. Ranked… just don’t be rude C. If u r in late game and the enemy is going with their lord and all ur teammates r dead and u r quite close to their base, PUSH, END THE GAME. it’s risky but if u r in the right moment u will know, instead trying to defend with no help. If u have inspire use it. Best thing u can do. D. (Which is like a story-ish) When u’re jungler is so close to u and thinking of ganking, lead the enemy to the bush in front of the crab (where they r) noti them to attack in case (before and while u r leading them) and if u can stun them then do it, then let ur jungler handle the rest. I swear they go straight to the chat saying they could’ve killed and u were lucky bec the jungler was there or saying it was luck 😂 they will rage.😂😂 it’s soooo funny. 😂😂 But don’t bully them just a simple “lol” is enough. E. (Ik it’s a lot, I’ve even forgotten what I wanted to say most of the time😂) If ur teammates r hating on u just mute them (or ur enemies) just press on the thing where the time is and the score(etc) and there’s a chat button next to their pfp just press on it, boom muted in everything. Thx for ur time.

As a fighter tank main, i always frontline when i use marksman lol, i really like tanking damage and checking bushes for my team, im glad i stopped picking mm now, i did it like 5-10 times and it was so bad
I usually take mm to strol as tank until lvl 4 and then go ks mode (on epic or classic because i m epic slave)
Additional tip: If the enemy has a lot of stun or can burst you down instantly, build 1 or 2 defensive items. It'll slightly affect your damage, but it's better than not dealing damage just because you died at the start of the fight.

A tip for a side laner in general. Make sure that instead of hugging the wall at the corner of the map be at the entrance place of your lane (around the crab part) as you're doing your thing. This is because if an enemy is coming you'll notice them sooner and your tower is closer most of the time where as if you sit in the bush on the wall it'll be too late

I started as a support player and the most important thing I learned is to ALWAYS BE AWARE OF THE MAP. Now I play every role in the game and this help me a lot.

this is why when I play as Hanabi,the best I can is use my 1st skill and attack minions from afar with it so my enemies would be scared of getting damaged by me especially when I don't have a tank in my team
but as a tank...you can't expect to protect your MM when a stupid jungler can pass through you and get through your MM immediately...and besides,you're not even that tough to protect your teammates because stupid roaming items won't give you discounts on defense items
It's always stressful to play as a MM when your team aka your Midlaners never rotate or roam to help/gank your lane. It's always the enemy's team that knows how to focus on your lane instead. What pisses me off even more is they tend to blame you when you feed even though they never help you at your lane. Tanks also need to switch their priority protection from time to time, or at least at the Late-game where your MM is the pretty much the key to victory.
If your team's MM is at a disadvantage against their counterpart, please do them a favor and help them at least until they're fed enough to be independent.
I'm a midlaner but I usually go to bot/top since mm now is on jungle or midlane that makes it easier for enemies to envade us. Keep in mind that midlaner are more vulnerable than mm. I play as mm too but I always keep in mind that if I can't always relay on my team I have to be able to protect the turrets til I can fight aggressively.
@@Aclehm The Midlaners aren't vulnerable, not as vulnerable as your MM on the sidelane is. When you rotate, you usually go in a trio of Mage, Tank/Support and Jungler to gank their lane. Yes, you can't ALWAYS rely on your team but MM is the MOST vulnerable in the early game, no matter how strong they are in the early game, that just proves how squishy they are. MM are easily killable and if your enemy knew how to constantly prioritize your lane as a MM while your team doesn't help you, well goodluck catching up to the enemy's gold. By the time the you almost reached your 4th item, the enemies are already in full build. It's even worse once you started to fall behind, if your enemy knows how to freeze the lane, there's literally no other way to gain exp and gold aside from stealing your Midlaner's or switch lanes with your EXP laner. Like I said, playing MM is very dependable, at least in the early game. If anything, your team at least needs to rotate once or twice to your lane, moreover if the enemy's team are focusing on you. Of course, it's impossible to get an understanding and cooperative team in all games but communication can work if you try.
I can feel the pain. It's very hard to farm when three man keep ganking ur lane as mm and ur team only chooses to help the fighter sidelane for ganks. It is really frustrating. So when I play mage as midlane or tank I try my best to help the mm if they r in trouble because I know how it feels.
@@Aclehm it's good to be able to hold ur own as mm and not always rely on team but sometimes u don't have a choice when the enemy team knows who to prioritize. Mostly mages r played as midlane and they r definitely stronger than mm in early game and sometimes with a little help from them u can get a bit of control back in ur lane.
The most stressful relationship in-game:
When the tank is in the brink of death but the mm is good so it's either you retreat as a mm, die with the tank or wipe the enemy.
This situation is the fun part of tanking for solo queue. When you win you're happy, when you die but not your mm then try again later (hopefully), or when you boh died then f***.

