*Pro Tip for everyone* I listen to this every morning before I have to take an important exam. Also whenever I need to talk to someone, who will criticise me. This song gives you a really heavy confident boost. And especially with Rachel’s Performance I feel super confident.
INCREDIBLE!! what I don't understand is why AMAZING videos like these get like 1,000 views and videos of Justin Bieber and Rihanna get about 10,000,000 views! Rachel Tucker has a million times more talent than both of them put together! thanks for uploading TEAM TUCKER
I love that she often says "let me hear ya!" at the end of this song when she performs it live - there's not many people who can reach that note, Rach..! ;) Perfect performance and the best Elphie there is or was. Gutted she's leaving in October!!
I love how when she gets to ‘so if you care to find me look to the western sky’ the crowd is just like *shocked faces* and then *extremely loud cheering* BEST ELPHIE!
Her and Samantha Barks were the best singers to come out of ALW's shows. Remember Sam singing Defying Gravity and being amazed at her talent. Both have gone onto fantastic careers.
I would've chosen Rachel for Nancy! Not sure Jodie or Jessie have been in much... Rachel and Sam were the best IMO, but that whole show was just fuckin awesome and they should do a new one with another classic show...
Wow! Never heard this chick before (I'm more familiar with the NYC Elphabas), but damn is she good. I have a list of my favorite Elphabas -- including Stephanie J Block, Julia Murney, Shoshana Bean and Eden Espinosa... and I'm pretty sure I just added Rachel to the list. :)
Those singers you have mentioned sing the Elphaba role brilliantly. The difference is that Rachel IS Elphaba. The others need help getting that broom off the ground. Rachel just SOARS....
she was my first elphaba and i watched wicked a couple more times over the years, but i was always like why are they not as good? maybe i remembered wrong? and then i looked up videos of rachel and i was like nope, she really is that good, and i didn’t realize how lucky i was to see her live!
There's no question she's gorgeous. We saw her July 2016 NYC (with the amazing Carrie St. Louis); her I'm Not That Girl gave me goosebumps, but this is not my favorite vocal. Look up her performance Defying Gravity with Aaron Tveit, now that's amazing.
Don't hate me, but for me she is everything that Kerry Ellis was and more. To me, she has Kerry's incredible voice and power, but mixed with Idina and Alexia's terrific passion. She is a perfect Elphaba IMO
@chocolatexpqx her real talent is that she can sing incredible well live, on stage. very few singers in the world can be better from rachel tucker and other musical singers when it comes to live performances.
I agree. I think it's a real shame Kerry Ellis got about ten times more cheering and applause on her last show than Rachel - clearly not a show too heavy on the hardcore fans!
I love her accent on this song, but I really think you cant compare this to like let us say Idina. They both have their own version, and they are both completely ozsome!
I think this woman does quite a good job. It's a little to sweet for me being Elphaba. I thought towards there were some areas i think weren't as strong as the rest. Overall quite an amazing performance. My favorite is still willemijn verkaik
i think kerry's better :) she has the AMAZING voice and her acting or ''passion'' isnt bad its just more suttle than scrunching your face up on the high notes, kerry's acting is more realistic !
Hello thank you for all those comments on that video. They're all very kind. I know this is not my video but thank you so much.😊
i saw her live and omg i had tears (i was slightly intoxicated) but seriously one of the best singers i have heard live
Her vibrato is crazy😍
*Pro Tip for everyone* I listen to this every morning before I have to take an important exam. Also whenever I need to talk to someone, who will criticise me. This song gives you a really heavy confident boost. And especially with Rachel’s Performance I feel super confident.
the look to the western sky gave me chills
not only does she look gorgeous, she SOUNDS AMAZING.
I can't stop listening to her version omg I want to go back to the night I saw her
INCREDIBLE!!

YAS OMG AND SO IT'S WITH VIDEOS WITH WILLEMIJN VERKAIK, THEY'RE THE REAL STARS
I love that she often says "let me hear ya!" at the end of this song when she performs it live - there's not many people who can reach that note, Rach..! ;) Perfect performance and the best Elphie there is or was. Gutted she's leaving in October!!
I love how when she gets to ‘so if you care to find me look to the western sky’ the crowd is just like *shocked faces* and then *extremely loud cheering* BEST ELPHIE!
Honestly Rachel is the best Elphaba of all time
Amber Tait so trueeee she was my fist elphiba that I watched I love her sooo much
Amber Tait she is!
My first was Jessica Vosk. So of course.....she's the best! Lol.
Think I’d go Emma Hatton as the best.
Matthew Tooley Nikki bentley
Wish she had kept that "to fly" vibrato in her performances
That is how this song is meant to be sung. Raw attitude. Stunning.
Rachel and Kerry are my favorite British Elphies by far!!
Rachel Tucker is a vocal beast. So amazing. Her "to fly" was my favorite.
*sHE BETTER GET THE PART IN THE MOVIE*
@Dom Hargreaves the wicked movie that supposedly is getting made
Its been 3 years since this comment came this wicked movie better hurry im losing hope😔
Idina Menzel will always be my Elphaba but Rachel's voice is seriously PHENOMENAL!!!
Rachel Tucker is so Incredible!!!
Jesus she makes it look fucking effortless to belt this perfection whoa
seeing her live is one of the best things I have ever done!
I saw Rachel Tucker on stage she is amazing out fab!!
Her voice!! 😍😍
Is this really the person who came 4th on Nancy ? She has learnt so much since then shes brilliant
yes, this is Rachel Tucker who came fourth on I'd Do Anything in 2008. She's done very well since the shoe
@@queenmaoasada8447 no but then she wouldn’t have done elphaba
this made me cry!! i have no idea why but i couldnt hold them in!!xxxx one amazing talent

