Been using these small items for a long time. And yes, it definitely helps in the early to mid game. I don't buy boots anymore in the early game if needed as well. My all time Waifu is Odette and Esmeralda. Odette may be not that strong and not even in the Meta List but I almost have all her skins (except Mermaid Princess) and I have a local badge for her. I also have a different gameplay and item build for her. And no Johnson needed whenever I use her too! Esmeralda is somehow given and a lot of pro players use her too!

Mathilda! I just love her. When she was released I didn't wanted to play her, but when I tried her I fell in love. She is so fun to play, and is a great roamer, she has great mobility, durability, and I have saved hundreds of teammates thanks to her second skill. Not only that, but she does a considerable amount of damage too if you know how to make the combos. I have all her skins so far, and she is so pretty! Her skill effects are beautiful! It's sad that I don't see that many players using her, but she is still my top waifu ♡
I am a main support player. Bad at playing assassin but when I use Mathilda I can get more kills while giving teammates shield and free flicker. My emblem is mostly support emblem on her. 9 kills with more than 11 assist with her as support.
I always use these small items. Especially the Fury Hammer item is usually my first thing to buy after the regular boots for physical assassins. I see a lot of Lancelot and Hayabusa players rushing to War Axe as the first core item but to be honest, building Hunter Strike first is far more helpful. Also, when I need HEAVY physical as well as magic burst resistance, I buy the small item from Antique Cuirass (which has the same passive as the main item) and then proceed to buy Athena's Shield. Moreover, while buying Dominance Ice, I prefer to buy that purple shield thingy (i forgot the name) as it gives some mana and 10% CDR too.
I agree with fury hammer and waraxe as not the first item, but i think heaptaseas is better than hunter in early cuz of its bonus dmg and 40% slow. And in late game u can sell it to buy malefic or bod as it is harder to use heaptaseas passive like in early game.

about fury hammer, if you combine it with hunter strike and heptaseas in the same build on a hero like Dyrroth(best candidate to do this), Saber or Zilong, you can reach an absurd amount of physical penetration and kill even tankiest of tanks(with a few exceptions) easily
if you also use assassin emblem with pen you can get up to 62 penetration, and if you also use war axe at max stacks you will have 78 phys penetration. If you combine that with dyrroths enhanced second skill, you can melt down anyone with less than 332 physical defense, which is honestly just absurd. Not taking into account malefic roar too

FINALLY! Someone other than ShimenTakezo and Strongwill recognized the value of Elegant Gem. Some other things I had to point out: 1. After building Fury Hammer, you have to build Malefic Roar right after to protect the flat pen value from Warrior Boots or Steel Leggings unless you're Saber or Dyrroth. Yes, it works in early. 2. Ling can abuse 4 Javelins (64% crit chance for a cheap price). 3. Elegant Gem isn't only for mages who are planning to buy CoD. If you're a jungler who's forced to go sidelane, some roamer without Support Emblem, Natan, P&K, Phoveus, Terizla, or Silvanna, you can get Elegant Gem to duke your laning game like a boss until Level 15 or you sell it. 4. Two magic resist cloaks completely negates Genius Wand as Steel Leggings does to Fury Hammer. 5. Warrior Boots has the same purpose as Steel Leggings but it also has movement. You know what? Build them both if you wanna give your opposing gold laner a bad day.

Don’t get me wrong all your other videos are very good and super informative but this one in particular helped me to stop struggling so much My matches since I started playing mobile legends have been very hit or miss I either do really good or struggle a lot, and let’s be honest, it’s more often that I struggle. As a Natalia main, I know what to build in the early game thanks to you. I would build normal boots, then I'll buy BOH, then after buying BOH, I'll buy fury hammer for 47 physical pen. After that, I will buy Rapid boots. I'll sell the fury hammer in the late game since I don't use hunter strike with nata. Edit: Where did the 47 phys pen come from? But after watching this, I agree that Elegant Gem should be top priority (except for Cecillion and Cyclops). Then I use Impure Rage as emblem. With this, my mana is sustained pretty well esp from mid to late game even without the purple buff.