My favorite mm is surprisingly Miya. It’s bc in the late game (especially after u get has claws and u have inspire and the immunity thing for mm) then you can basically one shot the enemies before they have a time to react.
Now that I am playing Miya more often, try your best to farm as much as possible in the early game and try to pay extra attention to the map at all times. Check where their core is and if u can’t hear anything then don’t get out of ur turrets range until u see where they are or u can get bursted. Also, try to play very safely in the early to mid-ish game until u think that u have the core items u need to play more aggressively before that then just hug the turret and try not to die 👁👄👁. But in the late game she’s a complete new beast and most of my Miya games were comebacks bc she’s best in late game like I said so there’s a very high chance u can win just try not to feed and don’t ever give up with any hero ur playing!

bruh I did that when I uses Miya, after a couple of dying in early game especially when there's gus, fanny, ling and aldous on my enemy side, I learn to be sneaky with her and got MVP!

I'm a Clint main since season 10, and even though when he's not revamped, he's still strong and defensive. But the revamp makes it better, because he can also farm crabs and waves more quickly. Clint can also evade enemies pretty efficiently and a perfect match with flicker/aegis. He really is the mm king before and still standing until now👑
I can't disagree on this one, I get calm pills whenever I face one. 🧢 But he's indeed hard to play against, as Karrie I have to avoid his blindness and passive which are really difficult to be avoided in high elo.

@@mashedpatatas5857 I suggest thunder belt with haa's claws combined with rose gold meteor if you're facing a dps or tanky opponent(or if you don't want to be too squishy)and the rest is endless battle with crit items but if you want to go all crit, you can go for scarlet phantom along with berserker's fury and windtalker or wind of nature(optional). Either way, don't forget ENDLESS BATTLE because it's a must for clint.☺️

1 of the biggest lessons I learned a while ago, when playing mm, is to not get crazy attached to saving your turret. Sometimes losing your turret in the early game isn't even a bad thing, as it allows you to start pushing around the map a little more and allies are more likely to start helping when they see it go down. Glad you mentioned it in the video

For the map awareness part, one should do screen panning often since by that you can determine where the enemy is, even if you can't see them on the map but you can hear them... One should also use screen panning as a mm to read the enemy's jungler rotation in the early game to avoid getting ganked...

My favorite mm is actually Hanabi😄. I must admit though, she's extremely weak in the early game and it's difficult to farm especially when the enemies keep ganking Hanabi. I like her because of her ult and her long range. Although I do wish she would get a little adjustment because she moves very slowly and I think her damage on the early game is very weak compared to other marksmen.
But a fed, farmed hanabi is scarier than a godly fanny to me. That’s exactly why they make her early game a nightmare. So that if you do well in it you get the glory of carrying the game!
My main mm. I find her long range very useful and her unique bounce attacks. For early game I always play it very safe and don't stray too far from the turret. Although her damage is very weak early game her ultimate can be of a lot of use to help ur team ganking ur lane. I feel like her movement speed is just fine tho. I rather find Miya and Layla the slowest mm to move with.
Eyy same, I am a tank main, and Hanabi is my fave mm to use! And to be honest, at least for me, overcoming her weak early game is part of the reward of using her. It is with her that my map awareness and repositioning skills are really being honed HAHAHA, plus where I began to appreciate the value of small creeps (the crab, the lizard, and the small camp), rotating mid when not much action is in your lane, knowing when laning phase is done, giving a turret for survival, building a defense item (e.g. Brute Force, Twilight Armor) when enemy core keeps targeting you, and etc.
Hanabi's mechanics actually helped me a lot to be a better player hehe