Omg! She's the best there is! Amazing!
Best Elphaba ever! Wow her voice gives me goosebumps every time. Amazing!
I see people arguing over the various Elphies [mainly shitting on Idina + some of the later ones], but they all have their good qualities.
fuckk shes amazing
To be honest I think she performs this better than Idena Menzel
+Samantha Willis Definitely! ;-)
DEFO !
ABSOLUTELY YES
Absolutely she does. She is the hands down best in this role!
absolutely!
Why on earth would anyone hate you - you speak the honest truth? I agree pretty much 100%! :)
awesome
@wickedexpert Totally agree! She is a consummate actress and a powerhouse vocalist. Perfection!
WOW. I can't believe I get to meet this chick intwo weeks! AND I get to see her perform in the show with Gina Beck! Increbile! I feel so lucky.

Man! She is beautiful!
Absolutely gorgeous - the lady & the performance!

Absolutely stunning! Amazing voice :-)

AMAZING I LOVE HER
There's no question she's gorgeous. We saw her July 2016 NYC (with the amazing Carrie St. Louis); her I'm Not That Girl gave me goosebumps, but this is not my favorite vocal. Look up her performance Defying Gravity with Aaron Tveit, now that's amazing.
She's amazing she's up with Sierra boggess. I personally think k Sierra boggess is the best female vocalist alive right now.
She's amazing, but Willemijn Verkaijk isn't too shabby either....
Wow!
she reminds me of sarah brightman, she's amazing
She is so amazing!
Stacy...I, saw Racel in Wicked in NY. EXCELLENT SHOW! Make your friend go with you!! lol
and said it respectfully without bashing on anyone else's opinion
Wow what a stunner! -3
so amazing!!!!
OMG no one will EVER EVER EVER beat Rachel at singing this song NEVER :)
The best!!! in this role!!!
She's got a cool take on the song. More upbeat and hopeful than a lot of the other Elphabas who make it sound more defiant and confrontational.
AGREED!
THIS!!! x
Rachel is by far the best Elphaba! X
shes in NY now and i want to see her but friend won't come with me so sad
thes now back in london love her so much
Also that guy who says woah at 1:56
incredible video, thank you so much!! :)
Amazing!
Rachel looks very nice!
The 16 dislikes are from The Wizard and his guards
Don't hate me, but for me she is everything that Kerry Ellis was and more. To me, she has Kerry's incredible voice and power, but mixed with Idina and Alexia's terrific passion. She is a perfect Elphaba IMO
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
hope the version on her album sounds like this!
0:57 Love when she stops singing for a moment and smiles
@chocolatexpqx her real talent is that she can sing incredible well live, on stage. very few singers in the world can be better from rachel tucker and other musical singers when it comes to live performances.
Now she plays on West End.
I agree. I think it's a real shame Kerry Ellis got about ten times more cheering and applause on her last show than Rachel - clearly not a show too heavy on the hardcore fans!
she is my cousin
i'd love to see sam do this role. i'd actually pay just to see her.even though i want to see the play as a whole.
SHE IS THE ONE who can be Elphaba in this world.
I think Idina nails the emotions but Rachel has the vocals and emotions perfectly.
You have the video of the last presentation of Stephanie J. Block on Broadway ?
I love her accent on this song, but I really think you cant compare this to like let us say Idina. They both have their own version, and they are both completely ozsome!
Rachel is simply the BEST - just sayin!!
Thr growl tho
no compison!! along with Louise, Rachel is the best Elphaba there ever was!!!!
I think this woman does quite a good job. It's a little to sweet for me being Elphaba. I thought towards there were some areas i think weren't as strong as the rest. Overall quite an amazing performance. My favorite is still willemijn verkaik
Did she deliberately start singing Wizard and I or was that part of the set ?
andrewjames1982 it’s the solo version of defying gravity
Elphaba*
i think kerry's better :) she has the AMAZING voice and her acting or ''passion'' isnt bad its just more suttle than scrunching your face up on the high notes, kerry's acting is more realistic !
... who is good too.
She is my ant be cos my momy is her cos
Yes she is my ant
Aunt
Yes
Do you no her
To shouty for me towards the end, I prefer Emma Hatton.
*thinks I sound good watches this* never mind
tbh SAME
Women, am I right?
And again she’s the one who wasn’t apparently that great as Nancy ???
