I'm 4 days in and it works but with it being so new... I'm scared because alcohol was my crutch. I didn't want to take it today because I wanted to drink and give into my addiction but I took the medication and I will tomorrow and the next day too. This fear will fade as I learn health ways to deal with life
Alcohol can ruin your life. A neuroscientist once described addiction as ........ "the progressive narrowing of the things that give us pleasure. By persistently abusing a single pleasure source we enter a state of dopamine deficiency where nothing gives pleasure but the addiction, and even that stops working".
It was approved by fda for aud in 1994. I am starting this weekend. I hope you are doing well.
@@Michael-tr7uq this explanation reminds me of the golden nugget video, where the bird is walking along and picks up the nugget, tries it, it brings pleasure, and he keeps picking them up. Eventually the nuggets give the bird less and less pleasure and he becomes completely defeated and dark.

This stuff really works. I couldn't get my prescription filled because the walk-in clinics near me don't allow walk-ins anymore, but finally they are going to fulfill it over the phone. It lead to a costly relapse where I drank 60 some odd beers and a large bottle of wine over the weekend. One drink, when I was out, turned into all the drinks for me. But when I take naltrexone I don't get cravings for alcohol and alcohol loses all of its endorphin charms. I would highly recommend it if you have a drinking problem.

Alcohol. I did have a couple binges, but definitely way better than drinking daily!
Does it work!? I mowed today and felt i deserved a reward. I picked up my cold one and its still full...i just carry it around. Thinking this must be my 3rd...no...its bedtime im done. Am i happy? No, but im not happy waking up with regret and a hangover either.

My second day taking it and decided to get some vodka on my second day to test it out and I'm shocked. I feel like I'm drinking nasty juice. Not getting that buzz um use to getting so I guess I won't be drinking tomorrow since it will be a waste of money.

Hi, are you taking it correctly following a Sinclair Method? Are you 100% compliant? Are you giving it time to work?
I think that they forget to tell you that it doesn’t work for everyone , AA or other programs have way better results
@@cameronmaclean2452 Hi there! Thanks for your comment. If you look at the data that discusses the success rates of AA and TSM, TSM actually has far better clinical results. No it won’t work for everyone, but it works for many especially if they give it enough time and follow it correctly. My belief is that the more options we can offer people the better. There is not one way that will work for 100% of the people.
@@cameronmaclean2452 I’m actually doing a lot better. I really don’t like aa I’m tired of going to the meetings I’m tired of hearing from the people there because I’m a christian and don’t really vibe with the new ageyness of aa. I don’t feel like drinking because I occupy myself with my interests. I go to church there I have my sense of community and accountability. I’m still getting the injections in my butt once a month.

Naltrexone is officially unavailable. Amazon Pharmacy doesn't have any, and neither does Publix pharmacys in the SE USA.