My favorite marksman is Layla and yes she's very squishy in short-range but u can just stay away as far as possible. Layla is kinda weak at the earliest of the game but I can still manage to kill a lot of enemies. What I like about Layla is her very long-range and late game damage and its insanely op

My fav. marksman is also wanwan🥰 she has the mobility,speed,durable(kinda),she can stun and also has purify her ult can let you escape while also dealing damage
Layla is pretty good both early and late game, but you really need to depend on your roamer to tank damage

Lesley, her early game dmg is extremely good, as long as you play safe and not as aggressive as your enemy. Her dmg in late game is very scary especially with the right build, items and emblems, she's also really comfortable to play with (for me) and she's pretty flexible on early game

Wanwan, she has good mobility and flexibility, yes i know she has the worst early game dmg. But late game is where she truly shines

Beatrix her sniper is godly u can also use it in early game it has pretty good damage and it takes a little bit time to reload the bullets but her blink skills helps her reload it instantly any guns and I found out that after she reaches level 4 she can use 2 ults at once and her sniper is better than lesely she can one shot in late game
Lesly have 4 deadly Shot while beatrix have 1 shot ,lesly sniper have much more damage than beatrix
my favorite MM was Granger, but recently I started practicing playing as tank/fighter/mage so I pick MM less often and if I do, I pick Miya because she can be a bit aggressive in early game and I can push better using her.

My mindset when I play marksman is I am always alone. My favorite is Layla and she’s good to teach you about micromovements and paying attention so hard lol. I am the target for tanks and I try to harass my opponent safely (with 1st skill). I try to play like a sidelaner until the first turret is destroyed (around 4mins) then I farm like crazyyy and reks everyone later on lol.
At first, before clicking on this video, I thought it's gonna be bad. But it was really good and useful. As me being a Hanabi main, you know how difficult it is to escape from assassins and ganks. Although I know most of the points you mentioned, I learned a lot and it motivated me for playing mm.

The first thing you said in this video really hit me. No wonder I played so badly as marksman 🤣 But I'm trying to get over it and this tutorial helped so much. I just came back here to say thank you because my gameplay improved so much now. Been getting gold medal as mm while I practice on classic. I realized how important it is to watch the map and look for the enemies before making my next move.
My fav mm is wanwan. Her ult is amazing for securing multiple kills and her second skill is highly useful (I don’t have to equip purify at all). I use inspire so I can secure a first kill in early game and usually maintain my distance from the enemy turret. I religiously watch kewl bads on a daily basis to see different tips , tricks, and builds I can use on wanwan. Sucks that she’s banned quite often but when she’s banned I just go with Miya/Lesley/support heroes

My favorite MM is Natan and Beatrix. Natan is the master of comebacks, I only use him if the enemy has early game monsters because Natan can beat them up in the late game. I also like Beatrix because she is really strong in every part of the game, early game, mid game and late game.
This is really helpful for an MM user and Layla main, since I think Layla is the squishiest of all mm since she has no cc or even skills for dodging so I really rely alot on flicker for escaping and dodging (which sometimes I use for killing too), I have a lot of strategies against other heroes but sometimes they can still outsmart me and I always get specifically targeted by mages and junglers since Layla can deal a lot of damage in early and mid game if your team visits and help you alot but if not then you're on your own, you can even get blamed when you feeded the enemy despite them knowing they did nothing in helping you and cause your team sucks, but I don't worry much since she's a monster in late game and can turn mages and other mm papers. This really helps on how to not die much since everytime I use Layla my teammates always blames me if the enemy got feeded (of course there's some good teammates out there which I'm very thankful for) but they all shut up at late game when I have full item, though it's really hard to avoid death. So thank you a lot