As jungler, i buy jungling boot first for the true dmg passive, and for mm, i buy boot after completing my first core dmg item. I buy basic boot 2nd bcos other roles need to rotate. I think the only shoes that would be worth compeling first would be items like the tough boots or demon shoes, and then the next up would be the anti heal items for heavy healing the enemy would have. Or any other item that gives the hero a one item power spike like the genius wand for Harley
elegant gem can be brought by anyone specially if they used mana for skills. hence, it is also good to sustain your lane and surviving potential ganks. can also be substitute to mana regen items to give way on building damage items. it is also helpful on roaming heroes with mana.
the only tier 2 items i use are the molten essence, azure blade, and the elegant gem. but after this video, i realized the other tier 2 items are useful depending on the match. thanks nico!

in most cases Yes, Javelin is not that useful to prioritize it. But when u play by ling, i will recommend to prioritize 3 javelins. It will give u almost permacrit in cheap price. Also mystic container is useful low tier item imo. Its cheap and gives good sustain to magic heroes

I am always confused with the antique cuirass passive and to what heroes it applies. So for example, does the 1st skill of Lesley (boosting her basic attack) activate the passive? Does the doll of Melissa activate it? etc... Have you done such a video? Eg. I am sure it doesn't apply for Haya or Claude's ultimate.

Rafaela and Lolita. Rafaela was my first main with 200 matches and 60% win rate, her backstory with Argus and she's gorgeous af 😍. Lolita is my main for now with 120 matches and 65% win rate. She's cute and tough at the same time. She's underaged like me (16) so it's cool. Ps : Dreadnaught armor also helps you a little bit to survive a full Saber combo. Molten essence is like a cheap knock off of Cursed Helmet so you can complete the full build later after you get you get your 2nd and 3rd core item. Also if you wanna survive a Harley early game as a tank, buy Radiant Armor first. It's the most cheapest item too. Steel legplates are really useful like many mlbb yt said.
Even though I’m not the best Clint player, I still always buy azure blade as my first item due to its mana Regen, and true damage. Then I’ll buy boots and then finish my endless battle. The mana Regen really help put a ton in the early game and even late game

Elegant gem is amazing on Hylos, even if you dont plan to build clock of destiny. I build it after getting the roam boots and that 20% heal gave me enough sustain in mid game and lots of clutch moments.

I don't have one waifu since I can't pick one that's the best over every other hero that I main. It all depends on the teammate-opponent lineup for picking which hero is the best for the situation, along with the player's personal playstyle Heroes that take the cake for me are Lesley, Odette, Floryn, Rafaela and Diggie. I like keeping my distance in fights while dealing a lot of damage; hence Lesley and Odette. As for supporting the team I just like to be annoying for the enemies while helping them sustain taking damage; hence the lovely healer Floryn, slowing tanky Rafaela, and shield-giving Diggie with his CC
As someone who came from Dota it is a no brainer to buy those. Its called Item progression. You dont just straight up invest all your golds on just 1 expensive item that takes time to build.
Problem with low tier ranks is that carry players doesn’t give a fuck with defense items because their mindset is the more damage, the more savages and maniacs.
Old player before the now system will always buy small item and buy other big item before completing the small item to counter hero. In Brawl some small item really need.
Choosing the best waifu is very hard. Because we have many of them. Like: Fredrinn, Balmond, Thamuz, Martis, Leomord. Also choosing husbandio is hard. Because of: Lancelot the penetrator, Almighty Gusion and Deadly sword Ling.

Hey oddete can be pretty damn Strong even in early game if you utilize her passive she can deal upto 4000 dmg early game with ult in a one v one fight

Thanks for this MLG! As a Mage main, i almost always buy first 2 Magic Necklace before the Elegant Gem. But after watching this, I agree that Elegant Gem should be top priority (except for Cecillion and Cyclops).
I also play other roles when the need arises (tho I'm not always good at other roles esp Jungler). These tips would definitely help me improve and play better. Thanks a lot! ✊🤙

@@acousticmeatus8141 not a pro player but here's what I do: 2 Magic necklace-Magic Shoes-Talisman-Mystic container-Magic wand-Conc. Energy. Other items are situational. Then I use Impure Rage as emblem. With this, my mana is sustained pretty well esp from mid to late game even without the purple buff.
I was always puzzled as to why at least 8 (but 9 most of the time) buy shoes as a first item. It never made sense to me, but now I know that my syspicion was true - they are just headless chickens lol
I usually buy basic boot as second item for all role except mm and jungler. As jungler, i buy jungling boot first for the true dmg passive, and for mm, i buy boot after completing my first core dmg item. I buy basic boot 2nd bcos other roles need to rotate. Roamer to roam around map, mage to rotate to help mm or exp(if needed) and explaner to help mid or even opposite turtle after clearing lane. I buy full boot as 3rd item only with mobile exp laner such as benedetta, esme paquito or thamuz etc. Before that only basic boot

Ruby, she was the first character I got from the lucky draw and ive been using her ever since if the team ever needed more CC a tank or an EXP laner which is 99% of the time and I have a knack for waifus with Scythes and the fact shes probably the hero im best with even though I mainly a mage player and even I dont mind if my waifus has a few screws loose

I think the only shoes that would be worth compeling first would be items like the tough boots or demon shoes, and then the next up would be the anti heal items for heavy healing the enemy would have. Or any other item that gives the hero a one item power spike like the genius wand for Harley
elegant gem can be brought by anyone specially if they used mana for skills. hence, it is also good to sustain your lane and surviving potential ganks. can also be substitute to mana regen items to give way on building damage items. it is also helpful on roaming heroes with mana.
And an SSS tier item for mage in brawl
the only tier 2 items i use are the molten essence, azure blade, and the elegant gem. but after this video, i realized the other tier 2 items are useful depending on the match. thanks nico!

If you play fanny, you should always buy a knife ( get boots first ofc) to speed up jungling because early game you would basically just be using your basic attack
would argue hero's ring is kinda useful to prioritize for Harith only. since if you buy hero's ring, azure blade, and magic shoes, you can already spam your s2 while inside your ult early game.
in most cases Yes, Javelin is not that useful to prioritize it. But when u play by ling, i will recommend to prioritize 3 javelins. It will give u almost permacrit in cheap price. Also mystic container is useful low tier item imo. Its cheap and gives good sustain to magic heroes
I love that item that prevents Jawhead from throwing you. Everytime I get a Jawhead ally, they just troll, don't let me farm, steal kills and throw me to the tower and enemies. Its a must buy against those stupid trolla

I am always confused with the antique cuirass passive and to what heroes it applies. So for example, does the 1st skill of Lesley (boosting her basic attack) activate the passive? Does the doll of Melissa activate it? etc... Have you done such a video? Eg. I am sure it doesn't apply for Haya or Claude's ultimate.

yes and i always use that mini leggings when i pick marksman it helped me a lot it give you free physical defense

These items I will be honest can be a game changer it happens a lot
Rafaela and Lolita. Rafaela was my first main with 200 matches and 60% win rate, her backstory with Argus and she's gorgeous af 😍. Lolita is my main for now with 120 matches and 65% win rate. She's cute and tough at the same time. She's underaged like me (16) so it's cool.
Ps : Dreadnaught armor also helps you a little bit to survive a full Saber combo. Molten essence is like a cheap knock off of Cursed Helmet so you can complete the full build later after you get you get your 2nd and 3rd core item. Also if you wanna survive a Harley early game as a tank, buy Radiant Armor first. It's the most cheapest item too. Steel legplates are really useful like many mlbb yt said.

Even though I’m not the best Clint player, I still always buy azure blade as my first item due to its mana Regen, and true damage.
Then I’ll buy boots and then finish my endless battle.
The mana Regen really help put a ton in the early game and even late game

I tend to do component building early game like when I was still playing DotA, like 2-3 Javelins for Freya(and previously Argus) after building boots for faster early game push, then 2 Rogue Meteors for Argus
Elegant gem is amazing on Hylos, even if you dont plan to build clock of destiny. I build it after getting the roam boots and that 20% heal gave me enough sustain in mid game and lots of clutch moments.

Huge phys dmg reduction, super good for surviving ganks.

I don't have one waifu since I can't pick one that's the best over every other hero that I main. It all depends on the teammate-opponent lineup for picking which hero is the best for the situation, along with the player's personal playstyle
Heroes that take the cake for me are Lesley, Odette, Floryn, Rafaela and Diggie.
I like keeping my distance in fights while dealing a lot of damage; hence Lesley and Odette. As for supporting the team I just like to be annoying for the enemies while helping them sustain taking damage; hence the lovely healer Floryn, slowing tanky Rafaela, and shield-giving Diggie with his CC
As someone who came from Dota it is a no brainer to buy those. Its called Item progression. You dont just straight up invest all your golds on just 1 expensive item that takes time to build.
In brawl i do 6 mana regen necklaces on mana users. All roles.
Try it. Makes layla op since her regen means she can snipe all day