As a marksman player, my favorite is always gonna be Lesley. I don't know why but when you build her fully, other marksman can't react fast enough with her burst crit damage. 👌👌
The only kit I loved about fighter role is having balanced damage dealt while surviving damage taken at the same, and the rest of other fighter kits is up to our playstyle. Tank and support role have ways to survive more damage taken but has less damage dealt, while these high damage roles (assassin, mage, and marksman) deals more damage but still squishy compare to fighter role. Teams without fighters have hard time to takedown most enemy team's heroes because of their balanced kits compare to them.
Wait can I just ask why heroes like wanwan or Layla don’t normally have the mana boots in their build? Like I understand it isn’t as good as the normal boots but it regents mana pretty well and if your not a fan of recalling all the time or holding back on using the skills then I think “It’s A Great addition to the build

layla or other mm, assuming they’re not magic based, won’t spend that much time really on using that mana and you could use those for something else like extra attack speed or defence

Best marksman for me would be Brody, why? Because even on early part of the game he can dominate enemies especially if you know how to use him. Deals insane amount of damage, has a lock chase attacking skill, and high mobility

My fav mm is natan because of his ult. When you use it you can dash to escape easy and do more damage. Just wait when you build speed and crit with inspire you will dominate the enemys
My fav mm is claude cz of his damage after DHS and his 2nd skill it's cool how he teleports while the monke gives damage but as all mm he's squishy so we have to wait until claude gets some core items if he gets DHS too early. Then enemy gonna hve hard time

Idk but claude is not good in early and late game. He is good after dhs but in late game where enemies have built defense items, his dmg lowers significantly. Note that dhs damage is physical dmg which means it can be countered by defense items. Also, in late game, teamfights are inevitable and claude ulti dmg lowers when there are more than 2 enemies getting attacked. So, Idk if claude is still good.

Hanabi is my favorite hero the same reason why I root for certain movie characters. She is usually viewed as “no damage” hero ( which I can somewhat agree, seeing the “epic” builds people use ) in the right position (+ timing) she is a monster at team fights. Up againts one shot gusion? ( who just got a triple kill or maniac) No worries just use flicker and ult him so he is trap inside The turrent. works like a Charm to annoy your enemiez ;) I especially love the story moontoon have for the characters. ( still hoping they changed her voice to the old one tho..)

My favourite MM has always been ones that can either burst out damage in a quick notice (Clint, Granger), or strong MM who don't need too much farm, like Beatrix. I've stopped playing Granger and started playing Beatrix a lot more, since she can surprisingly carry the entire game at times. Even if your teammates are dumb.

Just an advice Stay in your lane even if you push the first tower, cuz if they see you or there were no one protecting the tower they’ll try to push it. So for me I will stay on that lane until they give up on go to the other lane so they wouldn’t think to push it. Turrets are more informant than kills

i was a Platinum 4 LoL player before covid hit and I basically have map awareness down to a tee, but I'm still not sure about lane matchups, and sometimes I get greedy and harass my counterpart everytime I get a chance (since I only use Clint or Lesley every match until I got Mythic 4). I never knew ML and League can have the same mechanics and I can apply my League knowledge here

Quick tip: Try to counter pick on your lane like for example(the enemie pick lesley then you counter pick brody)there are times you might contest on gold minions and take that as a advantage and another one if the enemy can't handle you try to delay their gold it's really good👌

My favourite maskman is Irrithel. Her late game dmg is op and with crit build she can melt even the most durable tanks.
Can u make a video regarding what a marksman can do whn there is no team support can't get minions wave(teammates invade and take it) small buffs cause u either can't get out of turret or ur jungler is just stealing it
And also how to play when enemy is killing and ganking you even inside the turrets.....
And also for all role heroes how to play when teammates are just feeding around and enemy is mostly doing 1 shot to you even if u play safe...
I'm stuck in this epical glory where my teammates are just chicken heads feeding and enemy are ganking from early game
I keep coming back to these videos again and again to remind myself about all these important principles. Also to get inspired by your Wanwan playing hahah

Thank you for this! Since even if my positioning and timing is already good i always suck at the early game since i'm too aggressive and overconfident and not playing safe enough.
I think I need this HAHAHA I've been playing mage/supports/tanks/midlane throughout my MOBA journey and I've been dependent on skills. Popol and Kupa worked for me but not for other mm heroes, so this video helped me.

I my favourite marksman is Granger because I love the way he moves casually while using his skills and can escape while hp is low using his second skill
I play granger as my marksman so you can imagine that my playstyle leans more into the assassin role.
My favorite MM is Beatrix. Because I like her weapons and how they can be useful in different situations

mann this really helped me and now im not a wanwan that always get ganked, 8 deaths in midgame, tanks dont care abt me, always get by a f king natalia, and playing real aggressive with inspire in super early game
As a Jungling marksman, Granger has an insane early game power, and he deals absurd amounts of damage already at mid game, problem is, my team totally neglects me, and playing safe as a jungler is quite difficult because it delays my farm inevitably, and my team has already fed like 4 deaths each and it's only 2 minutes into the game
fav marksman is basically lesley and wanwan, wanwan is actually op especially when it comes to here ultimate, also Lesley passive has kinda a big amount of damage? love em both ❤️
As a Tank and a roamer main.. I only dare to play marksman as Clint with support emblem (Avarice).. it work wonderful.. and you're right.. it requires patience.. and this emblem is good cuz i just need to poke from safe distance every 4 seconds.. and jungle in other time..
Just had one of the worst games last night. Allies Badang and Zilong kept on ganking and getting killed. Aamon feeding the enemies too much. Only me (Mino) and Miya were the ones actually in the right mind. All towers down. Just told the team one plan: Protect Miya at all cost.
Late game starts, one sweet set from me led to Miya destroying everyone, concluding in a massive push and thus, an Epic Comeback.
I came not with the pure intention of becoming a better marksman (I like Clint and Roger BTW) but to simply here you talk. Again, amazing stuff here✨✨✨💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️
I'm tired of those marksmen who become crybabies as soon as I leave their lane as the tank. They just can't stay under their towers and blame me for constantly dying.

My favourite mm is Clint and I just noticed recently that I build blade of heptasis and berserker fury on him can deal a illegal damage on mid to late game properly one shot
I like rotating early game on occasions when the litho wanderer is on my lane, I'd clear my lane to help any possible clashes and get bonus gold and exp for clearing the mid minions
Here r some of my tips and experiences :
A. As a person who’s first Maine was a mm (Miya) and ONLY push without caring about death… that’s the worst thing u can do. You need to have balance in every role, push, attack, farm.
B. So I didn’t play much mm lately so I tried to get back to it (with 0 experience) ended up geting hurt and cyber bullied (nit real bullied but Amy like that) so my tip is if u r playing classic, always remember most ppl there r trying out and practicing so be the nicest version. Ranked… just don’t be rude
C. If u r in late game and the enemy is going with their lord and all ur teammates r dead and u r quite close to their base, PUSH, END THE GAME. it’s risky but if u r in the right moment u will know, instead trying to defend with no help. If u have inspire use it. Best thing u can do.
D. (Which is like a story-ish) When u’re jungler is so close to u and thinking of ganking, lead the enemy to the bush in front of the crab (where they r) noti them to attack in case (before and while u r leading them) and if u can stun them then do it, then let ur jungler handle the rest. I swear they go straight to the chat saying they could’ve killed and u were lucky bec the jungler was there or saying it was luck 😂 they will rage.😂😂 it’s soooo funny. 😂😂 But don’t bully them just a simple “lol” is enough.
E. (Ik it’s a lot, I’ve even forgotten what I wanted to say most of the time😂) If ur teammates r hating on u just mute them (or ur enemies) just press on the thing where the time is and the score(etc) and there’s a chat button next to their pfp just press on it, boom muted in everything.

I use beatrix and favorite weapon is Bennett at the start and the Uzi after about 3 waves of minions. Thank you for the tips very useful!
